Sarah Parry owner of So Inspired Fitness is vastly expienced at transforming mind and body. Through bespoke Personal Training, fitness Beach Camps, Pilates and nutritional lifestyle inspiration.
So Inspired Fitness (est 2007), enables Howick women and mums to refine and enhance long-term health, through a bespoke combination of exercise, nutrition, positive attitude and lifestyle strategies.
So Inspired Fitness is a community of East Auckland women, most of whom are mums, who strive to support each other through their fitness and wellness dreams. We often train at the beautiful Cockle Bay beach, Shelly Park Primary under cover (wet weather) or at my boutique home studio,
As part of the So Inspired Crew in Howick, you will thrive from our fun and welcoming beach / private boutique studio settings. All sessions are available in person, Virtual options are included if you miss a session. You will enjoy our friendly presence, ongoing support, fitness and healthy eating challenges, and encouragement from Sarah Parry, Master Trainer and Pilates Coach, as well as your fellow So Inspired Crew members.
I love the outdoors and helping people enhance their health and wellness through body movement and a full wrap-around approach using nutrition as our medicine.

Fantastic experience: Sarah is AMAZING! Not only is she extremely professional in all aspects of So Inspired Fitness but she makes all her classes super fun as well as challenging. Sarah is always offering alternative exercises for anyone struggling with sore joints etc and she also creates extra challenges for the super keen each week in the form of diet related or extra workouts. The ladies are awesome too and there are quite a few who have been with Sarah for years who have achieved amazing results! Thank you Sarah for everything you do!
Fantastic experience: I started with a 6-week challenge and was convinced I would be ready for a break after the 6 weeks. I have signed up for the next 10-week challenge and am doing extra holiday classes because I have so enjoyed the sessions and I can already see a difference in my strength, fitness and the toning of my body. I love that the classes have been outdoors and that we can be indoors if the weather is poor. I appreciate the guidance in doing each exercise correctly so that you do not injure yourself during the training session. I love the company and conversation of the other lovely ladies and varied exercises so that you are never bored. I highly recommend joining this amazing programme!

Fantastic experience: I started mat pilates with Sarah then progressed to the reformer. Primarily I started as a broader plan for my back health, and working with Sarah was instrumental. Her classes are great and a good mix of fun and challenging. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Sarah is AMAZING! So patient and helpful in her suggestions of ways I can still exercise without damaging my hip further. I first started with Sarah approx 7 years ago following hip surgery, she guided me and kept up my motivation. Sarah is so experienced not only in fitness and exercise but fabulous with healthy eating as well. Sarah makes exercising fun, inspiring and there are a variety of exercises so you don't get bored.
It's always fun having you there Marie and working around your special needs is a pleasure and you accept help so willingly. Can't wait for more years with you xx
Fantastic experience: Two years ago I signed up for So Inspired Fitness' 10 week beachcamp challenge. I was only going to do 10 weeks. I hadn't done much exercise in 10 years and the lock down snacking had made my clothes not fit too well. It been two years and beachcamp is part of my life now. My level of fitness and strength have increased dramatically. I am the healthiest I have ever been in my adult life and my jeans fit well! I love the varied classes, and how adaptable each exercise is, whether it's a modification for an injury or you are like me and want to push a little more. Clean eating has become a normal part of life. I have made so many healthy changes and I don't miss the unhealthy habits at all. Everyone is really supportive too. There is always friendly chatter, encouragement and understanding. And I love that we are often at the beach! Sunsets and beautiful waters definitely help!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Sarah's beach camp classes for almost a year now and they are great fun, with plenty of laughs and lots of hard work at the same time. The other ladies in the group are easy going and very supportive. Being held at the beach with the fresh air makes it a lovely environment (even in winter!). The workouts are varied and challenging, but the time flies and you are stretching before you know it! Sarah helps guide you without making you feel like you are doing it "wrong" which is really helpful and motivating. Joining this group is not something I would normally have done, but I am so glad I did!

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Sarah at her Beachcamps for over 5 years. In my opinion, Sarah is a master PT of not just the body but also the mind. I think that’s why I enjoy going so much - she is knowledgable, professional, caring and an inspirational person to be around. Fantastic experience: I joined Beach Camp in mid 2022 and am completing my 6th term now! I have loved the workouts which are always varied with different levels of challenge. Working out with like minded non-judgemental women is amazing. Sarah treats everyone as an individual and customises to accommodate injuries etc. Sarah’s encouragement makes a 45min session fly by. I’ve already signed up for the holidays and next term. We have fun challenges along the way. Sarah’s communication is amazing and she regularly checks in on everyone to see how they are going - I highly recommend coming to join us!

Fantastic experience: I’ve just finished my first block of Mat Pilates and already signed up for next term. I’ve never really done Pilates before but the classes are so easy to follow and Sarah is so nice and helpful when it comes to getting things right. Classes are a good size and I enjoy talking and getting to know Sarah and the other people in the class. I had been trying to get back into exercise after a long time of not doing anything and this is a perfect introduction back into it. It’s also local which is brilliant, no excuses not to go. Looking forward to next term!

Fantastic experience: Sarah and her beach boot camp are fantastic! I’ve just started exercising again since having kids and I brought my 4 month old to all of my sessions. Sarah even held my daughter during a few sessions when she got fussy! I highly recommend Sarah’s boot camps for a fun, friendly atmosphere and a great work out!

Fantastic experience: After about a 7 year hiatus from any regular fitness/cardio I joined Sarah’s Beach boot camp and Pilates reformer classes earlier this year. Prioritising my fitness is the best thing I’ve done this year. I get a great work out, have gained my core strength, balance and agility back - and after 2 terms I have noticeable improvements in both fitness and body. No more persistent shoulder/trap aches either from my desk job. Sarah’s enthusiasm, positive mindset together with an awesome group of other women, creates a really uplifting and supportive environment - being at the beach for the boot camp is such a great mood lifter too!

Fantastic experience: Sarah is amazing she always takes the time to explain how to do the exercise, continually monitors you to make sure you are ok, and explains what area the excercise is targeting. Sarah follows up with you to see how you are after the class. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: A truly amazing instructor that cares about getting you to your best health and fitness level. I started as a beginner never having done pilates before and now 18 months later I can keep up on the advance level (most days). I would recommend Sarah at So Inspired Fitness for anyone, I have struggled to find a place that worked with my personal health issues and Sarah was willing and successful at finding what worked for me specifically and safely.

Fantastic experience: Sarah has created not just a fitness class but a fitness community of people who support and challenge eachother. Fantastic experience: Throughly enjoy Sarah’s Pilates classes. I leave feeling energised and strong. Perfect balance of not being too hard that you feel you are failing at everything, but really does push you just the right amount. Good for all levels of fitness. I enjoy the small classes at her home. Always a good laugh occurs too. Outside of the class she’s also wonderful at providing advice and ideas around food. Some yummy recipes shared too! If you’re pondering, give it a shot you won’t regret it!
