Negative experience: Avoid this gym unless you enjoy getting ripped off with hidden fees and broken facilities. They recently introduced a new payment system that feels like a cash grab, not an improvement. I was charged a $15 "admin fee" just for switching from my existing membership. There was no warning and no choice. If you miss a single fortnightly direct debit, which doesn't even tell you what time of day it will charge, you're hit with another $15. Even if you pay manually that same day, the extra fee still applies. It ends up doubling your membership cost for no valid reason. If you're going to hit members with junk fees like every other shady gym, the least you can do is offer basic facilities. The showers are often broken. The toilets are regularly out of toilet paper. It's not just poor service. It's neglect. There are better gyms out there that charge less and take care of their members. This one just takes your money and gives you nothing in return.

Negative experience: You employ such lazy staff. Toilets never have toilet paper. Dust everywhere om everything. Rubbish barely taken out (i bet no more than once a week) roof is aids. Avoid locking yourself into a contract here, the owner Alan just uses this as a cash cow, good machines but poor rest of everything else

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym. Great staff who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and support you on your journey. The owner is a good sort. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I was with Kiwi Life a few years back when I lived in hawera. I look back now due to experience with gyms here in Rotorua and i would honestly say Kiwi Life is a game changer. From the equipment to the facilities it's just overall spectacular! 100% recommended!! Will be back start of 2020!!!
