Positive experience: Don't like the new layout

Fantastic experience: Been to most city fitness in christchurch since the upgrade this one is the best! So good having windows will a view especially sunrise and sunset

Fantastic experience: Can't go wrong. Best gym this side of town. Some new equipment and opened up the upstairs.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym I have been going here for two years and while i haven't spoken a word to just about anyone due to crippling anxiety the atmosphere is amazing and everyone so friendly and helpful to many times have I seen someone help a new comer with new exercises or form or someone has jumped in to help someone on bench press when they didn't have a spotter, as someone who is extremely anxious and self-conscious I can say this is one of the least busy and friendly gyms you can come to and there are always trainers around to give you a hand if you need it, not to mention the bathrooms are spotless besides the occasional naked man walking around without a towel haha I kid but I highly recommend this gym for new comers and anyone looking to make that change in their lives

Fantastic experience: I miss you CityFitness Northwood. You spoilt me with your wide range of equipment and dont even get me started on how much i miss the recovery rooms. The gym's in Australia don't even come close Also to any new comers, I highly recommend Jordan as a PT! He did wonders for my self-esteem and overall confidence in my abilities. He even helped me work around and improve a old knee injury.

Fantastic experience: Great facility. There's a nice outdoor area for doing your own CrossFit type workouts. Very airy with strategically placed fans. Solid weight area with multiple racks & benches. Easy to use machines without having to bump into people. Convenient to Northwood with healthy food options for post workout meal or grocery shopping. Esquire's is next door for a post workout coffee or keto friendly snack.

Fantastic experience: Stopped by today for a single session (I'm visiting from Aus). I was blown away by the friendliness of staff, such a welcoming attitude. The facilities are very modern and there's also plenty of equipment so that you don't have to wait. Will definitely be returning! ✅

Fantastic experience: Good gym has almost everything you need. Try avoid the busy times as it can be unbearable.

Fantastic experience: I was pleasantly surprised about this gym. Men's changing rooms were clean and looked fresh and new bar the showers. Little less space than morehouse city fitness but I was able to do my workout with ease without waiting for any of the equipment.

Positive experience: Great price. $6.99 per week, no classes though. Need to upgrade for classes at 14.99 per week Best check to see if I am right though . Enjoy the convenience of being close to home

Negative experience: Been at this place for years. The atmosphere, trainer's value for money and equipment availability during evenings have degraded a lot as the price went down. Yes, it's cheap, good for people on low budget.

Fantastic experience: Only recently changed to this gym and it's much busier than I'm used to at my previous gym. There is plenty of equipment and a huge range of personal trainers to choose from. With the great pricing I'm happy I changed.
