Negative experience: Unfortunately, almost all of their treadmills have some malfunction and they have very indecent communication when signing you up to a discrete contract

Fantastic experience: It's a pretty good gym. Has most if not all the equipment you'd expect to see in a commercial gym + the sauna and recovery equipment. The dumbbells do cap out at 45kgs though so be aware of that. It is definitely one of the less crowded gyms out there, but yet to see how peak hours are like once school begins

Fantastic experience: Unreal gym, everything is brand new and feels like you’re the first person that’s ever used it. The space is super clean, the amenities are well looked after. LOVE the sauna in there. Staff are super kind and are willing to help out in any way, would 100% recommend

Fantastic experience: Such a great gym to workout in. It’s always clean and smells fresh. There is a wide range of equipment on the floor, and not to mention, a range of group class options to choose from. The gym is never too crowded so there’s no wait to use machines. Staff are super friendly, helpful and attentive! Plenty of room to park your car at the back, plus there is a sauna in the gym too.

Positive experience: Awesome machines, all pretty much new. Nice friendly staff. Only one issue. Fitness republic would increase my membership rate without informing me and fail to decrease it when I instructed them to. They did this on four occasions and resulted in me losing money. Maybe ok of you are working but rough if you are on a limited budget. Please be aware of this as a member.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym!! I have tried a few different gyms around Auckland but Fitness Republic was the first gym to feel like "home". The gym is always tidy and the equipment is all high quality. The staff are also incredible, you can tell that they genuinely care about the members and the gym itself.

The gym is very well equipped, all the time is very clean and the management and very friendly staff who helped me reach my goal. Very happy with the way they handled the Covid-19 situation.

Good price for the extra luxury and 24/7 gym factor. Location in Birkenhead is good too, will be better when the front door to the street is completed too

Craig in particular is very invested in all of his gym members, he really goes the extra mile by showing people through any exercise that they might be unsure of, making sure that they understand every aspect of their program, nothing is too much trouble for him. He is also very knowledgeable and offers lots of nutritional advice for any questions anyone may have. Layken is a shining star of enthusiasm for personal training, and I really appreciate how frequently she is seen cleaning and tidying around the gym. Both are great gym role models.
