Fantastic experience: The best gym I’ve ever been a member of! Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Members and staff are all motivated to create a positive and supportive environment for everyone to get fit and healthy. Love the diverse classes, there’s something for everyone to try at any fitness level. The environment is super welcoming and motivating. And the gym is well equipped with everything you need for a good workout.

Negative experience: Rude staff, would not recommend.
Fantastic experience: A great little gym, with some of the original hammer strength line of equipment plus other old school goodies.. Friendly members and staff.. I always have a fantastic workout here ☺️
Negative experience: Terrible customer service. Took over a week to resolve an issue I was having. Then I got told that they will just cancel my membership. All due to false accusations made on me. Definitely would not recommend.
Negative experience: Dirty toilets, syringe on the floor. Staff are rude and smell of alcahol, deff not a good look.

Negative experience: Had a friend who has debt collectors on her now because of a contract your business locked her into without her consent , you need to make it right

Negative experience: Horrible experience with the staff, gave me incorrect details about signing up and now are trying to charge me $1,800 without even signing a form or picking up a gym membership card. This has now been taking to debt corrections and I’m being told to pay. They haven’t responded to any of my emails and when I have called they have not done anything about this.

Regarding the incident at the reception this morning, after discussions with our team, it appears the interaction may have been perceived differently. Our staff described the exchange as a heightened discussion, noting that you seemed quite vocal. They felt that perhaps their responses were not entirely acknowledged or heard by you. Negative experience: Buyer beware. History of referring clients to debt collectors after they missed an email.
Hi Nick we have had a look into your account and can see that there are many attempts made to contact you via our billing agent debit success and which they had no return phone calls or emails from you.
Negative experience: Keep an eye on your bank if you have a direct debit with this gym. Money may get stolen from your account.

Fantastic experience: This is only my second gym I have signed up to so I'm no expert, lots of equipment, lots of space and affordable, the changing rooms are always clean and the showers have good pressure, staff are super nice .
Negative experience: Awful. I joined up on a short 6 months contract as I was pregnant. Due to complications I had to move house to be closer to family and therefore couldn't go. So I went about 3 times... they refused to cancel withput an extortionate fee and still charging me. Co tract due to end this month and they also charged me the annual maintenance fee this month knowing my situation and the fact I've not been going, and have not responded to any complaint via email or text. I am due to give birth next week and they choose to take more money off me for a maintenance fee for the gym they know I have not been attending. Disgusting service. And being ignored by the owner is also disgraceful.
Fantastic experience: Best gym I've signed up for. Not trying to bash businesses but from expierence being with Jetts, City Fitness & Configure express (before it closed) Jenkins is definitely my favourite. I consider it homely and doesn't have a snobby atmosphere compared to the other gyms. You can be yourself and not feel awkward when using equipment. Very friendly vibe especially with the regulars I see there. Smiles and just doing their thing. Love the women's changing rooms and the showers are soooo heavenly, my favourite thing to look forward to after a workout with the amazing pressure they have. Thanks team.
Fantastic experience: This gym is amazing it has helped me in different areas of my body in muscle development due to the wide range of different machines. Thank you Jenkins staff and gym now I can hit the goals I've always set out to accomplish because of the awesome atmosphere and choice happy and helpful member's there..it's a from me

Negative experience: Renee is amazing, but have had a horrid experience with one of the other staff members that led to me cancelling. The gym is advertised as child friendly. A friend of mine who takes her 2 kids and was having a rough time getting in the door overheard a staff member saying “that’s a reason to keep your legs shut”. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional.

Negative experience: Just came back from trying to sign up for a trial membership as a precursor to a full membership. I left before even getting my name written down due to a the staff member at the counter. I came in with my wife while holding a baby on a car capsule. It started weirdly with the staff member asking for a name and then cutting me off when I thought she meant me and not my wife. My wife then suggested that I go outside to get the pram from our car just outside. The staff member kept saying we can't do that. I guess it would be too much inconvenience for the to have to wait two minutes. We kept trying to say that it'll just take a minute and that my wife can't hold the capsule for extended time due to an injury, which was met with hand waving and a condescending explanation that I can't go to get a pram because she needs to show me around the gym. She then told my wife to go get the pram. My first immediate impression of the place is that they found me and my kid to be an inconvenience and that they do not care about people's injuries. However, maybe I am and the staff member had something much more pressing and urgent to do in the time that it takes some to go to their car and back.

Positive experience: Generally a good gym, well maintained, kept clean and has a friendly atmosphere. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Good rates. Good number of equipment to member ratio, generally are never having to wait for a turn on equipment. Some gyms get way too many members for the amount of equipment they have and people end up queuing up to have a turn on treadmills, squat rack, dumbbells etc. - that's not a problem at Jenkins. It's one of the very few gyms that offer child care while parents workout and the child minders are very good with kids, though the hours for childcare are limited. They offer diverse range of classes that're free if you're a member. Would be nice if they had air conditioning because it gets very hot during summer and can be uncomfortable to workout in the heat. Overall an excellent gym for the weekly fee charged. Would recommend, especially for those who workout during late evening or early morning when it's not so hot.
Positive experience: Fair price considering the equipment available, however no hack squat, deadlift platforms or fixed landmine end. Friendly staff and atmosphere there. The bad stuff: Machines cap screws are all mostly loose and not very well looked after, 2 of the barbells are bent and poor range of kettlebells in the main area that aren't even labeled. Overall good gym
Positive experience: I don’t know why ppl complain about the cancellation fees etc. Read the papers. Everything is mentioned in there. 10.50/week Some machines would deserve a bit more love. Otherwise nice gym with plenty of weights
