Fantastic experience: Excellent gym with all of the equipment (free weights + machines) you’d need. The quality of the equipment is fantastic!

Fantastic experience: This is a premium gym with high end Technogym equipment, and great floor layout with different functional rooms/areas. Definitely one of the best gyms in Wellington and absolutely worth checking out. A great alternative to Les Mills if classes aren't your jam.

The layout, the vibe, the energy - it’s all spot on.The space is beautifully put together, with wall to wall Technogym and a real sense of community. Massive shoutout to Will and Liv — not only are they fantastic operators, they’re also just genuinely awesome humans. They’ve created something special here. You can feel the pride and care they’ve put into every corner of the gym. If you live in Wellington or are just passing through, this place is a must visit. One of the cleanest, most welcoming clubs I’ve stepped foot in and I have seen a few!!!

Fantastic experience: Flex Fitness Te Aro is an amazing place to start/continue one's fitness journey. Will and Liv have elegantly fostered a fitness environment that centres around togetherness and homeliness, in contrast to other gyms wherein everything is more "mechanical" in nature. The equipment is top-tier, the cleanliness is outstanding, and the staff are always ready to support at a moment's notice.

Fantastic experience: I recently joined the gym and highly recommend it. It's clean, and the staff are very professional and friendly. The main reason I joined was the professionalism of the staff ( they are super nice and easy to talk to) . The gym is always clean and offers a great selection of trainers for personal training.I am actually doing personal training with Mo and he is amazing too !!

Positive experience: The facilities are adequate. They have two car spots only but at least they have car spots. A lovely cirl called Liz rang me and offered me a one week trial, anytime of day 10-7, at 222A Willis St. I wrote the notes down from our conversation as I always do. I go to my second day of the trial and am told no sorry it is just a one off trial. Def not what I was told by Liz! So obviously I'm confused. Won't be joining. The male staff member with dark hair who was friendly yesterday couldn't raise a smile today.

The overall aesthetic is very pleasing and is just overall a nice environment to workout in. It’s always clean and tidy and the staff are amazing in keeping it that way and interacting with members. Love it! Mo in particular has been soo helpful!

Fantastic experience: Recently, I joined this gym. They have really good membership packages. The staff is very friendly. They have a number of gym mechanics and workout equipment. The gym has bathroom facilities, including bathing and changing clothes. Also, you can get access to a locker with a padlock to use during your time at the gym. They also have member-only parking for free.

Fantastic experience: I went a few times before signing up and still love this gym. It feels warm, modern and the vibe is great. Aesthetically pleasing with the beautiful black and grey. Layout is great. Mirrors everywhere. People are friendly. Staff at the front desk go above and beyond and genuinely care. My favourite parts are the streching area, functional, and the space for legs. Love! Great gym guys.

Fantastic experience: I’ve loved being a member at Flex Fitness Te Aro and I would definitely recommend the club to anyone looking for a gym in central Wellington! The parking is such an asset for me and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. All of the equipment is new and clean and the bathrooms are awesome too. Overall great gym experience!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this gym since June and absolutely love it. The owners, Liv and Will, have done a fantastc job. The layout is constantly evolving, with new equipment and well thought out tweaks happening all the time. The staff are super friendly and helpful, especially the owners and Mo, and it's a great environment to be in. I go during the day and at weekends, and have never had an issue with it being too crowded. It's immaculately maintained, with a high level of cleanliness. Highly recommend!

Easy location on Willis street and plenty of parking in the area. Flex is an all-round top tier gym with a nice community feeling, and I love the black aesthetic!

Fantastic experience: Came to this Flex on our trip to Wellington. The gym is nice and clean. The equipment is modern and well taken care of. Only "fault" was that it was rather warm inside.

Their PT Mo is great, he truly emulates the fitness lifestyle, and the owners are a Ray of sunshine! I recently moved from the US, looking for a gym found this one to be the best priced, best welcoming, and very central without the fuss of CBD congestion. Anyone travelling best find a flex gym they're found in all Major NZ cities. Also, you get access to all the premium Flex gyms in the country.
