Flex Fitness Pyes Pa 24 Hour Gym

Fantastic experience: Thank goodness for the feature of having access to all Flex Fitness locations in the country! I was in the Tauranga area after a morning of hiking, needed to stop by to take a shower. The showers/bathrooms are impeccable! So clean and well maintained, spacious and ventilated. I wish I had time to fit in a quick work out! Next time! Staff are so kind and friendly, too! Wish my home base gym was this spotless… Thank youuu!

Negative experience: Tamera the gym acting manager was very pleasant to talk to. Unlike the owner Steriod Popeye gets wound up rather quickly. I paid $30 cash for an access key and now my gym membership has expired being on ACC I was informed by my Physiotherapist across the road from this gym that on completion of my membership which I only used one session for a 6week membership. That if I return the access key I will be refunded the $30. We'll steroid popeye obviously needed my $30 to build his muscles and as he got staunch I said oh well give me the tag and il frame it then, as I grabbed it his precious fingers got caught and he told me to calm down mate. I was calm as I had my 3 children with me, my bodyguards ..... and swearing at me infront of my kids Popeye is not professional at all. I will never ever step foot in your gym again. Nice gear....ugly owner. Keep smiling Tamera your the face of this gym.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym, very tidy, good equipment, on the smaller side but has everything you need. Staff are friendly and a pleasure to deal with, you can tell they take pride in their facility and care for their members, would highly recommend to all.

Fantastic experience: I didn’t start my fitness journey here, but started to take it seriously after I joined Flex Fitness Pye’s Pa. I’ve visited nearly 20 Flex’s across the country, and this is, without question, my favourite. The equipment is always clean, in good condition, and updated regularly. The gym culture is respectful, with a welcoming environment. You meet a lot of diverse and interesting people, but no one overbearing or too show-boaty. The staff are very particular in providing great service, training, and advice; they are friendly, helpful, and professional! The size of the gym is such that you have nearly every bit of weight / training equipment you could realistically need, without feeling crowded. I liked the 1000lbs Club and wish I could have participated in another one! I’ve made some really cool friends because of this gym! All my time spent here was completely worth it I’ve moved overseas and I don’t know when I’ll be back, but when I’m in Tauranga, Flex Pye’s Pa is a stop I’m making!

I don’t normally come during the staffed hours but when I do I’m always greeted and farewelled every time with a smile by the friendly team, love how tight knit and happy they all are with each other, brings a great environment ❤️ one of my favourite places to be!

Fantastic experience: Matt & Dave are absolute lads. The new scan in method through the app would make this review significantly lower because it’s a huge pain in the ass but I can understand that it is a corporate decision.

Negative experience: Bad experience with this gym My membership was on hold and I talk with staff about hold, they told me that they would put my membership on hold until I’m not giving them my medical certificate, but still they have took some money from my account and stated : “it is pre set”, and did not refund me, however, I had close my membership forever and not gonna sign up again with this gym. You guy be careful about this thing, in other had, they have good equipments for workout, however they does not have decline bench.

Positive experience: A clean place to excercise. Mostly the equipment is free to use when it's needed. But it can get crowded before group classes happen and that space is not available.

Fantastic experience: The team at flex fitness pyes pa are incredible from the moment you walk in during your workout and walking out. They aren't just employees there they feel like great friends who go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. Would reccomend training here the equipment is nice and easy to use as well.

Positive experience: Love the aesthetic and equipment but was let down by the bathroom, no plugs for hair dryer, which was what I was expecting, coming from the Rotorua Flex which provide both a hairdryer, straightener and mini plug in heater for cold day in all of their bathrooms.

Fantastic experience: Been a member here for well over a year an love it. toilets are always clean an fresh smelling, staff are amazing an always smiling an saying hello. Gyms generally pretty tidy other than a few members who dont know how to put weights away, staff can only remind them an have so many signs up to re rack your weights when your done. Weights are easy to find an easily accessible. Overall love this gym an atmosphere an dont plan on changing anytime soon

I also love that you can use yr same key tag to swipe into other locations so when yr on holiday you dont have to stop working out! I really enjoy the classes too especially pump.
