Fantastic experience: Best place for pilates ❤️
Fantastic experience: Align Pilates in Queenstown is awesome and I highly recommend anyone considering taking up Pilates or who is new to town and looking for a studio to join- join here, no question!! The classes are varied and challenging, the teachers are friendly, helpful and attentive, the studios and equipment are awesome- with a lot of thought and an element of 'fun' or special character been put into it all. While my favourite classes are on the reformer, especially the Power and Stretch class, what I especially love about Align is that it's not just reformer Pilates on offer- the other classes are just as challenging, fun and welcoming offering a variety of workout options. The Mat Pilates, and the Barre classes are also lots of fun and super rewarding!!! All positive reviews here, not a negative thing to say :-)
Fantastic experience: Absolutely love it here! The range of classes they have is fabulous. Everyone is always so lovely and helpful.
Fantastic experience: I love that every class is different and there is always a choice of light, medium or hard springs. The teachers are always available after class for any questions and will happily suggest an alternative exercise for any injuries. I usually attend 4-5 classes per week and can feel my core is getting stronger and stronger. Totally recommend for all and any age!!
Fantastic experience: Best instructors! Best pilates studio in Queenstown. The new studio with barre class, mat pilates, yogalate, fitness circuit and other classes and infra red sauna are amazing! I just love going to the classes. Each class at reformer pilates is different and always working with your core, breathing, balance, coordination. You really feel that you are using the right muscles. I really highly recommend the studio!

Fantastic experience: I LOVE this Pilates studio! Joined last July and haven’t missed a class. I’ve completed 265 classes now The team are incredibly friendly, and knowledgeable, making every class a fantastic experience for me. Especially when “Honey” the miniature Dachshund is in the studio. The classes are well-structured, engaging, and challenging in the best way possible The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the studios themselves are well setup. I highly recommend Align to anyone looking to improve their fitness and well-being! I definitely feel stronger

Fantastic experience: Started Pilates to get back in to movement after a big surgery. Loving it. The instructors know their stuff and are so attentive. Have also been doing one on one sessions to really focus on my weaknesses and this is making such a difference to my form and core strength. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Align for years! Emma and the team have supported me through many stages of life - prenatal pilates, postnatal pilates, day to day life and also complementing my weight training. I really enjoy that I can listen to my body and take it as hard or as easy as I want or need to each day. As well as the reformer pilates classes, I love the reformer elongate stretch classes - I come away feeling super relaxed!

Fantastic experience: I tried their intro package last week and loved all 5 classes. Each session was different working different muscles yet still engaging the core muscles. I have signed up for one of their monthly packages and will probably try out their 6 month or 12 month package next as it allows you to go for unlimited classes a week. Out of all the reformer pilates available in Queenstown, Align Pilates is also the most affordable. The sessions provide good strength and core exercises that will help me get back to hopefully where I was pre snowboard accident. I loved how I could join in with no prior knowledge of pilates or how to use the reformer. The instructors are friendly and they help you during class if you are unsure/in the wrong position or posture. This is a very good alternative to going to the gym! Update: 2022 Nov - on their 1 year plan now because the instructors are lovely, friendly, and have a vast knowledge about pilates. They know how I can improve my posture, gain muscle strength and have a good time exercising. Plus each session is different, with quirky analogies and enthusiastic energy which makes the excercises more engaging and fun. 2023 Update: Happy that pilates has helped strengthen my muscles so that I can learn to ski without injuring myself after dislocating my knee cap in a snowboard accident. Emma, Renee and Amy are awesome and love challenging us but are also very mindful about current and past injuries clients have and I love the gentle reminders so we don't over exert ourselves too much. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this place is my first time doing Pilates, it's been three weeks and I've started to feel an improvement in my posture, my back pain has disappeared. I have tried all my life to exercise but I didn't feel comfortable in gyms but here I feel very good the instructors explain how to do the exercises correctly they are very patient even though English is not my native language, they make themselves understood. Thank you very much you are the best!

Fantastic experience: Align is a beautifully designed studio in a great spot in Queenstown. It really feels like they have thought of everything. Thank you so much to Emma for booking five of our bridal party in for a last minute class. We had such a great time — the class was one of the most challenging reformer classes we have done, but also a lot of fun. The content of the class was comprehensive. Huge props to the instructor for dealing with 5 giggling girls who were reasonably inexperienced. She was very helpful, friendly and patient, and kept us in check while running the class.

Fantastic experience: Recommend 100%. I've never come out of one of their classes regretting to have gone, always makes me feel better physically but also (a lot) mentally whether it's the start or the end of the day. For me it's the perfect balance of toning and strengthening that I was after. Teachers are all lovely!

Fantastic experience: Align Pilates Queenstown is awesome! I love how the classes are different each time. It was great to be able to continue Pilates during my pregnancy and ease back into it when I was ready post baby. They cater for any fitness level! Would definitely recommend joining or trying a class!

