Negative experience: I was with Jetts beginning of the year. I emailed recently to confirm prices, I was given a price which had increased quite a bit so I called, the lady I spoke to explained to me how I could query it further. When I asked for her name she refused, I wanted her name as a point of reference. I then got hold of a lady at the branch in Glenfield she was lovely but her quote was even higher then what was emailed to me that day. I've also emailed once about a complaint and nothing was ever done. I have since found a better priced gym, with professional staff. Very disappointing

Negative experience: Should fix your phone scanning on the app. So many times I’ve been waiting outside for like 30 minutes due to the scanner not working. 30 mins wasted just standing outside is actually crazy. Otherwise a good gym anyways.

Fantastic experience: Cristian at Jetts is fantastic! As a complete newbie to the gym, I was really nervous, but Cristian has made the whole experience so much better. He’s super friendly and really takes the time to explain everything in a way that makes sense. I’m still new and haven’t seen big changes yet, but I’m already feeling more confident and excited to keep going. If you’re new to the gym, Cristian is definitely the trainer you want by your side!

Negative experience: I feel I was misled during my membership renewal at Jetts Glenfield. This is my second year at the Glenfield branch. First year, I paid upfront as it's cheaper for the whole 12 months. When it was time to renew, I went in and specifically said I want a membership that I can cancel anytime even if I have to pay more because I knew we're moving eventually. Now that it's time to cancel, they are telling me they're unable to cancel because I'm in a minimum 12-month contract and charging me a hefty amount to cancel. That does not make sense because if I wanted a minimum 12-month term, why wouldn't I just pay the entire amount upfront AND get the discount? That's what I did my first year. Why would I switch to a weekly payment AND pay more?? What's more frustrating is I can no longer reach the person I talked to when I renewed. The person at the branch just shrugged said he can't help me. I was forwarded to Jetts New Zealand who obviously does not know what I'm talking about and have no context of the situation. Also, I referred my partner to Jetts back in January and now when we move, we're both going to pay a gym membership we no longer use. Jetts is just going to keep collecting our money. UPDATE: I called them as suggested by the "owner" and nope, they still don't know what I'm talking about and couldn't help me which further validates my point.

Negative experience: Read other people's reviews especially about how difficult it is to cancel. See, when you register, you deal with actual people in the gym that are being friendly and all. But when it comes to canceling, you send an email that goes to the HQ that will say you cannot cancel your membership for various reasons.

Negative experience: I ended up falling sick and losing a lot of my mobility, my legs no longer work properly due to disability. Tried to cancel/stop my membership from renewing, I was told they couldn't do anything about it. I could either contact them again at the end of my term (didn't tell me when that was) or I could pay a hefty cancelation fee. Person on the other end didn't care at all and were very cold, but they don't mind taking my money.

Fantastic experience: Recently renovated, Jetts Glenfield is by far the best Jetts on the Shore. I received PT session from Victoria even tho I've been working out for like 2 years and I regret I should have received PT session long time ago. I see I am burning twice more calorie for same hour I spend and it actually less harsh on my body.

Negative experience: Read carefully not against any business. Fact is its Not safe for women as I see lot of unwanted members smoking and drinking outside the Jetts parking lot during unstaffed hours. My wife lost her bag while she was working out. Lost her expensive belongings like watch and everything. Staff gave us very usual reply that footage was not clear to identify who came in and took it from open lockers. Sad we had to cancel as did not feel safe as my wife was been followed till our home while she was leaving gym as well. Thank you but no thank you for not offering anything for trauma caused to us. Not good service guys not thinking customer in your heart of service. My apologies this was for Jetts Birkenhead not Glenfield.
Negative experience: So frustrating. I cancelled my membership 5weeks ago and they are still taking money out of my account and said it will take 4 weeks to refund!!! Their so called membership team is useless. Over them. Use another gym where they dont steal your money.
Positive experience: Decent sized gym to work out at. Obviously gets very crowded in the evenings, but good variety of equipment. Could do with a dedicated deadlift area and free weight squat racks

Positive experience: Update 25/7/2018 I've talked to call centre and explained again the situation and they've agreed that it wasn't right to charge that and refunded the amount. ------- A company knows how to follow it's policy when it comes to their benefit while they cannot explain why they charge you extra money. Even their complaints email not working.
