Positive experience: I had a great workout, but can someone do something about all the hairs in the drains in the showers please. They are disgusting and it makes me not have a shower at the gym. Having a shower after my workout I feel relaxed and ready for the big day ahead of me.

Fantastic experience: Having a 24hr gym in my neighbourhood that is spacious with modern gym equipment and fantastic staff is wonderful! The gym members are awesome where great friendships are made. I am happy and content to be a member.

Negative experience: Sad to give one star :( this is a really good gym but.... My partner ended his contract here but has been still getting charged. He asked for a refund and its been two weeks going on three , we were told that the accounts have sorted it and the money is on its way but still no refund. I have called three times to sort this :(

Fantastic experience: I would just like to express my gratitude towards the staff at Avondale. I have been having a lot of tragedies lately one being the loss of my oldest son. Today I met with a staff member named Warren who shared compassion and genuine concern and him being there to help in more ways than one has prompted my 5 stars. Tysm Warren you have made this Man's day and I am truly grateful

Fantastic experience: The worker was so helpful, she helped my form in deadlift and I was able to hit my or of 150kg. She was able to give me expert advice as a young 18 year old. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 experience. After checking out a few other nearby gyms, we decided on this one as the clear winner. Plenty of machines and free weights and several treadmills open during peak time. Will definitely return.

Fantastic experience: Best gym out, I drive all the way from Westgate to Avondale every week because the staff are AMAZING and always make me feel comfortable and welcomed! I went from a girl who always hated the gym and was too shy to work on my goals to a girl who joins challenges and makes new friends in the gym! All thanks to Avondale snapfitness staff

Fantastic experience: Great gym, good range of equipment both free weight and machines. Super friendly and helpful staff. Customer base is great as well, left some valuables behind a few times and it's always handed into the staff.

Positive experience: I give the staff 5 stars and its generally a very warm and friendly place. Like all snap gyms I dont like how too much equipment is jammed in to the space and the changing rooms are just the toilets or showers. But its great value membership overall having access to any of the Snap gyms. A real bonus when you travel.

Fantastic experience: Joined just before lockdown last year. Holly the manager was super friendly every time I came in. Always checked in on me to see if I needed help or support. I regularly received emails with helpful information for my goals. Gym was always super clean. Sadly I had to end my membership due to moving down the line. Cancelling was easy, filled in my form, revived confirmation via email of my request and final day I could use the gym. Everything with was just very friendly and professional with this gym. Great team, hopefully I can find a gym like it down the line

Fantastic experience: Great equipment for sure, but what's better is the Team. You want a club that when you walk through the door, the team stop to say hi, check how your day is and make sure you are on track to your goals. You aren't just a number here, you are family, and as part of the Snap Fitness Community, you are always surrounded by a solid support network.

It's also next to a café, so if you're out of energy you can grab a long black before pulling some weight.

Negative experience: Emailed twice online to enquire about charges past my one year contract still no reply. Checked my bank account today and another deduction made without explanation. Quick to send out promos though. Joined via my organisation will make sure they look at other gyms.

Fantastic experience: Very Professional service, providing everything I need in a gym. Equipment is regularly cleaned which is perfect in the current climate. Staff are friendly and happy to help with anything.

Fantastic experience: My favorite Snap Fitness. The gym is well equipped, good spacing between machines and very well ventilated. Modern and clean equipment. Enthusiastic staff and two thumbs up to PT Rani (great attitude, friendly, helpful and approachable). Security is great. Bit busy during peak times but the members are rather respectful towards each other. I highly recommend this professionally run club! (writing this review after using the gym more than 1.5 Years)

The back was open so there was a good generous flow of fresh air into the gym which is a huge plus, since other gyms are pretty stuffy. It's spacious which is also v nice, and greeted by a pt. The showers are clean and compact, and the layout of equipment is good. Glad I signed up

Positive experience: Good gym. Definitely spacious with a lot of new equipment. Love working out here, been a member for more 2 yrs now.. However, thought that the staff members could be a little more friendly. I came in one time said hello to two staff members, a hello back in response could be helpful. I mean it's customer service 101 to greet your members. Even walking out of the gym they said nothing.. mind you it wasn't like this in the pass..Maybe got new staff members that need better training in customer service. Anyways.. those are my thoughts.
