Fantastic experience: I have been a client of Lee’s since 2019 when he first started out as a personal trainer. Lee is incredibly motivating and really goes the extra mile in customising your training to meet your goals in climbing and overall fitness. His knowledge of nutrition is excellent and is happy to help you fine tune your food to match your training. Can’t recommend highly enough. Has done wonders for my climbing, overall strength and fitness
Fantastic experience: started training with Lee right before fracturing my hand. he was able to quickly organize a meeting and come up with a plan to maintain what i could which worked amazingly. overall a great trainer who I'd definitely recommend for anyone looking for a climbing specific trainer.
Fantastic experience: Invaluable Training Experience I recently had the pleasure of working with Lee to prepare for a climbing trip. I was unsure about how to train effectively, but Lee helped me develop a personalized plan that suited my needs. Through our sessions, I learned the importance of having a structured routine and a supportive guide who can adapt the training to suit your progress. The training not only improved my physical performance but also taught me to listen to my body and manage mental and physical stress. Fantastic experience: Lee is awesome! I have come back to climbing after an extended break and Lee's coaching was essential to building my strength and power back steadily and without injury. He is so invested in how you're doing and will help you tweak the plan whenever it is needed to suit you better. Lee will help you with such a wide range of things and ensure that you are doing everything you can in all areas of life, not just in the gym. I can't recommend him enough!
Fantastic experience: Lee has been my PT over the last 12 months working mainly on muscle balance, range of motion, core and antagonistic training in support of my climbing goals. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and innovative in his exercise prescription and as a high level climber himself he understands the loads climbers put on their body. I’d highly recommend Lee to anyone looking to keep improving in their climbing journey!
Fantastic experience: I came to Lee looking to improve my strength for climbing, and spent 6 months training for a trip abroad. Lee was excellent every step, with clear and regular communication, an eye for detail and a flexibility that made me feel like I had the perfect plan for where I was at each week. Weekly sessions together were key to building up knowledge and confidence in the equipment and exercises I'd always shied away from. I can't recommend Lee and his approach enough! If you're thinking of giving Lee a go, just go for it... not only is he super switched on, but he somehow made suffering fun too!

Fantastic experience: I would absolutely recommend Lee to anyone out there look for a PT! I worked with Lee in my build up to a couple of trail races, a 24k and 50k. Lee was able to create a well devised, strategic plan that had the flexibility to change with what life throws at you on any given day. This was achieved through regular communication between client and coach, ensuring that I was always kept on track! Lee has a thorough approach to all aspects of training and well-being and this includes the all-important strength work that runners often overlook. He also focuses on longevity in the sport, which is incredibly important for long term health. If you are looking for a coach that has an amazing base of knowledge and a well rounded approach to health and fitness then I certainly recommend Lee at ATP Coaching and Performance.
Fantastic experience: I recently worked with Lee on general physical health, and it was great. He is not only knowledgeable about the latest training techniques and methods, but also takes a holistic approach to wellness that includes breath and pelvic floor work and nutrition recommendations in addition to traditional training. He was able to help with recommendations for general cardio and strength, as well as specific tips for climbing performance, flexibility and even return to exercise after COVID. Highly recommended!
Fantastic experience: I came to Lee with the hope of building some strength to ease the constant aches and pains of a physical job and help with some strength on the mountain bike. Within a few weeks, I was nearly pain free at work for the first time in several years and felt physically stronger, not putting so much strain on the body with each task. I was able to improve my weaknesses on the bike, as well as discovering a whole lot more priceless points I never imagined, such as non-dominant hamstrings, over used hip flexors, not over-taxing the bodies nervous system, etc, etc. I've never been a fan of going to the gym, but Lee's honest and humble approach to life, with a philosophy for long-term enjoyment and general well-being, I would highly recommend him to anyone that wants to feel better, think better, or just be physically or mentally stronger. You can't put a price(which is very fair in my opinion) on your well-being!
