Negative experience: Being new to the area, I came into this store not knowing how large it was. The experience from one end to the other was below poor. Entering one side teenage girls just gossiped while I was trying to look for something. Other side when I was looking at dr martens the experience was below poor from senior people in the store. I asked for help and I got looked up and down by the lady and a cold response where she turned away before I could ask my next question. Won't be back if this is the environment this place allows

Negative experience: I had to go to the shoe clinic has I am having severe pain in my feet to get sized etc and advice as had been referred by my podiatrist. They were fantastic and helpful. I brought pair of asics and thought now I know what size shoe etc I'll pop into Kelly's and grab another similar shoe knowing it would be cheaper. Yes I had a shoe clinic carry bag obviously and I heard loud and clear when I was walking through oh look at that a shoe clinic bag how rude from the stuck up sales women. Maybe if you had managed to unplug the pedestal from your rear end to offer to help you would of had a sale. Now YOU sales women are the rude ones

Fantastic experience: Lovely comfortable shoes. Great quality. A pair i bought a year ago and have worn a lot show absolutely zero wear on the soles or the shoes themselves. Have been in twice recently and had excellent service from Robyn and Elaine. Recommend Kelly's

Fantastic experience: I have been buying sport shoes from Kelly's since my children were young, over 25 years. Staff are always helpful and supportive. I no longer live in Palmy but still buy my walking shoes at Kelly's. I recently rang to report a problem I had with some New Balance shoes. Even though they were out of the New Balance warranty, the woman I spoke to was very helpful and even sent me a product to remedy the problem free of charge. Absolutely outstanding service.

Fantastic experience: Februay 2023 A great shop to visit when you are looking for footwear. Really nice displays of well known brands with some really good discounts off the list prices. Whether you are looking for dress shoes, casual, sport or just a pair of comfortable slippers, you should check out Kellys range and their staff are very helpful too.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service! I spent all morning yesterday searching for a specific pair of running shoes in NZ. No one had them in my size, then finally I came across Kelly's Footwear. I found them on the internet, phoned to check they were the right shoes, and less than 24hrs later here they are; arrived via courier this morning. In addition, the shoes were $25 less than other stockists (who did not have my size anyway) and there was no charge for delivery. Thank you Kellys from one very happy customer.

Staff were very helpful and super-friendly, and when I had to get kids rugby boots they made sure they fitted correctly and chatted to the children too when lots of shops just ignore the children. Good pricing on top label rugby boots too!

Fantastic experience: If you're looking for sports gear in Palmerston North, I'd suggest here before anywhere else. They stock slightly older stock as well as current stock which is good for variety. They don't have big sales but staff are more than willing to help. They offer Lay-buy if you can't afford the goods immediately.
