Although our name is ‘Sky’ we are still very much down to earth and we are very proud of the training environment we have created for our members.
One of our members once commented to us “ I was explaining to a friend about what the Sky Fitness point of difference was and I summarised by saying they know every members name, they use it every time you visit and they are genuinely pleased to see you there.”
We do enjoy seeing our members visit and we know the hardest part about training is just getting to the gym but once you are here we know the friendly Sky Fitness environment is conducive to you achieving your goals.

Fantastic experience: As a student this place is affordable, convenient, and incredibly welcoming. The staff are stand-out folks, and such great motivators. I have made great friends while at this gym, and I think Skyfit is one of the only thing I will miss once I leave Dunedin.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Lots of equipment. Not crowded. Super friendly management. Reasonable daily use fee. We were traveling and needed a place to work out for a couple of days and this was perfect.

Fantastic experience: I'm bias, family work there and I'm night shift right around the corner. The atmosphere is really welcoming to people from first timers to competetive lifters. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience as a first timer. Phil is genuinely friendly and the facilities at the gym are perfect for strength training. Reasonable prices for someone passing through Dunedin. Would recommend for temporary gym goers and regular visitors alike.
Fantastic experience: I was a memeber of SkyFit for 2 years before moving away from Dunedin and I wouldn't go anywhere else. It is awesome to come back to the gym and see the new facility and equipment that is now avaliable 24 hours a day. SkyFit has all of the cardio and weight equipment for a variety of skill levels so it doesn't matter whether you are new to fitness or have training elsewhere before. Overall Phil and the team have created a healthy and welcoming workout environment that caters for a variety of fitness abilities and goals. Cheers.
Negative experience: A dark and gloomy environment of the gym and so do the mentality of the owner/administrator of the gym.
This is a very unfair review from Muhammad Yasir, we were only ever really nice, respectful and tactful to him when taking him aside to talk to him about his body odour and excessive sweating all over the equipment and Ab mats. We had several complaints from members about his personal hygiene. We are sorry that he has taken exception to us trying to help him.

Fantastic experience: There's no place better than here in Dunedin if you wanna work out. Phil is super friendly and will sort out a plan for ya. They got pt's too if your in need of one. Great gym with great staff and equipment.
Fantastic experience: Been a member of this gym for half a year already. Phil is so friendly as well as the other staffs. You are always feel welcome. It's a 24/7 gym. Just have your access card handy. A variety of equipments to choose from. One thing I just want that hopefully they have are the stair machine and punching bag.
