Fantastic experience: I am a member since Feb23. I love the gym and the trainers. Such an amazing environment, and they have a child minder 3 times a week, my baby plays while I am working out and he can watch me if he wants through the window. He absolutely loves there.

Fantastic experience: Really I should hate it here because of how sweaty the workouts make me but the trainers, other gym-goers, and overall vibes are so incredible that I can't help but love it! The work outs are challenging but accommodating of every fitness level - highly recommend.

Negative experience: Opened in a residential area. Constantly plays their music so loud that it wakes people up on weekends. If it's waking people up in different it buildings, it will definitely be damaging your ears. I work in music venues & can tell you it is ear damaging levels. No consideration for neighbors or clients health. I also work on the weekends & and at night as a DJ & lighting tech so I'm not adverse to loud music at appropriate times. 8am after I finish work at 3am is not an appropriate time. I can look into the studio from my lounge about 8m away. It is pretty obvious there is a house next door to the site. We have been here 8 years, much much much longer than the gym. They will say they have had no complaints about the sound volume but I know that's not true. We have been in contact with the owners since it started building as the 5am construction noise was waking us also. I also know members have complained given that I know a couple of them. This has been ongoing since before it opened and we have tried to find a solution. We have been told we would be advised when there is a DJ in there but that hardly happens. Why does a gym need a DJ anyway. It's not like they're dancing.

Fantastic experience: Love BFT Mt Eden! Such a great space, the team there make you feel really welcome and comfortable no matter what your fitness level and it has such a great variety of classes to suit everyone no matter what your fitness vibe is. Highly recommend giving it a go!

Kind yet highly motivational trainers and a friendly, welcoming environment where it doesn’t matter if you’re a total novice or seasoned pro. It has blown me away how quickly you see results from BFT, looking around the gym people have been transformed over a few months. I couldn’t recommend this gym more for people wanting to look and feel the strongest they have in years, and have fun in the process (which I never thought I would get from a gym!).
