Fantastic experience: CityFitness is awesome! The gym is super clean, the gear works great, and there’s heaps of stuff to use. The staff are really nice There’s lots of different machine yo use. First gym I’ve been to and it has been a very good experience, differently would recommend. Great place to start you gym journey

Negative experience: Espantoso, siempre buscando sacarte dinero. Todos aquellos que van a estar menos de 1 año no contraten este gimnasio ya que a la hora de irte te van a cobrar $200 por "terminación anticipada". Un robo absoluto para las instalaciones que tienen.

Fantastic experience: I went to see about membership prices. I think it's a lot more affordable. Friendly and helpful too. I think it's a shame that they don't do the Free 5 minute health check now.

Fantastic experience: Great gym!! Always try and hit it when staying in Blenheim.

Negative experience: There’s no gym car park. So if you go during the day it’s very hard to get a car park.

Negative experience: On two seperate occasions I have come to this Blenheim City Fitness gym. 2 different members of the reception staff have been rude and angry towards me. They don’t know their own company policy and deals. $20 for a day means 24 hours as confirmed by every other city fitness branch I’ve come across in NZ. You’d think staff at a gym would have a calm, mature and “heathy” way to express themselves. But that’s not the case here. Sarcasm and anger aren’t appreciated on the side of the customer. Just some feedback for future reference.

Positive experience: Gym DOES NOT HAVE AC. Would never come here to do cardio during the 29°C day. Have to wait for a more appropriate air temperature before doing so as there isn’t many or any fans directed at the cardio equipment. Best you have is the breeze that might come through the open door or the small little fans on the equipment. Gym is tidy, just not comfortable for cardio if you overheat in higher temperatures. Good if you’re trying to work a sweat.

Negative experience: This location is not a new location, and city fitness is a nationwide known brand. How does this location not have air conditioning whatsoever? In the summer months people literally can pass out from heat exhaustion due to CityFitness being cheap and not retrofitting the facility properly. If you are living in Blenheim, go to any other gym, as I imagine they will have air conditioning.

Negative experience: too many people

Positive experience: Good people, could use more weights. Go off peak hrs to avoid waiting for equipment.

Negative experience: Advertised as a 24/7 gym but isn't open 24/7, wasn't mentioned in the signing contract. Not getting what you pay for is a bit frustrating.

Positive experience: Stayed in Blenheim for one night while travelling and went here early on a Saturday night. Lots of equipment and it was super quiet when I was there so I loved not having to wait for anything. Equipment is a bit outdated but works fine. Music was quite cool. I like a gym without the frills and fuss and this one ticked the box.

Fantastic experience: Was passing through Blenheim and in need of some weights to lift. Staff were super friendly and helpful in organising a casual gym pass for me. Gym was really clean and the one team member was constantly wiping down machines and equipment while I was there for an hour. If I lived in Blenheim this would be my Gym!

Positive experience: Two decent power racks, one average one. Dumbells weigh up to 48kg. Fairly clean and spacious. A good number of machines (for cardiovascular health and for resistance training) are available and they have friendly staff members. Only downside is the lack of Trap-bar and a full straight bar for pull ups, but that's just me being picky.

Fantastic experience: Very good place to get a workout done. Open 24 hours and membership is very affordable. Excellent customer service, gym equipments and facility is next always 5-star. If you want a no-fuss, get a workout go home gym this is it. Never tried their group classes before but I heard their also pretty good. I'll update this review once I personally tried it.

Positive experience: Unfortunately there is no air-conditioning. Some of the gear is quite old. Not a fan of the bench press. The great things are the price, the staff and the showers. The new layout is great so I have given them an extra star

Positive experience: It's a well-appointed gym, and has some great special deals on memberships from time to time but their follow up and engagement with new members is poor. They also offer short & long term personal training, but this is very expensive...
