Fantastic experience: After a 3 month vacay its was great to return to my local gym and be greeted by the friendly manager Ruby! She keeps the gym in great shape, super clean and tidy

Positive experience: Nice size, clean and a good range of equipment.

Negative experience: I just moved this area and I was looking for a gym but after reviewing couple of customer feedback I decided and recommend everyone not to join this snap fitness. The reason is lack of customer centered policies. 30 DAYS ADVANCE CANCELLATION NOTICE IS A SCAM because they know people are busy and can’t not able to afford to keep up with timing. Can any one with right might really justify what 30 days advance notice really needed that same day cancellation cannot do. It’s clearly a scam policy that has implementation to take extra money from people. We all need to STOP paying this kind of service.

Negative experience: I joined snap and the facilities were good, a few machines broken for a while sometimes but otherwise a clean modern space. When I could no longer afford the membership I requested to cancel. This wasn’t actioned and money was taken from my account without my consent. I asked for this to be refund and again asked for the membership to be cancelled. This was ignored a second time and a second payment was taken without my consent. This is absolutely unacceptable. I noticed there’s another review from a previous member below that lost money also due to something similar. Seems this gym cares more about making money than its customers being able to afford to live. I’d steer clear of this gym if you can.

Positive experience: Amazing Gym. Friendly team. Ruby is also great at her work, but she is a clever business lady when she asked me should I keep your account active other than cancelling- you still can use the gym in Silverdale area ? To that cross selling question My reciprocating mind said Okay but that answer costs me few dollars

Positive experience: Please update the status of the gym if under maintenance. Just come to workout but it was closed due to flood damage.

Fantastic experience: Snap fitness Wairau gym is a great space! I love the big functional space to lift, the boxing and squat rigs are great quality. The staff are so friendly and the classes are lots of fun to join in! They're always so welcoming and happy to help us out.

Bit small and missing a couple of machines, I like but overall great for the space, Sometimes you cant use squat rack during class session because it was occupied, no space for classes, you need to wait to use the equipment during busy hours, advise need to expand and add more additional machine especially there is a vacant space on the building.. cheers.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Snap Fitness Wairau Valley for about 18 months and have always found it to be spotless, with excellent equipment, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and an upbeat, supportive atmosphere. As a gym newbie I found it a fantastic facility that I could commit to visiting regularly.

I have found snap fitness have a very helpful and a welcoming team which has been so nice being a newbie. the facilities have been superb since day one, always clean and heaps of equipment available. The two free PT sessions I had with Jarrod were great and I genuinely felt excited to set goals and get out there knowing how to use gym equipment and plan my workputs. Thanks for the experience so far :)

I feel energized and strong after the class. I would recommend everyone to give Nadia's class a go, you will be sold on it like me.

Fantastic experience: Top marks and wholehearted recommendation for Personal Trainer Nadia! She's completely converted me back to YOGA having only tried couple of times before and finding it too zen. Nadia gets a great mix of positive vibes, good workout for your body and releasing the pressure valve. Also, the sessions are interesting and varied so you don't get bored.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy PT Nadia's yoga and yogalates classes. She keeps them interesting with a different focus each week. She is also very aware of giving options to manage different abilities and injuries. Namaste Nadia.

I’ve always been slack with getting motivated and staying on track but these guys can motivate you to push harder than you’ve ever worked before! For once in my life, I love coming to the gym and the biggest motivator is the staff! For me, any business regardless of what it is, if the staff aren’t “helpful” I will be less inclined to return however, I can finally see progression with my health and I couldn’t be more thankful to the team!
