Anytime Fitness Taradale

Negative experience: When my friend first showed me the gym via video call I was so excited to sign up and become a member. However when every time I come there during staffed hours, the person on duty is never there. This is very disappointing for me, because I have tried to meet with them for the past two weeks now. But they are never there, no matter what time I stop by the gym. I want to share this because I know that this is a problem for others as well. There were other reviews about this issue and I think the owner should know that the staff they are paying isn’t even present during the hours they are getting paid.

Fantastic experience: I've been here for a few weeks now and it's been good so far I have no complaints the staff are kind and polite and fellow gym goers are nice too.

Fantastic experience: New member here, and it's been awhile since I've been to a gym, last one was Les Mills Auckland Central, and prior to that Ocean Spa. It's been very comfortable getting back into a routine and I love the simplicity of this Gym. I use the app to work out too and Ruby was great to deal with when signing up. Lauren has created 2 great work outs for me, that showed me she understood what I wanted to achieve. Of your scared of the gym environment, give this place a shot.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this gym ,the staff are absolutely fantastic especially Ruby and Kadi ,they are always friendly if you need them .Lauren the personal trainer is amazing as well! Rate this gym a 10/10 absolutely wonderful!!!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this gym. I was way out of my comfort zone when I joined and the staff and the other members have gone out of their way to help me when I've needed it it, and made me feel really comfortable here. I really enjoy the environment, and the equipment is modern , and well maintained, and if you are looking for a personal trainer, Lauren from Impact Heath and Fitness is very highly recommended.

Negative experience: would've been a great gym if there wasn't a guy casually smoking and hogging all the dumbells

Negative experience: For a gym that's twice as dear as city fitness you'd think hygiene would be better no soap in showers city fitness does and not toilet paper in any of the toilets real bad look if people from outta town wanna train here recorded a video to show them just disgusting that hygiene not important here

Positive experience: Good location, well equipped and friendly staff. It is a small place and sometimes gets too busy.

Negative experience: Lousy music, cleaning paper always out of stock, equipment out of order and lots of new rules coming out. Worst experience of all time. Pretty useless response

Negative experience: They made it incredibly difficult to cancel a membership and carried on billing me even after I emailed for them to cancel. Had to physically go into the gym to find the attendant (who isn't there half the time). Also, you might as well keep your key after canceling as you never get your $50 back even if you bring your key back. They said that the key was "A purchase" and not a deposit but they still want the key back. Family that went there a year or so ago got the key money back but they returned it but apparently now "Anytime Fitness had decided not to do that now" It's a shame since the gym itself is actually really nice but canceling and dealing with the actual membership caused so many problems. Would not recommend

Negative experience: Ongoing problem with highly offensive music at this gym which management seem unable or unwilling to address. Many people wear headphones to try and drown it out. Very poor. Looking for an alternative after making multiple requests to sort the issue out. Others I've spoken too say they won't be back.

Positive experience: Small clean gym. Quite convenient. But the WiFi here sucks. Can't even the anytime fitness application itself. It could use a few more machines. Some of the equipments are worn out and needs a replacement.

Fantastic experience: Good place to workout when Sophie's about. She keeps it clean, happy and makes sure your alright. I like the music choices she plays and she has a great respect for the clients, workplace and her colleagues. Anytime Taradale has great equipment, powerful showers and good storage cubes. A nice place to lose weight, gain muscle and become more energized!
