Fantastic experience: I appreciate the people and staff here, very honest, one time I left my earbuds in the bathroom, and I flicked them an email about it, and it was found, this gym has a good reputation in honesty from my experience and never been to a gym who is honest about these sort of things!!!

Fantastic experience: I pay $27 a week for access to the body scanner and sauna, hands down the best deal out there. Flex Fitness Palmerston North is easily the best gym in town! Way better than City Fitness. It’s always clean, the vibe is great, and the equipment is next level. They’re got machines I haven’t seen in any other gym around here. The staff are super friendly and helpful, especially Jada. Whether you’re serious about training or just want a quality space to work out, this is the spot. Bonus points for the showers, they’re honestly top-tier.

Fantastic experience: This gym is amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The equipment is new and well kept and they have a great pendulum squat machine. There’s a sauna, well stocked energy drinks, and turf area. Everything you need in a gym and not too crowded.

Grand plateau avec différentes zones d’entraînements, machines (séparation haut du corps et bas du corps), poids libre, deux stations de powerlifting et multiple poulie avec énormément d’accessoires. Des miroirs sont disposés tout autour du plateau. À l’opposé du plateau de musculation de trouve un espace cardio/training où l’on retrouve tout les machines nécessaires, skierg, rameur, tapis… Magnésie autorisé, haltères jusqu’à 60kg, gym propre… Tout y est. Fantastic experience: Probably one of, if not the best premier gym in the Manawatu (not just Palmerston North) has modern equipment as well as good range of Free Weights. Staff are very knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of fitness and training. Very friendly members and very clean and tidy gym. Definitely rated 11/10 in all aspects They quality and community definitely makes the higher price worth every cent!

Bathrooms, equipment etc is always super clean, staff are very friendly and other gym goers are respectful and insightful when you need it. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a gym. 10/10

Negative experience: Terrible horrible fitness outlet. Smells old and mouldy and needs to be hit with a wrecking ball. Gyms should be free too and if I am paying I should be allowed to back out whenever I want!!

Fantastic experience: Went in today for a workout with a friend. Neve behind the counter points out the supplement sale. I only use protein and dont need anything. Three minutes later I know what creatine and L-Glutimate are and get to walk away with supplements that future Michael has to pay for... 10/10 Neve deserves a raise

Positive experience: I had placed my account on hold as I was trialing at another gym, I was not told it had come off hold or given an actual end date for it coming off hold, and was charged, when I rung up they said there was nothing that could be done and I was told I should’ve received an email or text saying it had come off hold, which I never received. Staff wasn’t very helpful.

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere, lovely welcoming staff. I visited every other gym in town to make sure I had selected the right gym before completing the sign up, and I knew I should have followed my gut! As flex was by far the best. Not to mention the infrared sauna access, great parking and the fact you can go to any other flex around the country is a huge bonus. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Nice gym and staff. Haven't sourced a PT yet as I'm still quite new. The atmosphere is nice and its modern. I gave been to a few gyms around now and looked at a few and I'd definitely recommend flex! Would love a skill mill, easier to wipe clean mats and a new step (I noticed one was broken and probably removed) as I often do workouts with my teen - I could be blind and maybe there's more than one

Positive experience: This is a good little gym, unfortunately I don't get the time to go in so have cancelled my membership. The only downside is that the payments come out regardless of how much money you have in you're account. Other than that its a good place

Fantastic experience: I have been going to gyms in Palmerston North for the the last 42 years .As a personal trainer and competitive bodybuilder myself I have seen a number of gyms come and go in my time . Flex Palmy has to be one of the most up to date and well equipped I have ever been to . The training equipment is in fantastic condition and is constantly being upgraded. The gym is kept to a high standard hygiene. The owners listen to the members and add amazing new beneficial ,fun ,high quality training gear regularly which reflects the investment and commitment of the owners Darryl and Kelsey have poured into the gym. congratulations team keep up the great job team .

Fantastic experience: I was never a fan of going to the gym as most gyms are really busy and I was worried about being judged for not knowing what I was doing. Flex Fitness Palmy changed my opinion on what a good gym is actually like! The community here is so friendly and welcoming that the gym has turned into a second home for me! The team go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable here and are always around to help. The equipment is all top of the line and the team are always upgrading and getting new things in for us to try! I couldn't recommend Flex more!

Negative experience: Would give zero stars if possible. Partner had an accident and is on ACC. She has been trying for over a month to cancel or ATLEAST suspend her NON-CONTRACTED gym membership. Darrel has been making it impossible while being argumentative and asking for proof and ACC medical certs which is unreasonable and an invasion of privacy. Extremely unreliable customer service (from Darrel) agreeing to at least halt her payments and nothing is still yet to happen. Ploys in customers with "free" body scans that don't exist (they are $40 just so you know). Says he'll do something, then he will do nothing and throw it on you for being disgruntled. You pay more for a contract free membership for flexibility, not to be messed around at every turn and have your medical records expected of you.

Fantastic experience: Flex Fitness is more than 5-Stars. The staff are friendly and approachable, they are highly qualified and knowledgeable in the Health and Fitness industry. They are passionate and relatable. The gym itself is well kept, great quality equipment which is constantly up-kept, monitored and changed or replaced when needed to meet the highest quality. Flex Fitness isn’t just a gym its a family, you walk in feeling comfortable, welcomed and reassured. The owners of the gym are very hands on within the business with is amazing, it creates a feel good atmosphere and shows members or members to be that they care and they are 100% committed to the day to day operation of their gym. I couldn’t recommend Flex fitness enough! If you are looking for a new gym to call home or wanting to get into the gym, flex fitness Palmerston North is the place to go! Fantastic experience: I have never felt more comfortable or welcomed at a gym. All of the staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely care. The gym is a great set out, never too busy so it's not overwhelming and the equipment is regularly updated to the best on the market. Highly recommend checking it out for yourself!

Fantastic experience: I changed to flex about a month ago and I’m honestly impressed In every way. Staff and other gym goers are so friendly and I feel like I can ask anyone for help if needed. The equipment feels so smooth when using. The whole layout and set up is aesthetically pleasing. Doesn’t get to busy either the times I go which is a bonus! I’m so glad that I changed the flex. Flex palmy even has smoothies that I’m yet to try they look so yum!

Negative experience: I was very much a regular at Flex since moving from Auckland. At the start the people were friendly etc but after a while I noticed a bit of a cold shoulder. The new owner then asked if I had written a 2 star review about them which I denied. They still made me sit around the back room until I could prove it wasn't me. My name is Dan and the person who wrote the bad reviews name was Steve. I would expect after working out there for so long at least one person would have noticed my name. Worst part was no apology. We all have differing reasons for going to the gym. Mine is stress relief. It's the last time I'm using Flex, I'm at Jetts now where the staff aren't too cool for school. Hopefully these guys will figure out a gym is a place for all shapes and sizes.. m don't go making people feel uncomfortable. And learn your punters names!!! Big gym little pond

Positive experience: Can't complain really. It is a nice upgrade from my previous gym. 24/7 showers, 2 platforms, cable machines but my personal favourite is the boxing bag. It is isolated and has its own space so you can go hard without any interference. People there are nice and friendly, easy to get along and won't hesitate to help if required. Other gym goers I've seen are chill and friendly and it's quite easy to get to. Overall, a solid gym that caters for anyone who wants to be a better them. Cheers.

I've been to a few gyms now and I have never before been made to feel so welcome. And flex is the only gym that I have been to that I don't feel judged.
