Fantastic experience: I got a day pass and trained here today while in Nelson for a short stay What an awesome gym with a great atmosphere! Spacious, clean, tidy everything is well looked after and maintained. Staff were very friendly and made me feel like I was a member of the gym! Highly recommended

Negative experience: Apart from the golden oldies in the morning telling me to turn the fans off in the middle of summer because of the noise not the breeze, in a gym, its not too bad of a gym. Sometimes it feels like sauna up there. Great for classes or for socializing.

Fantastic experience: MiGym is a great gym, with lots of live and virtual classes to chose from and I always leave feeling better than when I arrived! I have also had deep tissue massages with Isabelle a number of times and she is amazing!

Negative experience: Having done drop in classes at Migym ,this was my third class here . Quite expensive at $25 especially when the space is freezing cold !. First class I could hardly feel my fingers and toes , second class the teacher had the students starting more like a Pilates class to warm up advising everyone to leave there socks and a top on as the room was freezing .Third time a replication , so decided to go else where. I have enjoyed drop in classes all over the world with amazing teachers and this would be found very non yogi . Beware

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym that really does focus on the clients individual needs. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff that are employed to help you achieve your goals! The gym offers a range of fitness classes, a massage room and even a caregiver that can look after your children while you work out! Why wouldnt you join?

Fantastic experience: Nice place to do exercise, small, compact, clean and friendly staff, really helpful. And the sauna is the big bonus, traditional one not infra red. Wish they have two saunas, a bit difficult to get the time I want.

The staff are knowledgeable and supportive and the facilities are superb, from the sauna and the bathrooms to the equipment and the setup. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking to get fitter and healthier while feeling respected and valued.

Fantastic experience: I love working out at MiGym in Nelson, the facilities are great, the staff are super friendly and helpful, there are so many options for different classes as different times of the day during the week. I've been attending personal training sessions with Mayra, along with a few friends and we love her, so knowledgeable, so much fun and she pushes us hard!

Negative experience: Very disappointed in the service of this gym. After being pursuaded into a 6 month contract with Migym in July of 2018, I figured out I would be leaving Nelson 2 months earlier than expected. I explained to them the situation and how continuing to pay for a service that I wouldn't be using would put a financial strain on me as I am a young international traveler. They had no regard for my situation and said there are no exceptions to this rule. Easy for them to say, as they knew I would be leaving the country soon. So nice of them to "stretch the rules" giving me a contract at a discount in the first place, but absolutely no chance of "stretching the rules" when it comes down to it, choosing money over returning customer satisfaction.

Fantastic experience: We joined MiGym half a year ago. It's been great, with the classes giving you extra motivation and push to do better and the sauna in winter is amazing :)

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym, great specials, lots of classes to chose from on your membership, nice showers, and my fave the sauna and the essential 24hr access!!! I like the central location and view if the hills from the exercise machines. They even have paid childminding for over fives. It's my happy place.

Fantastic experience: Professionally run, excellent location, plenty of equipment, friendly and supportive staff. We love working out at MiGym; the equipment is well spaced, no feeling of being crowded and there is always help around if we need it. After the work out what better than to sit down with a really great coffee, made on the premises. Definitely the best outfit in town!

Fantastic experience: My daughter swims competitively and she needed some dryland training to supplement the time she spends in the pool. I was really impressed by the time and effort that Trevor spent with me explaining his approach. My daughter has been training for a few months now and has made some real improvements. The MiGym staff are not only qualified but they are also know about sport and training. We now have a family membership. What a great place to train and chill out.
