Welcome to the Oxford Rugby Football Club, a historic sports community thriving in North Canterbury since 1883. Home to passionate rugby enthusiasts, our club boasts a rich tradition of success, having secured multiple trophies, including the revered North Canterbury trophy in 2009 and 2012. This year, we celebrated our 125th Jubilee, a milestone that brought together former players and fans from afar to honor our legacy.

Our club provides an inclusive environment where players of all ages can develop their skills. We proudly support two senior teams and a strong junior program featuring 15 teams, including new under-16 and under-18 divisions. This revitalization reflects our commitment to youth development and community engagement.

At Oxford RFC, we believe in fostering camaraderie both on and off the field. Players are treated to a complimentary meal after training on Thursday nights, and we occasionally train at alternative venues in Christchurch. Our dedicated coaching partnership between Hugh Taylor and player/coach Marcus Taylor ensures our athletes receive top-notch guidance and support.

We also prioritize community building by offering club merchandise and snacks for our young players, making their experience enjoyable and memorable.
