Jetts Remuera

Negative experience: The jetts remurea is not well maintained. All the machines have issues. They bought some new machines branded Matrix , they are good. But all the other ones (80%) have pieces falling apart and it has been months than the machines are getting deteriorate. I go there as I m busy and it's the closest gym but looking to something better. If they fix the machines I m happy to change the review.

Positive experience: Simple gym. No flashy equipments but enough for a good pump.

Fantastic experience: As an “elder statesman” I love that Jetts and their clientele are not ageist. It’s taken me a lifetime to make a commitment to an exercise regime and the atmosphere at the Jetts gyms I frequent have been a huge part in helping me maintain that commitment. No matter how old or young you are, you’re worth the time and effort to be the best version of yourself you aspire to be.

Negative experience: There payment arrangement system suck so bad. They will lure you in somehow if you change your card or something it is hard to pay. And panality over panality. It is so hard to change anything. Debt success is worst company to they use to take payment. 2 years experience. If you life is busy don't use them.I would not recommend anyone to use Jetts there are many better options available. Never make any contract with them. You will regret.

Fantastic experience: I booked my first session with PT Sandy Younes recently and had a great experience. From when I signed up right throughout the session she was friendly, attentive and was quick with communication. She had the plans all prepared when I arrived and walked me through each step at my own pace. She constantly checked I was feeling ok and ensured I was feeling the exercises in the right places. I would highly recommend! It is very comforting to know she is around the gym and offered to help when needed.

Negative experience: The most appalling and substandard customer experience I’ve ever experienced since moving to NZ. The lady was uninterested and barely made any effort. Absolutely poor first impressions, didn’t even get offered a tour of the equipment or facilities but they didn’t look anything special.

Fantastic experience: great gym, convenient, clean, not over crowded, nice people, head office always quick to respond, excellent parking and affordable. Great gear, wow what more could I say...

Negative experience: I want someone to contact me immediately. I am still being charged for my membership whilst in lockdown. I have emailed and I get an automated reply. I have called and it says your offices are closed. I want you to contact me ASAP

Fantastic experience: Good things come in small packages and this place was well laid out and very tidy and clean. Give it a go nice place to train.

Fantastic experience: You cannot ask for a better crowd, better staffs, better equipment that put together nicely into one location

Negative experience: Young adults please be very careful you know what you’re entering into before signing up to a long term contract which you can only pull out from after paying an 80% cancellation fee. My son’s 18-year-old friend did this then lost his job so couldn’t pay the remainder. He was locked into a contract for 18 months and they blocked his key access while still charging him. He should have tried to negotiate with them earlier but struggled to know what to do. This kind of system traps people into debt in the case that they loose their income. I’m disappointed Jetts couldn’t help him find a better solution.

Negative experience: It's ashame that you can't get your membership refunded if you don't have a gym near by. I paid up front for 1 year and looks like they really like ripping people off. Good job corporate gym

Fantastic experience: Awesome. They really make the most out of the small place. W Gym, plus it's 24/7 Hours.

Negative experience: Facilities are very a average. My problem lies with the payment team. The team took 6 lots of $10 from my account dispite having the correct funds available. Not only that but I was not supplied a date for payment or any breakdown as such. Very disappointing as I had been a member in the past, will look at switching because the issue has not been resolved.

Positive experience: A bit small but reasonably good service (except that the music is too loud). In an era where everyone is using a mobile device with earphones I don't really understand why background music on speakers is even needed. One really good point though: I've decided to take a break from the gym and cancellation was smooth and easy (unlike some others). Won't hesitate to sing up again when I'm ready.

Fantastic experience: Recently subscribed and enjoyed a great promotion. The gym is not big but has everything you need for a proper workout. I was there during peak time lately and you can always find a machine to work on or take turns with someone else. The only black spot comes from people not cleaning after they used the machines so make sure you use a wipe before touching the equipment (especially during COVID), there are plenty of sanitizer and wipes available so people have no excuses :)

Positive experience: Reasonable gym. It has tha basics; cardio machines, weights racks etc. Fairly good value but is a fairly small space, so even a small number of people can make the place feel over crowded.

Negative experience: Horrible membership experience! Customer service never answers their phones and when you do eventually reach them they are incredibly unhelpful! They will mislead you into contractual memberships and trap you in. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH JETTS!

Negative experience: I have been trying to get my free membership reward for 2 months!! I have paid $20+ in excess payments, as my payments were declined, I contacted the company immediately to fix this and they didn’t resolve my situation! The customer service I received in Jetts Remuera was absolutely terrible, the advisor told me that ask for reward was not his department, and he ask me if I clean my company, try to compare that is not his problem. I told him that is the same company. They are really good at taking your money, but don’t seem to know anything when you need help.

Positive experience: Wouldn't recommend going there during the peak hours. You pretty much have one equipment each unless you just want a treadmill or a cycle. It's not bigger than say an apartment gym but good enough.

Negative experience: payed for a membership for a bag and a towel, 6-7 months later still no bag. guy who signed me up keeps giving me some rubbish about shipments.

Positive experience: Great gym, cheap but good equipment. Could do with some kettlebells, skipping rope, etc but is totally functional.

Positive experience: Gym could do better by fixing up the carpets near the washrooms rather then just leaving it soaked with water underneath... fix the leaks in the roof since putting a bucket shows lack of maintenance.... i also think that space at the gym is very limited surely they can make more room maybe expanding and add more gym and training equipments.... #upgrade #maintenance NEEDED !!!

Positive experience: Very small. No bench press, deadlift, seated bicep curl. The free weights area is very cramped even with not many people in it. The upside is that it’s not very busy between 5pm and 6pm (on a Monday)

Positive experience: Great gym, friendly people and fun way to start the year. New equipment and well air conditioned facilities

Fantastic experience: Great place to have a good workout. Place is very chill and has a relaxed atmosphere. Professional customer service by the guy helping me get a three day trial, but actually made it four days instead to be nice! So not only were I happy about it, I could exercise for free too!
