Fantastic experience: Lovely gym, sweet owner and great equipment. Everything you need really, free weights , cables, benches, machines etc. There is even a strongman training area outside and a vending machine with proteïn shakes.

Fantastic experience: Great training spot before heading to Milford Sound. Well equipped with various machines with a kind owner. 20 NZD for drop-in. Really love this place!

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a gym along the road from Milford to Queenstown and decided to try 521 Fitness in Te Anau. What I found was, hands down, the best gym I’ve come across in years! It offers an unmatched range of equipment — from machines and free weights to cardio gear and strong(wo)man implements. Since some of the equipment is outdoors, you also get to enjoy the stunning views of the region. Who would’ve thought a simple gym session could turn into a travel highlight!

Fantastic experience: Epic oldschool gym with everything you need except showers. From machines to calisthenic and cross fit equipment to even an outdoor area. Cool owner keeping it real and a reasonable 15$ drop in. Absolutely recommended if you want a real gym vibe!

Fantastic experience: Super Fitnessstudio, wenn an auf Reisen ist und ein Workout machen möchte. Nicht sehr neu, aber alle Geräte da die man braucht. 15 Dollar für einmal trainieren fand ich fair. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Fantastic experience: Best gym around! For someone passing through, it has everything you need. It is open/warehouse style so you get the mix of grunge and training which I personally like a lot. There are plenty of free weights to get your workout in. There are machines too - I wouldn’t say all of them are in great condition but I’m sure they’d get the job done. Day pass is $15 - make sure to call the phone number listed or else you won’t be able to get in

Positive experience: Really cool set up, huge warehouse style gym, heaps of different equipment & machines. Older gear but lots of variety of equipment. 24 hour gym, non manned.

Fantastic experience: Not your modern city type gym, and the equipment isnt the newest, but its a complete and clean gym with everything you need. Perfect if youre a traveller and want to get a decent work out done.
