Anytime Fitness Hereford Street

Negative experience: Dissapointed. Equipment old and some classes only for females with no male options. Trainers are only females. Not up to the standard of the anytime where I come from. Hope the others in Christchurch are better or I will cancel.

Negative experience: I’ve been a regular at Anytime Fitness Hereford Street, but I’m disappointed with the condition of some of the equipment — especially the benches. As shown in the pictures, the bench padding is badly torn, with exposed foam that’s both unhygienic and uncomfortable. This kind of wear should be addressed promptly in a professional gym. I hope the management prioritizes equipment maintenance to match the otherwise solid facilities.

Negative experience: Would not recommend. Richard the owner was rude and lacked communication with my daughter. Did not resolve an issue regarding cancellation of membership where she was charged $200.

Negative experience: It's okay. Not the cleanest or well maintained machines but fit for purpose. The carpark is kind of dodgy and the music is SO LOUD! I go at night after work and no one is in the gym and I can't hear my podcast even on full volume it's insane you can't even turn it down.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staffs. Amazing people with amazing bodies. Clean shower and lots of toilet. Parking is not a problem. I chose to join this club as i don’t like the idea of using cloth to wipe away the equipments after use on the other location. Here you can wipe with gym towel roll and discard which is far better than using used clothes to wipe other equipments. Everything here is new amd the location is close to everything.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym, very friendly and welcoming staff ❤. Has everything you need to get a good workout in. The weekly challenges they put up are a great motivation for people who want to challenge themselves. There is also a great water filter & vending machine which are both very convenient for before/ during/ after your workouts. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is wanting to try out a gym

Fantastic experience: Love this gym! Have been to so many gyms over the years and probably feel the most comfortable here. I also have a les mills membership and I don’t even go there anymore. Friendly staff and good equipment with hopefully more on the way Should add a large full length mirror in the changing rooms tho
