Negative experience: lap pool is always dirty since they let the kids playing in and pissing into it. last week one of them even vomited into the water and the pool was evacuated. if you want to roll in dirty water it is the right place. if you want to swim in hygienic circumstances avoid it. on the positive side the staff is nice.

Fantastic experience: Good swimming facilities. I only go for the sauna when my body is sore. Discount price for community service card holders. Shopping centre next door is handy. Kmart, Woolworths, chemist warehouse

Negative experience: Just an idea could we please install some tv screens like in the gyms or a big screen for those using the Spa? It's soo awkward getting into the spa with random people from all walks of life and nothing to view let alone people just standing there awkwardly not speaking or acknowledge eacthother inside the same spa??‍♂️ Widescreen tv's dont cost that much Auckland Council can easily pay that bill but surely‍♂️ Not that hard at all and goes for all Spa pools in Auckland. Thank you.

The spa is good and sauna too the downfall is Friday they don't open late and once I wanted to go after night markets nearby been told its lady nights only while I support they have something on for the opposite sex it does not really help men or guys with memberships over here !?

Positive experience: Well set out, plenty of staff available to answer enquiries,friendly. Sauna and spa look great and good size.Outside pool starts at3-4 ft. Parents are advised to supervise, your own kids. Outside there is shelter and seating but I would like to see umbrellas closer to pool,50 meters in length.

Fantastic experience: A nice place for swimming, gym, sauna and spa. Toilets and bathroom as well as changing area always cleaned. The guards are always on duty and easy to spot, and there is swimming lesson available on site by SwimGym. The only downside is that the changing area is shared so less privacy.

Positive experience: To be honest. Papatoetoe Pools is way better than Lloyd Elsmore (L.E) pools. They have better selected areas and the outside pools is better than Otara Pools. Great Vision. Not too sure if they have already, but it will be cool to have a bouncy unit on the outside pools. Probably not cause of the wind area. Any Hu. Staff are real friendly. Pap Pool, is Cool (LOL).

Positive experience: Great pools. Sometimes not all sections are available so good to call and see what's open - especially if you're taking baby(s)

Positive experience: A bit dated as there are only 4 lanes in the big pool and a small kids pool next to it. Gets super busy in the morning because of all the swim classes which only leaves 1 lane for the kids who can swim to play in. Would suggest to go around lunch or afternoon as this is the time it starts to die down. Outdoor pool is great fun and reminds me of the old parakai outdoor pool only this one is not heated. Suggest to have a shower at home to wash off the chlorine as the amenities are not that great. A good space to take the kids and have a couple hours of fun.

Positive experience: Attended for infant swimming lesson but was so busy and over crowded with no structure. Also had to climb over lane dividers to get into corner of pool where infant lessons were held; definitely need to take another person with you for that!

Negative experience: Im sorry but adults that sit and hog that under water fountain thing in the kids pool without kids should be told to leave. My child wants to play with it but cant cause some adult is laying on top of it.

Negative experience: Toilets & showers look like they are not getting regularly cleaned & mopped + dry mopped in wet areas, it was seen in both womans & mens as i had partner advise what his views when changing & using mens toliet & showers prior & after swim just like my self as they both appeared to had not been attened to within 3hours being there. Also Slippery to walk along pool side to spa & sauna entry also when walking down the steps in spa area it was very dangerous junky slimy slippery, Ok Water fountain not in use unable to be used as it had tape on it but it really does need to be fixed ASAP it allows full use when paying for Sauna or Spa. Papatoetoe pool do need to revamp adding slides similar to glenfield ppl will pay for that on entry makes it more exciting than Mangere pools & also a gym add it to the cardio room get more out of using papatoetoe if being local.

Fantastic experience: The ladies aqua zumba was amazing. Loved the instructor! She was so accommodating and welcoming as it was my first time. She made the class so fun and exciting. Waiting for the long weekend to be over so I can attend again!!

Fantastic experience: Our family swim here regularly. 2 adults, 3 kids. We have a 4yr old daughter with Autism who can swim confidently on her own without assistance. Yes Karens we are close by and prepared to jump in when needed. She is also a runner. The staff are very understanding of our daughters quirks/behaviors. We've never had any issues. We've always approached them first by explaining our situation & they've allowed us to supervise her how we think is best (Amazing). We love Pap pools, the staff are kind & approachable, they have a heated outdoor pool which is awesome although its a bummer they don't allow bombing like Otara (Not a biggie). The bonus is however, the outdoor pool stays open alot longer than Otara & Mangere. Paps outdoor pool is our girls fave! If she could talk she would give this place 10 Stars ⭐

Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities- immaculately clean. Pool complex includes 25m indoor pool, toddler pool, training pool, spa and sauna with a small gym inside with a large 50m pool outdoors. Indoor and outdoor pools had lanes marked - fast, medium, slow and walkers + talkers signs indicating which lane should be used by whom. Lots of seating areas for spectators in and outside. Well staffed, even at 0530 in the morning. Vaccine passes checked on entry with masks required unless in the pool

Negative experience: The swimming pool is very nice I love everything about it but one thing is that the time we have is too short for women, men can go whenever they want but a Muslim women like myself can only be there for about an hour, that is not enough time especially when we cannot go at any other time and it’s only on Fridays. I think about 2 hours would be great If you could do 6:15 to 8:00 or 9:00 omg, then you’d get a 5 star from me. Thank you

Negative experience: Outdoor pool barely open for 3 months , always closing early ,outdoor pool now not open til 11am on the weekends , what a waste of a 50m pool and on top of that I pay $38 in my rates every year to contribute.Very badly run , could be a money spinner. Put a roof on the outdoor pool run it all year charging for swims .

Only issue I have is when walkers start walking in clearly marked swimming lanes when someone is swimming and staff do not inform them it's a swimming lane only, leaving this up to the swimmer to do, which could potentially cause friction. Otherwise it's a fantastic facility

Positive experience: Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of parking and ample space for family to enjoy the outdoor pool. Ample changing rooms for both male/female but that needs to be cleaned and checked regularly. It gets quite busy and untidy at times.

Positive experience: Nice communal facility for people to focus on fitness. Pools are free for everyone to use. There's a nominal charges for spa, sauna and steam. Staff is friendly and helpful. There's a gym on site as well. Facilities are clean and tidy.

Positive experience: Great location with ample parking. Friendly staff. We were there on the weekend from 5pm to 6.30pm, so there was only 1 other family besides ours. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the Council has not tended to the outside pool, which was locked off from the public any way. It was flooded, the water was a horrible green, and there appeared to be green algae growing on the sides of the pool. Like ... eeeewww!!! Come on Manukau City Council, this is not good enough. The people of Auckland deserve so much better!!! Despite the above, we had a really lovely time here, as long as we didn't look outside!
