Fantastic experience: This is a large velodrome which hosts many national and club cycling events. We were driving through the area when we just stopped by and decided to visit the place, which we would have easily skipped. We were pleasantly surprised to see the facilities and the infrastructure. The club events going on there were a treat to watch and the kids had their adrenaline rush too. The entry was easy and ample parking was available, although it was busy due to the ongoing cycling event. A café is available on site and ticketed events can be attended too. Well recommended if one can spare some time while zooming past the location on the motorway.

Fantastic experience: The velodrome is an inviting place with nearby public walks, playgrounds and a cafe. The Grassroots Trust Velodrome has an internal lift and ramps leading to the seating area. Toilets available onsite and vending machines.

Positive experience: First time visitors to the Cafe. 3 staff said "will be with you soon" it wasn't overly busy! Finally got order placed, 2 flat white coffee, paid and went and sat down. A while later we noticed a staffer walking around with 2 cups, he stopped at the table just before us, then back to the counter. We tried getting his attention. Next he came back with a note and asked us if we ordered 2 flat whites? Then berated us for not taking a number?

Fantastic experience: Super friendly evey person working there from the young man at the front desk to an amazing bike mechanic so willing to share his knowledge so you have a the best ride possible with your bike. Rigth the head of programmers everyone there wants you to have the best experience in there venue.

Fantastic experience: Staff are so helpful, and it is a fantastic facility for the local community. Awesome sporting events and great opportunities for trying out the sport of track cycling. Mya has been incredibly helpful in dealing with the booking system.

Fantastic experience: We just completed a tour with Jorja at the Velodrome!! Was AWESOME!!!! This place is a site to see and the tour was easy to follow, informative and mind-boggling at times. There is so much that goes into a place like this and the sport and we definitely recommend coming here, taking a tour, even if you’re not a fan of the sport, it’s so worth doing! Kirsten, Jo and Jorja have a great thing going on here! Come pay a visit!

Fantastic experience: Bikes are cool. I like biking. If you like biking you will hate the Valondrome no one likes biking more than me. I repeat no one.

Negative experience: Just wanted to warn any overseas visitors, don't attempt to go to the Cambridge valodrome. The valodrome or the Cafe will only accept NZ vaccine certificates. If you were fully vaccinated in another country, ie Australia, you can't get a NZ vaccine certificate, because you weren't vaccined in NZ. We have our Australian government international vaccine certificate, but not good enough for the valedrome. So OVERSEAS VISITORS NOT WELCOME!!!!

A very clean and neat place with a lot of parking space and wonderful cafeteria for relaxation after your workout. Your kids can have training for cycling with highly skilled professional trainers…! Fantastic experience: Visited on the open day and had a taste of speeding round the veledrome track. That was great fun and I'm considering attending their certification classes. There are all sorts of healthy activities for us all here. Also did a mini yoga class which felt really good. More recently gave joined the gym and do the active ages class on Monday and the Pilates classes on Thursday and Friday. The classes have a reasonable level of challenge and I find I feel great afterwards.

Fantastic experience: Had my M1 and M2 accreditation today, this was so much fun and really great coach (thank you so much Clair) and her very helpful and knowledgeable young assistant , really nice place, nice food and very helpful front staff at reception.

Fantastic experience: Great coffee, food & service! We went on a hugely busy day, (Labour Weekend & National Crossfit Champs), but the service was still fast. Wonderful menu with lots of variety. The Pavlova French toast pictured was amazing. I loved the Turkish Breakfast & would definitely go back for that.
