Negative experience: Morgan attacking people outside the gym would be considered unacceptable at any other training facility

Negative experience: This is an amazing gym and training facility and I would give it 5 stars but unfortunately they have a fighter (Morgan H) she has been attacking people outside of the gym against their will using her jiu-jitsu and boxing to humiliate them this is blight on their reputation and should be resolved immediately

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym and fight academy. Awesome, informative trainers and owners who are kind and understanding of us less athletically inclined. Definitely recommend if you're just starting out on this journey.

Fantastic experience: Dropped in here for a Friday night BJJ open mat and felt very welcome. Reasonable drop in fee and friendly crowd, with a good mix of abilities on the mat. Facilities were decent and even though everyone else was leaving black belt Jared waited around so I could have a shower before leaving - great guy! Would recommend if you are visiting or staying longer in Dunedin for BJJ! (And looks like they do other martial arts and fitness well too).

Positive experience: Argually the best gym on the South Island for BJJ & Boxing. Most coaches there are fantastic at what they do. Warning: Do not take classes with the guy there that goes by the name Mille. He fancies himself as a fitness coach but he has no understanding of basic physiology and anatomy. He teaches terrible boxing techniques to new people that couldn't tell the difference. I can't imagine how much injury he has caused. Like most gyms in NZ, hygene on the jiu jitsu mats could be improved.
