Having spent over 17 years with Rowan and his unique team of experts, I can highly recommend this facility for those who are serious about body maintenance to injury woes. They are true experts and highly professional managing a slick facility that stands out above the rest. I would encourage anyone requiring professional advice from injuries to general overall fitness to make contact. They are a paradigm shift away from the run of the mill gym facility and must be visited to be appreciated.

Negative experience: Went there for ten years my new gym has friendlier staff and much better equipment ,plus excellent parking ,The massages are a big improvement as well

Fantastic experience: I came to work in Dunedin for a 6-month period. The team at Synergy were fantastic. The atmosphere at the gym is relaxed but attentive. I am an academic and I spend a lot of time at a desk. I was given a targeted program to strengthen my upper back and shoulders. I was trained to use my body and the equipment in a way that did not strain or aggravate my neck. The trainers Josh, Ethan and Mat constantly monitored my technique but also gave me the space to focus on clearing my mind and have some 'me time'. Rowan and Ricky clearly put a lot of thought into the operation of the gym--not just initially but day to day. I'm going to miss it!

Fantastic experience: The professionalism at this gym is astounding. They greeted me by name and the whole time I felt that I was in the best hands. I had a painful back problem and a friend recommended that I see Rowan Ellis. We had a chat and Rowan explained about their scientific approach to exercise using EMG. It gave me real hope that I could be pain free. The results have been incredible. I'm now pain free and fitter than ever. I can't recommend them enough.
