Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved being at Les Mills Britomart I felt like coming home, but with more sweat and better playlists From the second you walk in, the vibe is : friendly, relaxed, and zero ego. Ben, Julie, James, and Rouri (Ruario) are absolute legends always smiling, always up for a yarn, and somehow making hard workouts feel slightly less painful (slightly). It’s the kind of place where you don’t feel awkward, lost, or like “the new one” you just slot right in. Great energy, great people, and a proper community feel. Big thanks to the team for keeping it real. P.S sorry if I missed somebody’s name .

Fantastic experience: There are trainers who teach a class, and then there are trainers who transform it — Jake is definitely the latter :) Ever since I started going to his spin classes (The Trip) I even tried his BodyPump class once!, I find myself genuinely looking forward to every session. His energy is uplifting, his words are motivating, and his presence is powerful. No matter how tough the ride gets, you’ll push through — and actually enjoy it. Truly the best part of my week! Thank you, Jake, for bringing your energy and inspiration every time!

Negative experience: The staff there are awesome, but bikes in cycle studio are horrible, there is a galaxy between the seat and handle bar, especially if you are a normal height girl, if you wanna hurt your back, go ahead.

Fantastic experience: As a long term member (>5 years) this is a very clean and well equipped gym. Friendly staff. Rarely crowded. Almost always enough weights, benches and racks available (also heaps of cardio machines.)

Negative experience: As an annual member, I terminated my membership account at the beginning of the month. The gym asked me to pay the membership fee for the month I stopped, which is simply outrageous. If you want to choose this gym, please be cautious.

Fantastic experience: Probably the best gym I've been too. There is a good amount of machines clean club and it's great having a sauna for after my workout

Negative experience: Front desk has no clue. This gym is so big they are happy to lose customers to bad service. I their words... cool mate lots of gyms around here, move on.

Positive experience: The gym is always extremely clean, it has a very pleasant space and flow of people. In front of the subway station then it's perfect. A good schedule of group classes and mostly good devices, but the adductor and abductor chairs are greatly missed. They could review this investment…

Fantastic experience: A really good gym, clean, modern. I like join the group fitness class after a long day at the desk. The instructors are funny and enthusiastic so they motivate you to push that extra mile which helps with your fitness.

Fantastic experience: The cleanest gym that I’ve been to in Auckland. Not as big at others but it doesn’t get as busy as other gyms. Great equipment.

Positive experience: All the usual excellent Les Mills service and ammenities. Smaller than other locations, the price to pay for convenient downtown locations. 90min free parking via validation

Negative experience: This place is ridiculously stink - there’s so many smelly members, Come on guys, be courteous, use some deodorant before your workout. Les Mills surely you can install some air fresheners ‍♂️

Negative experience: For the past many months, the air conditioner has been ineffective. A month or so ago, portable fans were scattered across the area, which circulated rancid sweat ear and increased humidity, which intensified the awful odor. What is the next step? This has been a pressing concern for several months, but we still have to pay the whole price.

Classes are amazing and the facilities are the best that I’ve seen. Les Mills is high value for what you get in a membership and I’m very glad to have signed up. Everyone has been so accomodating.

Fantastic experience: While I have a multi-club Les Mills membership and use all the city gyms, this is my favourite. Compact but with everything I need; group fitness classes, virtual classes, cycle studio and a well equipped gym floor. Reception staff are always friendly and helpful, the change rooms modern and clean. 90 minutes free parking is sometimes not quite enough, although not a problem if you can walk there or use public transport.

Positive experience: Missing a few pieces of equipment which you would imagine are pretty standard... seated biscep curl, hip abduction, hip adduction. Otherwise a very good gym with range of classes

Positive experience: The reception staff/ trainers are really lovely- Always greet you with a smile. Gym equipment is new and flash. Only thing is this gym is quite small so often in busy times it is hard to find a machine and there is no "female only" section like there is at the city les mills which is a shame

Negative experience: Isn't the primary purpose of a "weekly" membership to avoid being bound by a contract? Why am I being charged a buyout fee to terminate a weekly membership? It seems unreasonable. Moreover, this aspect was not disclosed during the sales pitch that convinced me to sign up. It is highly unethical to impose such an arduous cancellation process. I am required to submit a request, receive an excessively long email in response, and even then, I have to make a phone call because the email does not align with what I was initially promised. This situation is truly absurd.

