Negative experience: This place is absolutely terrible! My car was blocked by other members of the gym. I asked the staff to get the owner to move the car, and he said I had to ask people one by one in the gym and saying this was not his responsibility. I had to wait nearly 1 hour in the car.

Negative experience: I was a member with Jetts for 3 years. I'm planning to move overseas so sent Jetts an email to ask what my cancellation notice period is for my membership. A week later I hadn't received any response so sent a follow-up message. Another week passed and I received a reply stating I would need to give 2 weeks notice if I want to cancel. Shortly after this when I went to Jetts for a workout, I found my key tag didn't work anymore and when I asked why was told my membership was cancelled. To have my membership restated I had to send another email and again it was another 2 weeks before I received a response from Jetts. By this time I'd had enough of Jetts' incompetence so I didn't reinstate my membership. Only join Jetts if you don't mind crowded gyms and terrible customer service.

Fantastic experience: love the place all the equipment if first class
Fantastic experience: Can't speak highly enough about this place nice clean facilities, great space for training, with a great set of trainers that work from this venue.
Negative experience: Jetts is a gym with bad service and uses greedy methods to get your money. Firstly, missing a payment occurs a hidden fee of $20+, which happened unexpectedly when I was just transferring money between accounts. No warning. Secondly, it is impossible to cancel my membership through the website, Jetts forces you to contact customer support. How is this a good idea? This annoys users and increases the business cost of having to hire more customer support resource. Thirdly, they make you pay for 2 more weeks before you're allowed to fully cancel. Anyways, because of these methods they impose, I have transferred to a competitor gym.

Negative experience: Absolutely bad service, I am not able to go to gym for a while but still taking my money from my account. Emailed to their customer service and only thing they replied is "based on terms and conditions blah blah blah", please rememer it's me who pay the fee. Please be a human, not robot just follow the rule. Be kind and considerate

Fantastic experience: My favourite gym since moved in Albany 6 years ago. Super friendly, kind and helpful staff and good facilities.
Fantastic experience: One of the biggest Jetts on the North Shore, a lot of parking spaces. It offers three squat racks, range of free weights, functional training section, cardio and weight training machines and a decent size boxing room. A good place to be with very affordable price.
Fantastic experience: Very clean and Tiny. It could be a bit of people but most of all great. Space is huge . Staffs here are very friendly .
Positive experience: I have visited this Jetts gym a few times on the 3-day free trial. It is a very small gym with about 6 treadmills, showers, free weights, machines, and some other fitness equipment. The gym is always very clean and there is usually a staff member to help you out. There are currently a couple of machines out of commission and waiting for repairs. The restrooms which also contain a shower get very wet and the toilet gets pretty wet too. Additional notes: Parking on site.. FREE WIFI, vending machine available selling energy drinks (about $6 a can), some protein snacks, and water. Wifi password is jettsgymalbany

Negative experience: Nothing against the gym but they make up fake fees and charge you extra for no reason. Debit success is a unhelpful service and claim that payments get bounced and charge you an additional $10 without even letting you know even if you have money in your account to do so when the payments goes out. If you try to dispute it jetts just tell you to deal with them and offer no help at all and say you will be refused entry at the gym if you do not pay the extra fee. I will be cancelling my membership as this is the second time they have charged me claiming my payment bounced when I had the funds. Do not recommend and jetts were not helpful at all in the situation.

Positive experience: Bigger gym then wairau but I don't enjoy the empty space as much, as always jetts still has an amazing roster of staff.
Negative experience: Really bad service. We only can cancel our memberships through email, but no one reply my mail and they just take money from customers.

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking service. They have changed the terms of me using the gym, refuse me entry, and have taken a cancellation fee out of my account. I asked for them to reconsider the fee given that they have said I am unable to use their services and they have blatently refused. I will be telling everyone I know not to ever use Jetts.

