Fantastic experience: Real loving community nice chill gym, with very understanding and caring owners and staff, very interactive for beginner gym goers. Not always having to fight for a bench or machine cause plenty of equipment. Definitely recommend this gym to anyone nervous of large crowded gyms.

Sam and Layne are so lovely and are always up for a chat, they are supportive and have created a fantastic environment to work out in. Being fairly self conscious I feel confident in coming in. Positive experience: Nice new gym. Things I like> staff is really friendly and helpful, equipment is great, gym is clean as, easy parking. Things I don't like> shower room is too small, I battled to get dressed. The benches are terrible, they only have 2 height settings, get rid of them immediately! Need another cable machine as well..

Fantastic experience: I lived in a Sydney, Melb and Brisbane in Aus for years and nothing there ever came close to this gym. The renovations and the new equipment are awesome and you can tell a lot of work has gone into it. Honestly best gym in Palmy, plus Jamie is an incredible trainer and so friendly and supportive.

Negative experience: Impossible to get hold of, have been trying to cancel my membership but they never reply to messages, even though they are active on Facebook and post videos. I want to cancel, why is it that no one ever responds? This is money that I’m wasting..

Fantastic experience: Snap Fitness Palmerston North is hands down the best gym I have ever been too. It has the best equipment and facilities as well as the BEST staff. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The personal trainers are exceptional and so approachable. The ladies on the desk are amazing and bubbly. The energy in the gym is second to none. I will be back! I miss the place already!

Fantastic experience: Great gym - new modern equipment, friendly and approachable staff, relatively central location, clean/tidy environment, chill atmosphere & members, discounts/offers for other services or brands for members, feminine hygiene products and fruit are often available to members, you can go to any snap if you're travelling so don't miss your workout Only downsides is no group classes if that's your thing (excluding some offered by PTs which is cool) and unfortunately snap doesn't offer family memberships (hopefully that changes in the future ) Totally recommend it here. It's peace of mind having a monthly roll over for newer members too if you're unsure

Positive experience: I really love this gym, it's very well lcated, plenty of parking, super friendly and lovely staff, new machines, not crazy busy as other gyms... but unfortunately there 2 little things to improve, it needs a hack squat machine and lower benches or cubes for hip thrust. And perhaps some extra steps. These were the only reasons I had to leave the gym. Otherwise I would be there for ever.

Fantastic experience: Just gorgeous! Such a clean gym everything looks new, So much space for work outs. I don't live near Palmy ended up in the gym on a road trip and thought it was awesome. Hope I can come again!

Fantastic experience: All equipment is new...which is refreshing as some gyms have a mixture of old and new or just old. Of all the snap fitness I have been too this one has just about everything equipment wise. Nicely spaced out and lovely staff. Small shower rooms and the pressure isn't that great, but other than that awesome.

Fantastic experience: Nice and small. Not too busy and flashy! Good place to get a good workout and burn fat.

Negative experience: I had one year contract with the gym, nobody explained to me the payment will not stop at the end of the contract. The gym still take fees from me after I finished gym for two months. And The staff put all responsibility on me, reject to refund the over charges. So I will never go back this gym.

Fantastic experience: Staff is always helpful PT always on the floor helping people and they remember my name even when I hadn't been in for a while!, wide range of new equipment, open 24/7 And a handy month to month plan which you can cancel anytime or a year contact, both come with a pt session. Good atmosphere!

Fantastic experience: When I first joined I didn’t know where to start. A friendly PT drew up a plan for me. I renewed my plan every 6 to 8 weeks. Now I’m confident enough to write my own plans. The staff are friendly and always willing to help when you need it. I love the new addition of ‘crowdDJ’ so I get to enjoy my music when iIwork out and not have to worry about earplugs. I love how clean and tidy Snap Fitness is too!

Fantastic experience: I did a Google search for a 24hr gym in Palmerston North, and came across Snap Fitness. I was in Palmerston North for a family funeral, and was only visiting for three days. On the Snap Fitness website they offered a free three day trial - however it is only available to local residents. I discovered this after I'd already filled out the application, and left a phone message with staff member Stewart. Stewart called me back about an hour or so later. I explained to him that I wasn't a resident, and was only visiting for a few days for a funeral. He said that it wasn't a problem, and that I was welcome to come in for the free trial anyway. At the time - 5pm - I was literally on my way to the family service, and told Stewart that I wouldn't be free till at least 9pm, and I was keen for a workout. Stewart advised me that although he finished work at 6pm, he'd be happy to "run to the gym and open up for me" - anytime up to 10.30pm! I ended up getting to the gym a bit after 7.30pm, where I was greeted by a smiling and helpful Stewart. Snap Fitness is a great modern gym, that has a very friendly vibe. It has a good mix of free weights and machines in excellent condition, as well as several treadmills. There are also some small-ish, but very well maintained shower/changing facilities. I had a fantastic and enjoyable experience at Snap Fitness Palmerston North - all enhanced by the outstanding service provided by their staff member Stewart.
