Fantastic experience: I am a very shy person so coming to the gym is out of my comfort zone, this place makes it feel like a second home. All staff members are always so welcoming, willing to help you and very knowledge. The environment is clean and a lot of equipment for all fitness levels. The AF app is also so up to date, it also helps motivate you and your goals. Happy I joined this gym and their team.

Fantastic experience: Been signed up at this gym for over a year. Great atmosphere, new & good range of equipment & staff are lovely. I see the trainers working their PT sessions and they are always so friendly. Highly recommend this gym. I’m also a flight attendant so it’s great to be able to have access of the Anytime Fitness gyms around the world

Lastly this would have to be the cleanest gym the staff are consistently vacuuming and sanitising the equipment then at night the cleaners are scrubbing the floors down. Never seen a more well maintained gym, all the equipment and machines function perfectly and the gym is always spotless. Great gym!

Fantastic experience: Lots of equipment and machines, very clean and well maintained. Staff are so friendly as well! Free onsite parking can be a bit tricky especially during rush hour but there’s plenty of parking elsewhere to choose from. :)

Fantastic experience: I've been a member since the club opened, and it's always had a great atmosphere. People are sufficiently sociable (such that you can have a little chat between sets if you want to), but not so much that you're being interrupted. During peak times (early morning before work starts, between during commercial lunch hours, and after school) it can get busy, but you're never having to wait for machine use. Almost everyone is happy to work in with you. Gear is great; wide selection of machines that, at least to me, seem top of the line. Club is well-maintained and clean, and the staff are excellent. Personal trainers are super nice people as well, and all seem very knowledgeable and passionate about their clients. I personally see Hikaru from time to time, and he's a champ. All in all, an excellent gym. Couldn't recommend more!

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic setup! New equipment, great staff, with consistent clean bathrooms and facilities! Would highly recommend..... but don't want to encourage too many, or may get too crowded For the price you pay, this is 1 of the better places to do what you need! Well done team!

Fantastic experience: The customer service at Newmarket anytime fitness is incredible- even helped me with an issue not related to their branch with a can-do attitude and thinking outside the box. Very helpful and professional I’d recommend them 100% if you are in their area to choose them as you regular!

Positive experience: So I signed up for a 7 day free trial Positives • Brand new equipment and gym so nice and clean and everything is in working order • As the currently have minimal members it's quiet and you can get on the equipment you need • Staff are friendly and welcoming Negatives • Parking situation is a nightmare - this gym will probably only work for you if you live or work in walking distance • The weights equipment is very limited so if you are an advanced trainer you won't have everything you need for a full workout (it is a very small space) • Once they have more members its going to be difficult to use the equipment you need during peak times • The PTs there look like they need a PT themselves - I would never pay to train with them Needless to say I did not end up joining - they are going to have a tough time competing with City fitness and Les Mills. The anytime fitness in ellerslie has a lot more equipment so at least if you get a membership you can use other clubs.

Have to give this gym, and branch, in particular, top marks in providing fellow gym goers a cost effective and careless option to choose from when comparing to the other gyms in the area. Anytime Fitness Newmarket run it smoothly and they provide all the facilities you need. Having been a member of many other gyms within the Auckland Central area, I was happy to move ship to a place that has all the equipment needed to hit those summer fitness goals. Upon becoming a member theres the added bonus of free car-parking onsite as well as hands on advice from trainers around the clock. Would highly recommend to any other prospective gym goers who have been offline to check this one out as it ticks all the boxes and makes working out a breeze! A+++

Tried other gyms (won’t name and shame) but AF Newmarket is where I’ve felt most comfortable and I’ve been able to get into a routine finally with the gym. Never too busy and lots of friendly faces. Super clean and tidy always and so much choice for equipment, and all brand new too! Definitely would recommend :)

Fantastic experience: Recently signed up for gym membership here. One of the best gyms I have been to so far! This gym has a wide variety of machines and weights, and are not too crowded, which means you usually don't need to wait before using the machines. This gym is open 24/7, ideal for people who are working nightshifts, and the staff are very helpful.

Fantastic experience: Easily the best gym I've been to. Aside from the impeccable cleanliness and top of the line machines, it's just generally got a nice vibe to it. Everyone's just doing their thing but at the same time they are very friendly especially the staff and PTs. I hate feeling uncomfortable at a gym due to not being the most experienced but there's no judgement just nice helpful people.
