Fantastic experience: This is a very good swimming school. After trying three different ones, I finally chose this one, where my children have been studying for over two years. The teachers and staff are friendly, the venue is warm, and there's plenty of parking. It's always improving. Recommended!

Fantastic experience: We've been swimming with our now 16 month old since she was 3 months at swimtastic. We've had the same (absolutely amazing) instructor, Helga, the entire time. She's calm, clear and considered and my daughter absolutely loves her. It has become a highlight of our week. I particularly love how carefully Helga plans the sessions around various important water skills and I can really see the physical development/ learning taking place in our bub. All whilst being fun, using singing and keeping activitues appealing at the same time. Keep up the good work!

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with the booking system, management, and customer service at this swimming school. The lack of accountability and inconsistent policies are concerning and reflect poorly on the management. It appears that different rules apply to different families, which is unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expect professionalism and consistency in service delivery. However, my recent experience has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I will not recommend this swimming school to others.

Negative experience: Communication is terrible. Online booking is bit confused and you never get a refund when mistakenly book any session. Think twice or thrice before make any bookings.

Fantastic experience: These guys are brilliant! Very competent swim instructors and the wider team are extremely friendly and helpful. We're very impressed by everything so far!

Fantastic experience: Standout facility, top tier staff, excellent coaching for youth and adults, and engaging programs. Swimtastic is a community hub—the kind of place that gathers people around a shared interest and can facilitate meaningful experiences. My family was recommended to Swimtastic 2 years ago for youth instruction. Now we’re there 5-6 days/week. After seeing the hands-on and thoughtful instruction with one of my children, we eagerly moved our other child here from a different swim school in Auckland. Instructors are well-trained, well supervised, and have helped my kids grow in confidence. Along with my kids, we’ve all significantly improved our swimming. More importantly, we’ve enjoyed the experience along the way. Strongly recommend it if you’re looking for a swim school. Other: clean and new facility; youth holiday programs; easy to use app for account management.

Fantastic experience: Update: also Rebecca C. is an absolute fairy! She manages toddlers perfectly well, balancing graciously between Fun and Learning. Such a treasure in the team! Wonderful team here and a nice clean facility. My baby goes to the baby swimming class (started at 5 months), and thoroughly enjoys it. Sophia is a superstar instructor, couldn't be better. Thank you from Alice and her happy parents :)

Fantastic experience: My 5yo son did a holiday course here and made such great progress in just a handful of lessons. He went from being unwilling to put his face in and unable to float to having fun kicking with a flutter board and trying to use his arms too. His amazing instructors were Mohammed and Jess. My 2yo also really enjoyed the baby classes.

Very helpful and efficient lady , just make me feel I have had a very right and wise choice to choose Swimtastic!

Fantastic experience: This is a great pool and they offer a lot of classes for adults and kids! The adult classes that focus around health are fun. I suggest trying the water aerobics class regardless of your age or fitness level. It’s genuinely a fun time and you work at your own pace so your heart rate can get pumping or stay low and steady. The pool itself is very clean and the staff are lovely :)

Fantastic experience: Took my 3 month old for her first swimming lesson today and was very impressed with teacher (Charlotte) and the facilities overall. Very professional and super clean. The pool is low chlorine and the building is kept nice and warm - perfect for babies. They also have plenty of showers, padded change mats and bag storage. Highly recommend if you are wanting to get your baby in the water!

Fantastic experience: My son William loves swimming and we have tried with a hand full swimming schools in Christchurch and Auckland. SwimTastic is so far the best and our absolute favorite. All coaches are amazing professional, which is hard to achieve in my opinion. They have great patience and understanding of how to guide toddlers as well as fully trained technics. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Such an awesome complex. My 12 year old loves it! One thing I noticed (as a NE teacher) was how amazing the swim coaches were with the kids! 100% wish I'd known about Swimtastic 14 years ago when we began our swimming lesson journey with our first born.

Fantastic experience: 6 am - 7 am adult fitness session is great! Can't think of a better way to start the day. Clean, modern facilities and a friendly, professional team. There's a lane for all skill levels during the adult sessions and no two sessions are the same.

Fantastic experience: It was about time I got back in the pool to improve my fitness! SwimTastic is close to home but more importantly it's a lovely clean facility. And the pool is not heavily chlorinated- I think they use salt.

Fantastic experience: High level of school now supported with a new fantastic facility! Outstanding quality of water which gives a go to all chlorine sensitive users. My son learns swimming for the third year at SwimTastic. He started without much love of water but is ready to swim every day now. That is what only quality coaching can do. Check this place out, you'll be impressed!

Negative experience: We had booked early saturday well in advance, only to find at the start of class, we were taken off the roll. It happened because they instead replaced us with "friends of", absolutely disgusted.

Positive experience: Great instructors, patient and able to individually help little swimmers even they are looking after a big group. 4 stars only because of that actually... sometimes the groups are too big and even the instructors are great, the children are not swimming as much as they could (should). Beside that, great place to learn how to swim! I definitely recommend it.

Positive experience: New pool, new location same solid lessons. Swintastic is a great centre for teaching kids to swim. The lessons range from complete beginners to young advanced swimmers. The program is well structured with kids only advancing when capable. The new pool is fantastic, with better changing facilities, larger waiting area (it can get quite crowded on weekdays), and bigger car park. My kids go and have improved slowly but surely as they progressed through the various levels. The teachers are generally very good, supportive, and treat the kids respectfully. I definitely recommend this centre for swimming lessons. Though be warned, due to its popularity (and it is very popular no matter what the other reviews here say), it is very busy during the week.

Fantastic experience: Come and see how buzzy this place is that’s a true indicator how good the lessons are. ITS PACKED. One of the best in NZ in my opinion after trying a few others. The instructors care, no shouting and they have superb senior instructors they get results.
