Unbreakable Training Centre

Fantastic experience: My husband, friend, and I joined Unbreakable for a couple weeks whilst we were staying in Christchurch. It's a small and very personable gym, there's a lovely community spirit, and people were super welcoming. We mostly used the gym for open gym, but also joined a few classes and enjoyed them. The gym is well equipped, with lots of accessory work equipment (bands, foam rollers, small weights etc.) as well as all the usual rigs, cardio machines, and benches. Thanks for being our gym home for a few weeks! Was great being there.

Fantastic experience: Great wee gym in St Albans/Edgeware. Very welcoming and accepting of all sorts of people and all levels of experience. The group class format is good fun socially, as well as being a good workout.

Fantastic experience: Unbreakable is a great gym for all skill and fitness levels. The small classes ensure you get the help and guidance to make real progress with your training. The programmes are interesting and the right mix of challenging and attainable. The trainers are super friendly and approachable and make you happy to be there. And because of the small size, they know you and it gives you the accountability to turn up and stick with it. All round, would recommend wholeheartedly!

Fantastic experience: Tried out a few different gyms around CHC but Unbreakable is unbeatable. I’ve been a member here for almost 2 years and we love the coaching staff, the chill and non-judgemental vibe, and the equipment is great too. They also do a lot of seasonal activities like beach day and picnics which makes it easy to make friends and build a community specially if you’re new to CHC.

Fantastic experience: I learned muscle exercises for the first time in the gym I was worried a lot because I'm a beginner, but thanks to the kind coach, I've come to enjoy exercising. There's a team to work out so I can enjoy exercising

Fantastic experience: Love this gym! It's small and welcoming to all fitness levels. Classes have a focus on strength training using body weight, barbell, and dumbbell movements. No treadmills here! Coach Kyla is utterly amazing and knows her stuff. People know each other's names and ask after you if you've been away. Great culture. :)

Fantastic experience: Wanted something different to your standard gym so Joined unbreakable. Wish I had have done it sooner !. Never done any Olympic lifting before but no problem. The coaches are amazing and take time with you to teach you properly. The group classes are top knotch and all the members are great and so welcoming. Such an amazing space , my happy place ! Can't recommend enough! Come and have a trial...you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym. It's a great community, super welcoming, and awesome coaches. V women friendly. And it has a kids' area if you have little ones. A good focus on strength building as well as getting the heart rate up. Lots of social and sporting events, too.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a new gym after my previous gym closed and Unbreakable popped up as a recommendation. It ticked all the boxes I was looking for: crossfit-style workouts, small classes, lots of parking. And as a bonus everyone there, both coaches and members, was very welcoming and friendly!

Fantastic experience: I've been hitting up Unbreakable for a few months now, and it's become my happy place. The vibes, the people, and shoutout to the rockstar coaches, Kyla and Izak - they make sweating it out a breeze. After a long search, I finally stumbled upon THE place. If I'm ever unsure about a move, the coaches are my go-to, with their knowledge, making workouts feel less like a mountain and more like a molehill. It's not just a gym; it's THE gym for everyone, no matter your build or height. Starting is the hardest part, but here, it's a breeze. No negative vibes - just a whole lot of positivity. Completed my 10-day trial, got hooked, and now I've got my partner on the fitness train too. Can't stop raving about Unbreakable - definitely one of my 2023 highlight, and I'm stoked for more gains in the coming years!

Fantastic experience: I visited Unbreakable Gym in Christchurch for a workout while travelling NZ. I would sign up immidiately if I was living anywhere near the Christchurch area. It’s a small gym but has everything you need and there is a fantastic atmosphere and great vibes all around.. from the staff to the other members.

Fantastic experience: The gym such a safe and comfortable environment and everyone was so nice and welcoming. I really liked having plenty of time in the classes to be able to focus on movements really thoroughly instead of rushing. I love the option to go to a strength-focused or a more fitness-focused class. Lifting heavy is also awesome. I had so much fun here.

Fantastic experience: I really benefited from having a strength coach to help improve my technique. I have been doing strength training and weights alone for years but I reckon I have improved by 10-20% by spending time with these guys. There is a friendly atmosphere and no agro. Highly recommend. Fantastic experience: I started coming here in early 2021 as a way to kickstart my training - I was training at a gym in Rolleston but had fallen off the band wagon due to a nasty box jump fail, the recovery from that and the gym ended up closing it's doors. The fact the I drive past Unbreakable twice a day on my way to work and home again was good motivation too - I couldn't use travel as an excuse not to go I'm not the kind of person who is motivated enough to work out on my own so I go to the Group Training Sessions. I love lifting - I love increasing the weight as I feel stronger and working to improve technique and weight with lifts I'm not 100% confident in. The coaches are all amazing and are helping to increase my confidence in myself on my journey to self love. They scale the workouts for me if there are particular elements I'm still working towards and help me to improve my technique with the movements I am familiar with. The members are awesome too - we are all from different walks of life but we all work hard and have heaps of fun doing it. There's a reall community spirit #unbreakable

Fantastic experience: Great place to train for beginners or professional weight lifters. Not your typical gym with rows of treadmills, crosstrainers or machines but plenty of free weights and equipment for real training. The staff are also very helpful and friendly.
