Fantastic experience: I swim here 3 times a week and it is amazing especially the life guards are very nice and kind. Billy at the fount desk is the best

Positive experience: Modern and clean centre, sauna was sufficiently hot enough. Was really impressed with how clean it was, as leisure centres can be a challenge to keep clean. Spa was hot but no bubbles?

Fantastic experience: We were looking for a sauna in Hamilton and the closest one we found was in Cambridge. It's a very nice place. The place offers a sauna and spa, perfect for relaxing. It also offers swimming pools for swimming lessons, hydrodynamics and others. The price is affordable.

Negative experience: Where do they think it’s ok to charge a parent to spectate their kid when they drop them at a public swimming pool. It’s not a race or an event Just pure money grappling for nothing. Go Waipa. And they wonder why the Waipa council is so disliked???

Positive experience: Staff are all lovely here and the building is quite clean. I rated 3 stars as my toddler got really sick and lethargic after staying in the baby pool with the sprinklers. Day 2 after swimming here and he's still not better.

Negative experience: Pros: great for toddlers and elderly people. Cons: awful and boring for everyone else. No diving or jumping anywhere in the entire complex, even from the blocks. No springboards, no slides, outdoor pool is too shallow. You can tell that this place is run by overpaid, self congratulatory bureaucrats.

Positive experience: Great place to get the wee man swimming lessons.

Negative experience: Just to let you know they do not have SPA with jets. Shame I were looking forward to one.

Negative experience: Not great for children. There's a dangerous drop step in the main pool with no warning almost drowned while holding my kid and another mother said the same happened with her. Most of the indoor pool is for lane swimming and the other pool is always shut. So really it only has a toddler pool, small area in indoor pool, spa and inflatable, the outdoor area mostly shut.

Fantastic experience: It is a wonderful swimming pool for kids and families

Fantastic experience: The reception staff were very friendly and efficient. We had heaps of fun and there is something for every age group. My toddler had a blast in the kiddy pool and the water was nice and warm. There's a coffee cart for drinks too. Will definitely go again.

Fantastic experience: Always super quiet when I go (early afternoon), no problem getting a lane. Everything is clean and the showers are hot and powerful. Great to use the 50m pool in summer.

Positive experience: Vey clean, sauna is reasonable sized, and the spa pool is more like still water, no pressure at all. Lovely staff instructors. It's $8 for an adult and u can't use community service card.

Fantastic experience: Great swimming facilities, and my grandson really loves the blow-up 'obstacle course'. Staff are great, always friendly and welcoming.. Change rooms clean and tidy.. While the indoor main pool (in my opinion) could be a tad warmer it isn't that cold that you can't adjust to the temperature, and once you do, it's all good.

Cons: No Paywave, take exact change or Eftpos ( no digital wallet payment) No lockable personal lockers for hire to keep your valuables safe when swimming.

Fantastic experience: It takes me 20 mins from Hamilton on the express way, plenty of parking, definitely alot nicer and way mire friendlier than Waterworld, i come here for my Hydrotherapy session, and love every minute of it. Just knowing that your coming to bathe in Crystal clean water, and that they changing rooms don't smell. I love that you pay one price and get to use everything that is available.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities at an affordable price. Love how you don't have to pay for each separate pool unlike Waterworld. It also has a great friendly atmosphere to it.

Negative experience: Dragged hubby there with the kids with the promise of the spa - wouldve been nice to know as we paid that the spa was closed no sign except for the one on the spa gate. Kids pools were cold. Probably wont be back.

Positive experience: Thoroughly enjoyed the open spaces and choices of pools for families etc. Lots of light in the therapy pool and yet private for those inside. Full membership is quite expensive, though it does include the use of the pools and Gym in Te Awamutu, not that anyone is going to travel 30k to the gym when we have 6 in Cambridge. The direct debit system adds a lot more costs for those who can least afford it and costs more than the full membership. The staff were lovely to deal with and well presented. All up a great experience.

Positive experience: Very nice environment however, the pools are too cold and I couldn't have access to the hydro therapy pool as there were swimming classes. I don't think this arranged correctly...the therapy pool is for those needing it. Plenty of room in the big pool to segment off for lessons...warm it up though. The warmest pool was the toddlers which is too shallow for any other purpose.