Fantastic experience: A newer Les Mills, this gym has a more boutique feel with great new facilities like a sauna. It has only one studio for group classes, which means I mostly go to the Auckland City gym for their class offering, but I prefer this gym for active rest and recovery days, especially with its sauna. Can get busy at weekday lunchtimes.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training at Les Mills Britomart for the past year and their services are all outstanding. Really enjoy everything about it. Great trainers, great group classes, great equipments. Very clean space. Everything’s fantastic.

Negative experience: Careful there are Robbers in Ladies changing room. My boots got stolen yesterday. One cheap woman who pays a decent amount to the gym. Could not afford a 100 dollar pair of shoes. I had to walk back to office with my gym shoes on.

Negative experience: The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Always read the fine print. This is a money hungry institution with no empathy. If you care about your finances DO NOT JOIN. They will disregard anything you say. Absolutely awful. I will be advising everyone against going with this business.

Positive experience: Conveniently located, friendly staff and good range of equipment and machines. Tidy facilities and gym area. Also a plus being in the middle of the city and with access to the subsidized car parking building next door.

Positive experience: Not an issue with the actual gym but head office a different story.Received a written email offer in which I accepted I was subsequently charged a joing fee not mentioned in the specified quote. Despite fone and email discussion no joy instead of honouring the quote Les Mills continues to insist a joing fee is ALWAYS applicable despite my written quotes some of which specify a joining fee other options do not. We are talking about $29 dollars in a years membership.Its not the dollars but the attitude if We are right you are wrong despite me having the written evidence. Versus "its always this way"!!!

Negative experience: It used to be a good gym and operate 24hs but now they are only working on very restricted hours and most day time( they close 18:00 on Sunday) which is ridiculous for a high quality GYM. I changed to Anytime fitness and I’m very happy with that. Lorn Street club is great, 24hs and I’m spending way less than LesMills. If you are mostly interested on class and have time during the day(which most of people don’t) to commit it might be a good choice. If you are mostly interested on weightlifting and need a flexible schedule, run way from LesMills.

Negative experience: Very poor handling of my contract switch. I came from a single club membership in Auckland City and was told at sign up that it won't be any problem switching clubs later on. Now that I wanted to switch to this one, I was told I would loose my promo discount that I signed up with. That's not how I imagine switching with no problem looks like. I mean mistakes happen and I'm sure in the small fine print of the contract I signed, this was probably written. But the whole situation was very poorly handled by the Britomart management with little understanding for my side. On top, the Auckland City gym is actually much better. If you can, choose that one.

Positive experience: The Britomart Les Mills has all the equipment you need, but it's great if you prefer cardio since there is a huge cardio area with lots of machines.

Negative experience: It's a good gym. I'm happy with their facilities. But I don't like their personal trainers because they occupy too many machines or areas for teaching. I want to finish my exercise quickly but sometimes I cannot due to them. And they talk too much with their customers while occupying machines.

Negative experience: Very disappointing that Les Mills no longer has a 24 hour gym, I joined for the ability to go to the gym after hours and this gym was Monday to Thursday 24 hours. Where was the consultation - I had no idea this was to change? I saw a lot of people in This gym after after 10 pm at night and here we go ...it’s changed. Very disappointed - we are supposedly in a large cosmopolitan city...and have small town hours. Other then this - this is a great gym with amazing staff - but surely we can have one Les Mills that’s open Monday to Thursday 24/7 for shiftworkers and those who want to work out late at night without the crowds.

Fantastic experience: I came to Les Mills this past weekend wanting to purchase a two month membership as a surprise for my son. Once done, I texted my son with the news, only to find that he is heading off to Spain in a month for his OE. I returned to Les Mills, explained my situation and was told I would be contacted Monday. Get this...I WAS contacted on Monday and I was told I was being given a one month refund(after my son said to kiss that money goodbye). Both Andrea and Kim were incredibly friendly, conscientious, honest and prompt. I do not believe Les Mills had any responsibility to refund my money as I had signed a contract and was the one who made the mistake. I am incredibly impressed and grateful. Thank you Andrea, Kim and Les Mills.
