Jetts Palmerston North

Negative experience: When I initially signed up, I was under the impression that I was enrolling in a month-to-month membership where I could cancel with two weeks’ notice. At no point during the sign-up process was it clearly explained to me that I was entering into an 18-month fixed-term contract that I would be required to pay for in full until the end of the term. This misunderstanding has caused me significant stress, as I am currently unable to afford an 18-month commitment. Had the contract terms been clearly communicated and confirmed verbally, I would not have agreed to this plan. I have also emailed the club multiple times regarding this issue, but I have not received any reply, despite Jetts usually responding promptly. The lack of communication has left me feeling ignored and very upset.

Fantastic experience: Nice and quiet, doesn't stink and bathrooms very clean. Staff are wonderful and friendly. Machines in working order (hate it when half the Machines are buggered at other gyms)

Positive experience: I def liked this one it's a big one spaced out so you don't feel cramped and the showers are by the front door so I just creep in to use em....

Negative experience: Took me into traffic an the long way around Google map just wants to waste your petrol

Fantastic experience: I have been part of jetts for 4 weeks now. I love that I can go at a time that suits me. The machines even have instructions on them..which is super helpful. The cost is very reasonable with no joining fees. Im still finding my way, but im loving it.

Positive experience: Great little gym. Stewart is the guy that is there during the day and keeps the gym clean, listens and advises you on how to achieve results. Only lost 1 star as the carpark can be awkward to get in and out during busy busy times on the road.

Positive experience: Use Jetts in Palm Nth Napier and Petone. Easy access and consistently the equipment works well and friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: Very kind staff with spotless equipment. Only comment I can make is the lack of free barbell (vs 2 well maintained Smith machines) might put off some picky customers. Otherwise I will be making it a point to choose Jetts over any other NZ gyms based on my experience in Palmerston North.

Positive experience: Very friendly staff let us trial the gym for a day. Thanks. Only minor issue was the optical trainer a bit "clunky". Other than that, great gym.
