Welcome to Lloyd Elsmore Skatepark, the vibrant hub of wheeled sports in Auckland, where riders from all walks of life unite to share their passion for skateboarding, scootering, BMX, and more. As a recognized charitable trust, our mission goes beyond mere skating; we are dedicated to fostering community, inclusion, and personal growth through action sports.

At East Skate Club, we proudly operate the SonSk8 Indoor Skatepark, Auckland's only full-time indoor skate facility. This state-of-the-art venue is more than just a place to skate; it's a haven for creativity, physical activity, and social connection. Our team is committed to creating real opportunities for individuals of all ages and abilities, ensuring everyone can experience the freedom and joy that skating brings.

In 2024 alone, we delivered over 2,000 hours of supervised skating, engaged more than 1,500 children through lessons and outreach initiatives, and championed inclusive practices for disabled and neurodivergent skaters. We focus on empowering young girls and gender-diverse individuals while advocating for safer public skateparks and better resources for our community.

Our services extend to community consultations, mobile skatepark setups for events, and fun days that introduce young learners to the exhilarating world of wheeled sports. Our experienced coaches are equipped to provide a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
