Fantastic experience: I’ve been training at this BJJ gym for over 5 years now, and it’s honestly been an amazing journey. Paulo is an outstanding coach incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and always pushing everyone to be their best both on and off the mats. The atmosphere here is like a family everyone is super friendly, supportive, and respectful. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have experience, this is the perfect place to train, learn, and grow. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Fantastic experience: This is the place to be for no B.S. jiu jitsu. Great training partners, incredible instruction, clean facilities. All you need to succeed on the ground! Heads up for the ladies: if you're maybe shy or just dont want to roll with the guys the first few classes as you get used to things, dont fret because they also have a Womens (only) Class as well! Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training at Sorriso BJJ (Mt Eden) for almost a calendar year now (though 2020 messed much of this up) and have really enjoyed the classes and the family vibe there. From the very first lesson Coach Paulo has been welcoming and supportive of my first venture into BJJ, and I feel extremely fortunate to be one of his students. He has fostered a family environment there that all have adopted, and the warmth and welcome, and sense of belonging, that you get there, is just as valuable as the learning of BJJ itself. It’s a long journey toward my goal, but I know that Paulo, and the greater Sorriso BJJ family, will have my back. ;)
