Welcome to Napier RDA, a heartwarming charitable organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities through the magical connection with horses. As one of the 54 independently managed Riding for the Disabled (RDA) groups across New Zealand, we are passionate about providing therapeutic horse riding and unmounted activities designed specifically for both children and adults facing various challenges.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for those with disabilities or specific needs by fostering a unique interaction with horses. Located in Napier, we offer a variety of programs, including our Ride Therapy Programme and Unmounted Programme, allowing participants to engage with our friendly horses in ways that meet their individual challenges.

In addition to our riding sessions, we also run a School Holiday Programme, ensuring that our services are accessible to a wider community throughout the year. With a small membership fee of just $5 annually, becoming a member of Napier RDA not only supports our mission but also connects you to a network of like-minded individuals dedicated to making a difference.
