Fantastic experience: Fitzone Te Aroha: I had my doubts as to whether I would be comfortable in a gym, but I am thoroughly enjoying the experience. The staff are friendly, the classes welcoming, and the instructors are really good at what they do. I am enjoying being part of a vibrant and down-to-earth community and am feeling much better for the experience. Also, a shout out to the top-notch personal training I am receiving. You know who you are. Much appreciated.

Negative experience: Inconsiderate with the music especially after 10 pm at extremely loud and it doesn’t matter how many times I’ve called I’ve now gone to the council
Fantastic experience: Have been coming here while on holiday in town, seems like a really nice community gym. Friendly staff, tidy setup, and well equipped at a good price for visitors. Between here and the mountain you've got everything you need.

Positive experience: Not fab. Old gear, some staff are interested but most aren't. Only go here as there is nothing else in town.
Negative experience: So run down. Reminds me of a gym you see on prison movies. $12 for a casual rate, considering the state of this gym $12 is far too expensive. 10/10 wouldn't recommend. Next time im in Te Aroha i would probably travel to Morrinsville. Te Aroha deserves better.
Kia ora, sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your experience. The average industry standard for casual rates, varies from $15 to $30 depending on the service. The $12 rate covers access to the gym for the whole day, we feel this is a fair rate to access our facility, you get access to the Gym, Classes and the Sauna for $12. The gear isn't brand new but it has changed hundreds of lives in Te Aroha for the better we love our community we charge what we charge to stay open and keep offering our town a place to make a positive change to their life style. We also offer state of the art technology, we have a Body Scanner, Myzone heart tracking technology and our own Fitzone app. We also are staffed more often and longer then any other gym in the area we put a lot of our resources into hiring great locals to provide that human touch point that a lot of gyms with the flashiest gear don't provide. Te Aroha deserves the best of everything and we are trying our hardest to give it a great health and fitness experience. I would suggest popping back in and having a chat with our staff and trying out a free week of fitness Im pretty sure you will find out its a lot better then any gym in any prison movie. Negative experience: No disrespect to the fitzone team and staff. The culture you have with the members is 5 stars. I am giving it a 1 star only because the gym equipment facilities available have let them down. As membership numbers increases its hard to get in a workout with the equipment you need, so I constantly leave and come back at another time in the day to train because I dont want to annoy other members during their work out. I know some Paeroa members would agree as they commute to Te Aroha because of this. Like I say no disrespect to fitzone they have a awesome culture and staff. I'm still a member

Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend Fitzone enough, they have helped me change my whole life around! They have been a great support throughout my weightloss journey of 20kgs so far. I can always count on them to have my back. My zone belts are now at fitzone so come along and sign up to get your belt. They are amazing and helped me throughout my journey.
