Fantastic experience: Best gym I’ve ever tried!

Fantastic experience: Over the past decade, I've had the opportunity to be a member of nearly every gym in town. While each has its own pros and cons, none have that elusive "X factor" quite like Flex Fitness Masterton. Having been a member at so many gyms, you start to notice patterns and processes. What sets Flex M.a apart is how everything runs like a finely tuned acrobatics show. There’s so much happening behind the scenes, and the end result is nothing short of spectacular. From the seamless class schedules to the little details that elevate the experience, it all leaves you inspired and ready for an encore. If you're looking for a gym that perfectly balances affordability with excellence—this is the place. If you want a gym where the staff celebrate your wins, no matter how big or small—this is the place. If you want a gym that gives you the space to train solo or join a vibrant, social class—this is the place. To future members, and to my past self: What took you so long to join up?

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the gym for the last 15+ years. From Jetts Fitness, Les Mills to City Fitness across multiple branches across the Lower North Island as I travel quite a bit. I can genuinely say that Flex Fitness Masterton is the best gym I’ve been to. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The facility and equipment top notch and well looked after. The various apps / services they use are great and motivate you to get into the gym. And the staff continually check-in with you to see how things are going. If you are on the fence about it, go in and give it a trial. You won’t be disappointed. The closest I’ve come to it would have been Les Mills in Wellington but they had so many customers you didn't get that personalised treatment.

Fantastic experience: If you're looking for a gym that has supportive and professional staff this is the gym to come to. If offers amazing classes that challenge and provide a lot of fun. If that's not for you then there's personal trainer sessions and personal programmes that cater to your goals. The gym community is friendly, supportive and welcoming. Not sure what to wear at the gym or just wanna rep the gym? They have a great range of merchandise available to buy! Lastly there is frequently give aways and competitions to give a go at aswell.

Fantastic experience: What I love about Flex Fitness is the staff and the classes and the people that come along to do them Ive gained so much strength and confidence since joining the gym like to challenge myself and I find the combination of trainers, workout's and equipment helps me do that and I would recommend that anyone that wants to make a lifestyle change come along and give it a go Reply. x

Fantastic experience: Mean gym! I live in Wellington but stay in Masterton often so visit this gym quite alot, I love how clean it is and it ALWAYS smells nice. Good size and heaps of equipment available. Always enjoy visiting this gym

Fantastic experience: A friend recommended Flex to help me gain some mobility and strength. That is exactly what happened. Have been going for a while now, every class and every trainer are amazing. They know their stuff, they are patient, kind, and happy to see you. We have great laughs too. They are more than happy to work with you at your pace and abilities. I really cant fault them, and I appreciate them being with me on my journey.

Fantastic experience: I said to myself it's time to invest in ME and here I am….Flex fitness is the best choice for me, I needed to choose a gym where I was going to feel comfortable right from the get go. I'm someone who is new ish to most of the gym machines and weights people use in a gym these days, so having staff/Personal Trainers that are easy to approach and ask questions is another box I needed ticked off before signing a years contract. Flex fitness Masterton has ticked all those boxes for me, the staff/PTs are keen to help and answer any questions, Rach the owner isn't far either, she's easy to talk too and keen to help out not just with workouts but the food side aswell. Honestly you'd be surprised what a big difference this small gym has to offer.

Negative experience: Never been here before but it looked nice so thought I'd have a look at sign up fees. $90 just to get your feet in the door is crazy and is beyond my budget. Next stop CityFitness.

Fantastic experience: The first gym I've been to where I feel absolutely comfortable and safe working out. The support and encouragement from the staff is incredible, whether it be during group classes where the workouts are adapted to assist members from all different fitness levels or working out on my own. The gym is always clean and welcoming. Have never regretted my decision in signing up.

Fantastic experience: Masterton Flex Fitness have the best gym I have ever had a membership with. From the gym enviroment to the amazing equipment, it has everything you need and more. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, going to this gym always starts my day off right!

Fantastic experience: One of the most friendliest Gyms that I gave been to. Nic, Taylor and Liv some of the best trainers around. So far this year I have lost about 9kg and its all thanks to them Thanks Flex Fitness Masterton.

Positive experience: Gym is small, but they've done well with the space. Modern design. Has basic gym equipment with an athletic space around the back. It's a nice little gym..only thing missing is a boxing bag

Negative experience: Earlier this year I had appointment with the P.T (Sonaigh) I agreed to was excited to start P.Ting sessions (the Manager agreed I could pay a certain casual amount to use Personal Training at Flex Fitness) the rate was very reasonable. I was told she would write a program for me over the weekend and get back in touch with me early following week. By the following Friday I concluded she is never going to get back in touch with me and I was so shocked and hurt by the discrimination I didn't even feel comfortable with making a complaint via email. At the time I was at Cityfitness and I was treated shockingly there too so this just made me feel like people were purposely being mean to me. I didnt give in but all my mind and soul energy was going into not letting people in fitness industry stop me from accessing P.Ting in Masterton. Thankfully I persevered to Waiweight (Bevan Mackenzie) and he was kind to me and didnt muck me around or discriminate against me. I booked in for P.Ting with Bevan but my motivated mindset had been destroyed during the process and I wasnt able to carry on after P.Ting ended. I'm still fat and struggling with my "why?".

Positive experience: Good gym, not busy, but low amount of equipment. Has the essentials of a gym however.