Fantastic experience: I got my eyes on this studio since such a long time & I took the opportunity to be in QT for a long weekend to try it ... OMG ! Why i didn’t do it before ?! Such a fun energetic class, nice & helpful instructor full of energy & really deep work out ( my body was still sore 2 days later). I never went to a pilates class like this before. Love it !!! Fantastic experience: I leave Align feeling reenergised and centred. I’m seeing massive improvements in my coordination and balance. Every class is both challenging and fun and there seems to be an endless amount of exercises that can be done on a reformer! Highly recommend giving It a go!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love the team at this studio very professional and extremely friendly. I am on approx my 85th class and honestly if I could rate Align Pilates more than a 5 star I would . I was under a Rheumatologist Specialist for sometime however, I have now been signed off by her she was totally amazed at what these classes had done for my joints etc. A very happy client indeed p.s Icing on the cake I have toned up so much and lost 6kg.

Fantastic experience: I started going to Align Pilates on the advice of my physio who I was seeing for extreme pain in both my hips which I had been experiencing for close to 18 months. I had tried all sorts of things from injections to shockwave therapy and finally medication to numb the nerves enough to allow me a good nights sleep. This is when it was most painful. Anyway skip forward to a few months down the track and regular sessions at Align I am totally pain medication free and feeling great. If you had told me this would be the outcome after such a short time I’d have laughed in disbelief. Emma and all the girls who teach are so welcoming, vivacious and fun you cannot help but leave feeling energised and inspired. I’m hooked. Thank you Emma and Team Align x

Fantastic experience: I love Align so much and recommend the studio to anyone and everyone! I did reformer pilates while living overseas for a long time while also being a regular runner - and honestly, I was in the best shape! So I was thrilled to hear Emma was opening up a studio here, and it was timed well with finding out I was pregnant. I'm still going to classes at 8 months pregnant, and my body feels great - no aches or pains. I believe my regular attendance at Align has made all the difference and the Osteo I saw last week (to try to move my baby out of breech position) said my body was in really good shape and the pilates would be why! Not only have I had amazing results, but I LOVE going to class. Emma and the other girls are great teachers, we always have a laugh and they are very attentive. It's a beautiful space to unwind, challenge your body and have "you" time - I never dread going. You won't regret signing up! Thank you Emma and the team! xxx

Fantastic experience: Align Pilates Queenstown has changed my life. I feel strong and balanced and my back ache has disappeared after 3 months of classes with Emma and her team. I have lost weight, toned up and feel fabulous. As a mature woman I was beginning to doubt if I would ever feel fit and strong again. I am grateful to have found Align Pilates and feel so much better about myself.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend to anyone!! The team at Align Pilates are amazing, the studio is so beautiful and welcoming and the classes are perfect for any abilities. The reformers are easy to use and the trainers instructions are easy to follow so classes are suited to anywhere from beginners to experts. The only form of exercise in Queenstown that I have found helps with any pre-existing niggles or injuries and at the same time strengthen muscles to prevent any more. All while still making you feel like you've had a decent workout! Even after a couple of classes you start to feel the benefits with strengthening and processing in the exercises, but with the ability to add more "weight" in the form of resistance you can chose to challenge yourself so it never get too easy!

Fantastic experience: Emma & the team at Align Pilates are the absolute best in Queenstown! After being hesitant to try reformer due to price concerns, I did a free class and signed up on an unlimited pass the next day because I loved it so much. After years of trying to ‘burn calories’ with spin, running and weights (all great don’t get me wrong, but I was getting burnt out!), the Align classes were an empowering change and exactly what my body, mind and soul needed more of. Now my weeks include 3-5 classes, and I’ve never felt better in my body. The expertise and energy the team bring to the classes is unmatched. I have made some lovely new friends (notoriously hard to do in Queenstown!), and I will never get sick of Emma’s cheeky jokes. If you’re interested in reformer, or just a new chapter in your fitness journey, check the studio out, you won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy Align Pilates as every class is different from the day before so I never get bored. I love the reformers and all the accessories that can be used with them as you do get a full body work out. The instructors are all super friendly and always make you feel welcome. Pilates was recommended to me by my surgeon following two lower back surgeries. When I first started I had no movement in my lower back and my core was non-existent. The use of the reformer along with Emma’s patience and direction has resulted in me have full movement of my lower back again without further injuries, which feels amazing. I am also fitter, stronger, have better balance and coordination which is a bonus.
Fantastic experience: Emma and the crew are amazing. I have never been consistent at the gym or any activity until I found Reformer Pilates. It shows results very fast and it is not only good for your body but also for your mind as provides a space to breath and be present in the moment, helping a lot with stress. I love going to the classes. I definitely recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Such a good workout! It was my first time doing pilates with a reformer and I loved it! All the instructors are really lovely and super helpful. The studio is really nice and there is a place to take a shower afterwards.

Fantastic experience: I love Align Pilates! There's a huge time table of classes. The classes are a great all body workout in only 45 minutes. Emma and the other instructors are all excellent & friendly. The studio is beautifully clean & well organised. Definitely give it a try, it's the best value for money!
