Fantastic experience: Great facilities, I've had smiles from front counter every time I come in, so no problems there! In peak Busy gym and if machines are not available than there are alternative (free weights). I would ask flexNZ to review their underage policy, I'm a responsible dad that is trying to keep my kids moving and not stuck on tech. I would rather be stuck in a Flex Gym than at home. Keep up the great work flex, I've been a member of other similar gyms - Flex has far been the best I've been involved with.

Fantastic experience: Switching to this gym was one of the best decisions I've made. The facility is brand new and extremely well maintained. New equipment is brought in regularly where needed and what is in place covers all needs. All the machines work well and the free weights are neatly organized. The extra space from the "skills athletic" room means that there are plenty of racks in between classes and provides a comfortable area to do bodyweight or mat work. The staff themselves are all friendly and approachable, and it's clear that the owner Stephanie has a passion for fitness, and continues to make excellent decisions to make the gym a better place for its members (like opening up the skills athletic room for free use between classes). This gym is one of the more expensive options nearby, but it is far and away the best place to work out that I have found anywhere in New Zealand. I cannot reccomend it enough.

Negative experience: Nice new gym, equipment is top quality. Though the functional side is not to my liking. Having bench and squat downstairs didnt work for me as I needed the dumb bells that were upstairs. Didn't find it welcoming as well, my first time in the club and not one staff member had a smile on their face towards me. I may have caught them on a bad day but your job should be to welcome everyone. You dont get 5 stars due to the staff not being welcoming and also the flow of the gym. However the equipment is still quality. Botany will always be my gym. Thank you for your response, looking back i dont recall a smile but again I could be wrong. I asked my son who was the person in question about his key tag and he doesn't recall a smile too. However he remembers the thumbs up and there was no issue with that. When we came in I always say hello with a smile which to be fair I did say first. Don't recall the response so if he did then I didn't hear it. All the best as Flex gyms are still quality gyms. Just only my experience. Will change my star rating as I know I will come back again.

Positive experience: Turned around from trying out the gym because I said I am not looking to sign up soon. Response: Thanks for your reply. I requested to do a trial with the gym, for the potential of joining the gym in the future. But I was rejected as I said I am not looking to join "soon" and the only way I can try out the gym was to pay for a casual visit.

Positive experience: Gym equipment and facilities are all well maintained and cleaned. It also has one of the best range of equipments amongst the Howick area gyms. Wish it had more cable stations though but this is not a major concern. One thing to improve would be how friendly the staff are. I've been a member for a while and still don't feel so welcome or comfortable around them. The ladies do try but the male staff especially tend to just ignore you or offer an artificial nod or forced smile as you walk in or leave. When you approach them about something, they are kinda curt. Hope they work on this to create a friendly approachable atmosphere. Otherwise a great gym for a good workout.

Fantastic experience: I recently joined Flex Fitness howick and have been so impressed. Stephanie made me feel welcome from the get go and it was so great getting to chat to Erica on sign up and getting a formulates work out plan. The equipment is the best I've seen in Auckland and it's never too crowded to not be able to use it.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely had a fantastic experience at Flex Howick. I love the facility and the staff that I encountered were all fantastic and very helpful. I am currently still shopping around for potential gyms in the area and cimpletinf my due diligence for what my options are. Flex is by far the front runner at this point in time and I am heavily leaning towards joining in the next week or so.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best gym in Auckland, new equipment and friendly staff I highly recommend this awesome gym. The sauna and en-suite bathrooms are the perfect way to finish a session at the gym.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Flex Howick since it first opened and love the quality and wide range of machines and equipment available.
