Fantastic experience: Appreciate the lift!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I had the chance to practice with Hamish and Margot and the rest of the team at Apollo Power Yoga during a recent visit to Christchurch. It was great to get a solid daily yoga workout covering all the bases, and to be welcomed into a community of dedicated enthusiastic like minded practitioners. We certainly felt stronger at the end of two weeks, and you will too! Big thanks!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant. Changed my life. ... update (four years on).... I have been regularly attending Apollo Power Yoga and can honestly say that my physical health, mental health, and emotional health have all been maintained by my regular practice. I have also attended three "40 days to personal revolution" programmes, and most recently a 7-day yoga intensive held at Wainui. I have been a martial arts teacher in the past, and I coach sleep clinic patients. The level of teaching reached by the instructors at Apollo under the guidance of Hamish and Margo far exceeds anything I have encountered previosly in terms of clarity, integration, and relevance. I can't speak highly enough of Apollo Power Yoga.

Fantastic experience: The yoga here is amazing. It has honestly been life changing but also can’t praise the power massages enough especially the face Endermologie treatments. I developed face acne in my mid 20’s. I had never had any issues in the past and it shot my confidence quite a lot. Nothing I tried seemed to be clearing it up. I heard that the Endermologie could possibly help. So I tried it out thinking I had nothing less to loose, within a month I noticed a huge difference and 2 months on it was basically completely gone and my skin back to normal. I was stoked can’t sing it’s praise enough has given me back a lot of confidence and made me feel more like myself. 11/10

Fantastic experience: I'm so glad I found this studio! Since joining Apollo about 3 years ago, I really feel the benefits of this style of practice. Hamish, Margo and their talented teachers want to bring the best in each of their students. You come out of class feeling so good physically and mentally it's hard not to go back!

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for almost a year and I love the teachers there. They're very supportive and are kind when giving you tips on how to strengthen your poses. They also know when to push you in a positive way where you can do things you could never do before! I absolutely recommend people to come here and i love how you can bring a friend for free for their first session.

Fantastic experience: Great, challenging, well rounded yoga. The practice offered here is consistent (which helps to see growth) while also offering enough variation to keep it interesting and fun. If you like a strong challenging practice then this is the place for you. The restore classes offer a nice balance of movement and stillness too, which is great if yin or restorative (offered elsewhere) are just too static and slow for you. Having also done the Apollo yoga teacher training, I can vouch for the high level of integrity and competence that Hamish and Margo bring to the table.

Fantastic experience: Every time I get into the studio, I walk out feeling great! The teachers get to know you and look after you in a way that helps to challenge you when you're feeling strong, keep you going when you need the nudge, or support you when you need to listen to your body and slow down. This is definitely a studio I recommend both to anyone who is a seasoned yogi, and to those who are interested in finding a place to start. Fantastic experience: Apollo yoga is one of my favourite yoga studios. Margo & Hamish create a consistent yoga experience. It's my perfect balance between ying and yang, an active workout with a relaxing stretch sequence at the end of most classes.

Fantastic experience: Hamish and Margo are wonderful, professional instructors and go the extra mile to give each person in the class a good mental and physical work out adapted to their level. They are caring and friendly and make everyone feel welcome. Never been to a better studio and miss it since I moved.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best Yoga Studio I have come across not only in Christchurch, but in New Zealand. The style of practice builds your physical strength, and also your mental strength. Since practicing at Apollo Power Yoga, I have learnt a lot about myself and I have created a new way of thinking. Fantastic experience: Simply the best power vinyasa yoga in NZ. Great teachers, great facilities and great practice. Plus a weekly class to classic rock to chill out on Friday evening and a Budokon class to challenge brain and body on Saturdays. Don't miss it!

Fantastic experience: Never done yoga b4 until Apollo. Tried Bikram and hot yoga CHCH but decided Apollo was for me. Both Hamish and Margo are gr8 instructors, good tone of voice and go out of their way to know peeps on first name basis. Moved abroad and now miss Apollo :(