Positive experience: Bigger than Jetts Long Bay and Browns Bay with excellent equipment. However I've decided to find one that is child friendly due to their recent change to their policy around children.
Fantastic experience: The best and biggest jetts gym I’ve been to! A lot of space and equipments which allows members to constantly do their workout ! Hopefully they get a stair master cause that will be bomb
Fantastic experience: It was my first time at Albany and I loved it I didn't want to leave but I had to go to an appointment afterwards. I have a new job out that way end of the month so I was trying it out although I will be training at 6 a.m. when I start my new job but I loved it and I know that I will thrive there and get back into shape and I can't wait it has a very good feeling there
Fantastic experience: Super big workout area which is great in terms of not being crowded, although the equipment arrangement is quite strange... could just be me. Really good A/C, keeping the room really cold at firat, but just right as you work out.
Negative experience: Terrible customer service. How can you charge the customers member fee if they are not allowed to enter the gym?! I didn’t upload my Vaccine pass cuz I don’t think it’s safe to come to gym at this stage, and due to your policy I don’t have the access to your gym by my member card. But you still charge money from my account from the day we started to use traffic light system. It’s NOT a right way to do your business JETTS

Positive experience: I've been a member of Jetts Albany since Oct 2020. Generous parking space, always welcome staff, 5 shower facility. clean interior and machine. only 1 thing I've given 4 stars is if 3 shower has been used at the same time water pressure is noticeably weak.

Negative experience: If you are safety conscious in this pandemic area you would have very serious concerns about the multitudes of members letting in groups of friends during unstaffed, and even staffed hours.
Negative experience: Customer service is unprofessional, unhelpful and trying to take money from clients in unacceptable way. I had requested to onhold my membership during 2rd lockdown in Auckland because I was afraid of gathering group of people. I was surprised in the way the team responded to me at first asking why I wanted to on-hold and threaten me by their 12-week rule of onhold. That just showed me monetary-oriented business of Jetts (in negative way) and carelessness for community health while I was trying to follow government Covid announcement. I emailed back explaining my concern about health and was not happy in the way they respond to client's request in search sensitive time, I decided and asked to cancel my membership. They did not cancel my membership as requested but instead put my membership onhold - which was NOT my final request and decide to reactive my membership months later WITHOUT getting any permission or confirmation from me. Jetts then deducted money from my old bank on the date they re-activated (by their own obviously) and because it is closed bank (lucky I closed my old bank otherwise they will take money from my old bank without my permission), they were not able to do that. Today they called me in very "rude" way asking me to pay while I explained and sent them my cancelation request email months ago. They tried playing around, and threatening me to pay the amount from the date activated to today and will bring to debt collector. They also said they emailed me to notify about that amount and I asked them evidence because I check of emails from Jetts in my mailbox, there is nothing. It did not surprise me when it takes time for them to respond to my evidence request because they definitely did not send any to me. They then came back saying I signed up with wrong email, they were not sent to my email, so its my fault and I have to pay. OMG!! Its so REDICULOUS when I read that email. They definitely made up that because on the date I signed up, I got an email from them in my mailbox to congratulate starting with Jetts. I told them from clients perspective, I feel totally UNFAIR when firstly they did not process my request properly, Secondly they reactived and tried to deduct money from my old bank without my membership, thirdly they did not notify and contact with me in their first attempt to deduct money but accumulated to certain amount then asked client to pay for that. They are totally losing their reputation in my mind and I am now regretting to refer my friends to their gym. They are trying to take money from client via unacceptable and unfair way to client. Dont even deserve one star, haft star. You will never get money from me but lose your value, your reputation, your brand.
Positive experience: Good gym has what you need plenty of cardio equipment has 2 power racks to squat and bench in also has 2 Smith machines and a dedicated dumbbell area plenty of other equipment also has showers and toilets

Negative experience: Bad service, i went through the doors with my buddy one night and Jets sent me a threatening email saying I will be charged $199 and my account would be terminated next time for not using my swipe card even though they clearly knew I have a membership since they recognised me on the cameras. I didn’t even forget my swipe card that night I just went through the doors at the same time as my friend and thought nothing of it. Obviously this company just wants to charge their clients as much money as they can rather that kindly informing customers of the overly strict rules.
