Fantastic experience: My stay in Taupo housesitting for friends for 8 weeks meant I was on the lookout for a good gym. I turned 60 this year and mad on tramping and all things fitness. Silhouette exceeded my expectations!!! I generally would not opt for an all women's gym to be honest BUT , Silhouette delivered on so many levels. Friendly , knowledgeable staff with buckets of energy. From energetic spin classes , functional weight group classes, boxing to music to pilates. The group classes were exceptional. My visiting weekly fee was worth every $$ I paid. The women at the gym were genuinely friendly and so helpful. Coffees after classes enabled me to meet some extraordinary women. A special thanks to Rachael, Jude, Leanne, Renee , Haylee ,Pare(thanks for being so patient and helping a very technically challenged nanny join up lol)and Rachel- my 8 weeks with you girls was awesome. I look forward to returning in the future. All the best for the future Silhouette- Taupo womens health is in good hands.

Positive experience: Staff is always amazing. Love what they provide in the bathroom, and the gym is never full so equipment is always available,love that it's 24hr, but the showers always feel dirty. I don't like going at night cause i feel so exposed from the windows, and i dont like how my back is turned and how we open the door after hours, i feel unsafe and vulnerable, wish it was faster and easier getting in. the equipment is in need of an update. Some buttons inside the suna are missing, so took me a wjile to figure out how to turn on, I pay 26 a week, and I only use the equipment, there should be a cheeper payment option for members that just want to use the equipment. If your starting out, it's perfect, but I will be moving to a more updated gym once I feel more comfortable or get bored of the equipment that's available.

Positive experience: Loved this gym when I was there!! Such supportive trainers and members! Lovely atmosphere. Just wish it was a little more affordable. Even the student membership isn’t affordable realistically. Otherwise perfect place. Cannot recommend enough!!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Silhouette Fitness, before starting this gym I had a meet and greet with Jude, despite being busy she had the time to show me around and explain exactly what I wanted to know. this made me feel very comfortable from the get go. So I joined After all first impressions count! I had an induction with one of the trainers and a plan made by another which was instructed by a professional, highly knowledgeable Leanna Le. She had read my notes from my induction and taken all into consideration she came up with a plan that work personally for me. She was very helpful and reassured me when doing the workouts after she showed me if I was doing them correctly and if not she would guide me in the right direction. This made me comfortable and confident to then go off and do these on my own. The classes are fun, upbeat and most of all NOT intimidating at all. The Class instructors are very friendly and helpful, not only them but the attendees too, which makes it even more of a lovely place to be and train. So thank you Silhouette
