Discover Masterton’s premier destination for female-focused fitness at **Shape Shop Fitness & Nutrition**, a dedicated women-only studio that has been empowering local women since 2015. Located at 132 Lincoln Rd, our facility is designed to provide a supportive, judgment-free environment where strength, confidence, and long-term health take center stage. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced athlete, our fully equipped studio offers a welcoming space to transform your body and mindset.
At the heart of our offering is our **Supervised Group Strength Training**, where group sizes are capped at 16 women to ensure every participant receives personalized attention. Our coaches guide you through daily circuits focused on traditional, functional resistance training, emphasizing solid technique and progressive overload. We offer three distinct session types to suit your goals: Strength Sessions for building capability with 60-minute circuits; Super Sessions for fast-paced stamina and efficiency in 45 minutes; and Sweat Sessions that blend cardio with weight-based movements for a high-energy 40-minute workout. Best of all, our "No Limits" membership provides unlimited access for just $37 per week, with no joining fees, contracts, or cancellation costs, and your first weeks are free.
For those seeking more targeted guidance, we offer Small Group Personal Training and specialized Focus Groups for experienced lifters. These sessions, led by our qualified coaches, focus on refining technique, pushing personal limits, and addressing specific muscle groups. We also provide standalone Personal Training sessions open to everyone at $80 per session, ensuring you can sharpen your form and movement patterns regardless of your membership status.
True transformation extends beyond the gym floor. Our Nutrition Coaching program helps you build sustainable habits through one-on-one fortnightly sessions, practical nutrition plans, and diverse whole-food recipes. Led by our expert team of co-owners and coaches—including Angela Smart, Regan Sherriff, Rachael Lewis, and Katie Macarthur—Shape Shop combines deep expertise in exercise science, precision nutrition, and powerlifting to help you move well, feel energized, and achieve your unique fitness goals.

Fantastic experience: I was really grieving after my darling husband passed away but after joining the Shape shop it has really given me a focus and positivity. All the trainers are super friendly and supportive, ready to guide you to do the exercises correctly and the other gym members are friendly too.. all in all the Shape shop is the best thing that’s happened for me in 2025. I feel so grateful. Thank you!
Thanks for your review Annie. We’re so pleased that Shape Shop has been able to provide you with a supportive community & training environment that’s helped you thrived this year. Here’s to many more years working together
Fantastic experience: Beyond a trainning space, shape shop is a refuge, a chance to choose yourself and become part of an incredible village.
Thanks Hannah we’re so pleased to hear you’ve found a ‘village’ of like minded
women to share your fitness journey with.
Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this gym and the brilliant team behind it! There's always a warm friendly Hello waiting the moment you walk through the door, thanks to the lovely, supportive and highly experienced trainers. One of the Shape Shops best qualities (and there are many!) is that every session has a trainer on hand to guide us through each workout. They make sure we're using the equipment correctly through out our strength training and are always there to help or answer any questions. I genuinely enjoy being part of this welcoming gym community, and I feel fantastic losing weight and toning up through their 360 Nutrition Programme and Focus group sessions. I definitely recommend this gym!
Hi Jan thanks for your review. The coaches at Shape Shop pride themselves in offering great support out on the floor in the group fitness sessions.

Fantastic experience: Super welcoming coaches and community and great equipment. One of the best things I've done in 2025 is start here, and I'm seeing the benefits through increased strength, confidence, and posture. Five stars from me.

So pleased to hear that you’re already feeling the benefits of your workouts at the studio
Fantastic experience: Been at Shape Shop for 7 years and the best gym I've been a member of. The coaches are amazing, they put time into each and every lady and really do care. They also bring an awesome amount of fun to each class. The fitness part is easy (ish) when the atmosphere is so great. It's just woman lifting up women while lifting weights. Highly recommend.
Thanks for your review Kellee. Wow 7 years strong at Shape Shop that’s awesome. You’re so right when you say the workouts are “easy (ish)” when the training environment is uplifting and motivating. Here’s to many more training years together at the studio
Fantastic experience: Shape Shop has changed my life, it's the first time I feel like I fit in somewhere, doing the 360 nutrition plan helped me shed 20 kg. Now participating in Focus groups and normal classes has helped in everyday life and I have developed muscle in places I struggled with. I love Shape Shop more than ice cream!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for your review Sonia.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place! You are always made to feel welcome from the minute you step through those front doors. From a strength class to a super sweaty sweat class this gym really caters for all. If you are wanting extra help with nutrition there is also qualified ladies to help out there too! If you’re looking to start something new or just change up from the norm you need to call in and check this place out! Can’t recommend highly enough

Fantastic experience: Thank you for making me feel so welcome! A lovely bunch of people.
Fantastic experience: The most amazing gym. An all ladies gym with the most modern equipment. Heaps of amazing trainers and friendly gymers. They share recipes for good health and specific diets. They enter competitions for muscle builders. I am still a newby but have enjoyed each session. (As much as one can enjoy a workout that hurts.) There is a lot of friendly banter among the ladies. In every session I have been to, there has been a person or sometimes more than one who has help me use my station correctly. When you are new the trainers also look after you and demonstrate again. Not one session is the same, we do a variety of different circuits. Love it. Love it.♂️♀️
