Fantastic experience: Shower available for 5$ in the Sports Centre, everything was nice and clean.

Fantastic experience: Great if travelling through QT in a van. Very well priced for access to gym and shower for a couple of weeks plus you can charge stuff up :)

Positive experience: Pretty standard NZ Aqautic centre, unfortunately the slides were undergoing maintenance :( Price was pretty good at 8 bucks for an adult. Staff were very nice and fun, one lifeguard turned up the pressure on a water gun for us which was hilarious.

Negative experience: Spacious indoor pool, great for adults and children alike! But the showers are often dirty, have traces of mold, and especially one in two times there is no hot water. You can enjoy a relaxing moment in the swimming pool, or pay between $2 and $5, the price of a (supposedly) hot shower, it's a real shame that the quality is not constant. And when we point this out at reception, we are told that the problem will soon be resolved (it's been 1 month). FR : Piscine intérieure spacieuse, idéale pour les adultes et les enfants ! Mais les douches sont souvent sales, présentent des traces de moisissures, et surtout une fois sur deux il n'y a pas d'eau chaude. On peut profiter d'un moment de détente dans la piscine, ou payer entre 2$ et 5$, le prix d'une douche (supposément) chaude, c'est vraiment dommage que la qualité ne soit pas constante. Et quand on le signale à la réception, on nous dit que le problème sera bientôt résolu (ça fait 1 mois).

Fantastic experience: Perfect spot to stop in for a shower if you are camping around in a van! $2 for a hot, clean shower (private stalls) and $10 for a towel rental (you get $8 back when you return it). Very friendly front desk staff too!

Fantastic experience: This place was therapeutic to me. I was at my lowest and have spent like 5-6 hours daily for months here. Just journaling, working out, swimming, then the hot pool. The staff is very friendly, the visitors are quite enthusiastic, the crew members are so supportive. And the trainers not only help you heal physically, but give you so much motivation, strength which in turns boosts your mental health as well.

Fantastic experience: Really affordable entry fees. The hot tub is adult only which is nice. But also heaps of kid friendly things in the complex like the slides and inflatable water course to keep children happy too

Negative experience: Like being in a prison camp pool. Constantly berating loudspeaker singing safety messages. Pool staff are fun police, and never stop yelling at people to stop jumping, flips, playing or anything that's not sitting quietly in the water. Pool is cold. All the kids changing rooms are out of order. Tough place to spend money. Front desk staff were nice.

Fantastic experience: This review is for lap swimming. Excellent pool to swim in. What a surprise finding such a nice (indoor) pool to swim in while visiting Queenstown. The water temp is perfect, the pool is very clean, and the other swimmers are friendly and respectful. They have several lanes available for lap swimming with signs indicating the lane speed. Before noon, the pool tends to be pretty quiet and you usually either have the lane to yourself or share it with one other person. The lockers cost money, but most lap swimmers tend to keep their bags on the bench right in front of the pool (which seemed pretty safe to me). If you don’t have your own transportation, the bus stops about a 5-10 min walk away from the pool. Just be aware that the buses tend to be irregular/infrequent and you may be waiting a while to catch the bus home if you don’t time it correctly. There is free Wi-Fi at the facility in case you need to check on the bus schedule or get an Uber. Overall, excellent pool. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: We went here and enjoyed it but the lifeguard was in a mood and after accidentally turning around in the hydro slide and went down the last 8 meters front first, Then after climbing the stairs looking forward to my next lap she ripped my hydro slide band off, she had a smug look and was looking proud of her self. Disappointing service will not be going back!

Negative experience: Just know that if your water loving 5 year old daughter leaves her lesson crying because the swim instructor grabbed her by the face and says to you 'I hate it when she does that', Alpine Aqualand will side with the instructor.

Fantastic experience: Came here while on holiday with our 1yo daughter. Awesome pool, with toddler area water toys, a whirl pool & large kids pool with water slides. We went during the week at around 8:30am and there was hardly anyone there. Perfect place to come with little ones, even when it is totally freezing outside.

Fantastic experience: Perfect place for young families. We went on a cold and rainy day. Our child loved the toddlers section and the water slide. I loved the hot pool!

Fantastic experience: The pools are absolutely beautiful. The warm pools are very relaxing, the lap pools are very good for doing strokes and diving, the spa is amazing! The kids can play for hours in Alpine Aqualand. ♡

Positive experience: Good thing to do with the kids on a rainy day in Queenstown. Just wish they would have the inflatables out more (often and longer). Tubes are ok. Nothing too exciting so great for younger kids rather than big ones.

Positive experience: You have to try the hot pools in winter. It’s awesome. There’s a training pool, lap pool, lazy river and infant pool, also water slides that look fun although I haven’t tried them. The temperature within is pretty warm during winter which is nice. Only thing is the lap pool temperature is a tad cold for me so I can only do my laps in the training pool. Changing rooms and showers are big. There are paid lockers and free cubicles for you to store your bags. $8 entry for adults (non-members). There’s a cafe and shop selling swimwear outside too.

Fantastic experience: I must give props to Alpine Aqualand. Their great chocolate snacks always have a wide variety of consistencies and taste always making my trip to Alpine Aqualand a five star meal and experience. Not to mention the stunning model swimsuit baddies who hang out in the shallow pool under yellow umbrella, I think I'm in love <3

Positive experience: A great pool!! Our kids absolutely loved it especially the hydroslides and the awesome equipment left out for kids to play with. It costed us about $30 (2x withadult, 2 preschoolers) including 2x adult admission for the slides which is a little too much imo hence the 4-stars.

Negative experience: September 2017 not good well is very disappointed go to a place what do not allow parents go with kids in the slide, new people who works there think they can do what they want, we stop to go after be prohibited to take our 3 years old boy the slide.

Positive experience: Nice regarding the 8$ price. Swimming pool, kids pool, hot pool and general pool with a circle (probably the best one). The slides cost extra and only open from 4pm though... Family friendly place, but it got quite boring after 3 hours. Limited wifi only at the reception "if it's working".

Fantastic experience: Best place ever for our kids. Clean, brand new, friendly staff and it wasn't packed. We loved it so much we went back on the following day. If you have kids you can get in on an adult + under 5 on a discounted rate, but even the full price is still worth it. The spas are beautiful, and although I have children I like the fact that they aren't allowed in them. The deepest end of the pool is only 1.5m so it's generally safe. Absolutely recommended.

Positive experience: great family fun but I was shocked when my kids came to me and told me they got kicked off the slide for coming out the other end head first. I mean I understand it's a safety hazard but they are just kids. the least you could do is give them a warning
