Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Fitness is Fun outdoor classes at Woodstock School. Heaps of variety with a different focus every day, very friendly and welcoming and all ability levels catered for. I've no interest in joining a gym so has been a great option to do gym-like workouts in a non-gym environment!
Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Fitness is Fun for just under seven months. When I started, it was my first time back into exercise after two c-sections and I found it hard to commit. My first goal in the 8-week challenge was to run 1 km, which I achieved. I’ve since completed my first run event since having kids (7 km). That progress wouldn’t have happened without the knowledge and guidance of Anna and her coaches. The women I train with are welcoming and supportive, and I enjoy every class. The sessions have kept me accountable and I’m still going regularly. While the fitness gains have been great, the biggest benefit for me is being able to bring my little girl so she can be part of such a positive environment.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoying being part of Fitness is Fun. I didn't want to join a gym (I have been there and done that) and liked the idea of doing fitness with women in my age group. 8 weeks in and 29 cm down, sleeping better, feeling stronger, taking more notice of what I am eating and enjoying the early morning company. A big thumbs up to the instructors who are encouraging and put up with all the chat. If you think this might be the thing for you, contact Anna, I am sure you will love it.

Fantastic experience: Perfect group for anyone starting their fitness journey. Anna has a gentle, accepting energy that it motivates you to look after yourself. She teaches how important showing up really is. The exercises are doable by everyone and do not leave you with random aches and pains.

Fantastic experience: I returned to Fitness is Fun a couple of years ago after a break and love the community, classes, and positive vibe created by Anna and her training team. Everyone is encouraging and welcoming, regardless of where you are in your exercise journey. I love that we can train outdoors with sheltered options, and the range of classes is varied and interesting. Highly recommend giving it a go!

Fantastic experience: I am so pleased I took up the challenge and joined Anna Armstrong's Fitness is Fun classes four months ago. Apprehensive at first, I have noticed huge benefits in terms of my strength, fitness, resilience, confidence, energy levels, and overall wellbeing. The trainers are all so knowledgeable and ensure each participant is training at a level that is comfortable for them, but being challenged at the same time. The community of women that Anna has created is friendly, encouraging and inspiring.

Fantastic experience: Four weeks into an 8-week fitness challenge at Fitness is Fun, and I’m already noticing a huge difference. My strength and balance has dramatically improved—picking up my toddler and getting from A to B is so much easier. The sessions are varied and always challenging and all of the trainers really know their stuff. I definitely recommend joining if you’re after a super lovely group and a good workout! ️♀️

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much for the last 8 weeks. I love the early morning classes. Fresh air, even on there on rainy days I feel great during the day at work. I'm feeling firmer, and yes, standing taller. After 2 frozen shoulders & knee injuries, they are feeling so much stronger. It's great having the friendly instructors to ensure Im doing the exercises correctly. & options for beginners or injuries. I am looking forward to carrying on with all the other regulars Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Anna has created a supportive community of women who enjoy outdoor group exercise. The workouts she designs are excellent - each session is different and challenges different areas of your strength and fitness. She is always looking for different ways to motivate members and is very encouraging of everyone from those new to exercise to active women who are looking to challenge themselves.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy my fitness classes with Anna Armstrong. I love the variety of exercises that we do and the challenges Anna presents for us . All the women are so encouraging, we have a laugh together but really push ourselves. I come away feeling invigorated and motivated to tackle the rest of my day

Fantastic experience: Anna is the perfect trainer for women over 50 who have injuries or a lack of motivation (or both). Her classes are set to your level and work arounds provided if you can't do particular exercises. She is attentive and provides individualized advise depending on your needs. What I like is Anna's low key and friendly manner and how she builds the routines from week to week. GIVE IT A GO.

Fantastic experience: I was really shy to join a fitness group but after phoning Anna and chatting to her I signed up and booked my first class of her 8 week challenge. Anna is super supportive and has also helped me to look at my overall well-being along with regular exercise. Everyone made me feel welcome at the classes and I look forward to them amd have continued beyond the 8 week challenge.

Fantastic experience: Such a supportive and lovely group of ladies! I’ve been going for just 9 weeks but I can already feel I’m getting stronger and developing cardio fitness. There are some super fit ladies in the group but there is no shaming or looking down on anyone who is less fit, instead they encourage you and support you in your journey. It makes getting up for the 6am classes so much more enjoyable. Definitely a fun group to be part of.

Fantastic experience: Training here has been a great experience. There's is variety of fitness levels, ages and experience within the group I have been with. Anna does a wonderful job of catering to all and the atmosphere is both challenging focused and fun. Anna provides alot of additional support and knowledge to building and sustaining a healthy holistic life. This is something I very much value and adds to my training practices thank you!
Fantastic experience: The coach name Anna who running Fitness is Fun for people need to get fit, absolutely is doing a good job and professional. I was been helping for my running techniques to pass the fitness test to be a cop. Anna helped me to correct my breathing, body movement and running pace. If anyone need to improve their fitness level and sport performance, go ask Fitness and Fun!

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend the Fitness is Fun online courses (I'm based in Auckland). I have just completed the 6 week Resilient Runner Challenge online and it has been just what I needed to get back into a regular exercise routine and help improve my overall running ability. The videos and daily program were clear, easy to follow, implement into your daily exercise routine and keep you accountable. Included was lots of useful information about hydration, nutrition, mindset, common injuries - causes and recovery, helpful tips and leading up to race day. Anna is an amazing trainer who definitely makes fitness fun, she is extremely supportive and is always willing to help you improve your fitness and running.
Fantastic experience: Anna's coaching is structured and personalised. She has loads of knowledge around techniques, injury prevention and strengthening specific to runners. Her run plans are progressive and not based around smashing yourself with unproductive ks. I've experienced personal bests through following her coaching and look forward to getting after more!

Meeting early means there is still lots of the morning left once I get home. I usually run by myself during the week, so it's a treat to have a few laughs and banter while my Sunday runs with the group. There's no pressure to run a set distance or at a set pace.

Fantastic experience: FIF is a fun, non-judgmental space to enjoy fitness with a group of like minded people. The variety of workouts throughout the week keeps it fresh, and the instructors are great at listening to the needs to each person's body.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic bootcamp , I have gone for 5 years and Anna is amazing! Has helped me gain strength and fitness and get back into shape between babies plus my babies and young children have been welcome to tag along too! Great community and Anna is good at understanding individuals needs and goals.

Fantastic experience: I joined fitness is fun last part of the term last year and I really have never been motivated enough to stick it out well here I am still sticking at doing 5 days a week. The girls are friendly and supportive and fit right in. The training is different but I like the range of different trainers and it's never the same thing its always a different challenge and the trainers are so supportive and knowledgeable as well. Highly recommend
