Fantastic experience: Awesome gym with all you need for a good workout - free weights, machines and cardio. Everything is well maintained. Plenty of space and a good atmosphere. Walk-ins are welcome!

Positive experience: Good gym but please change the bloody sountrack every now and then!

Positive experience: 3 month back I have requested a long stick for warm up. And There is an issue in maintenance the equipment even after complaining about it.

Fantastic experience: The staff and members are friendly and supportive. I love that even when it's busy it's not packed. You don't have to wait long for machines. From the treadmill, there is a lovely view of Mount Wellington and lots of natural light during the day.

The equipment is top-notch, and the facility is spotless. The atmosphere is always positive and motivating, making it a pleasure to work out there. Fantastic experience: I've been going to this gym for over a year now and even signed up my 2 nephews. I highly recommend the place to anyone local who is looking for a gym where you don't need to lurk and wait for a bench (aka cityfitness!) or even wait for equipment in general. It's never too crowded even during the peak times. The staff are super helpful and friendly, always keen for a chat or happy to leave you to it! Can't rate the place highly enough!

Fantastic experience: Never thought I’d step foot into another gym after being trapped in a 3yr contract with Les mils! (15 years ago lol) So grateful I came across Xcel fitness! It really was that simple, free trial.. no sign up fee, hidden costs, or T&C’s I was extremely nervous about it all! Two months into my journey and I’m down 13kgs! I attend regularly. Friendly staff and community! -one I’m truly proud to be apart of! The gyms always clean, the views are amazing! Great location and plenty of parking! Special mention to Emile Clayton! He helped with sign up, aswell as PT consultation/sessions! I love the program I’m on! Thank you for listening to my goals I had planned and set, then creating one that works perfectly for me! Negative experience: This gym has turned into a completely run down dump. Broken, dirty equipment, filthy mirrors, filthy air ducts, filthy gym equipment, filthy ceilings, missing blinds, no longer air conditioned and the weights left on machines. Needless to say I won’t be back.

Fantastic experience: This place is good to get in, do the mahi and leave feeling good... This place is great. Emile has helped me build a program to cater to my needs. I needed help getting back into the swing of things after my surgery and Emile has helped me do that. This is week 2 and counting...

Emile, Sarah, Alex and Tony are all incredible people and I say that in the sense each of them bring an awsome vibe to the gym. They do an amazing job at keeping the gym neat/tidy and bringing in new challenges as well as creating a great vibe!

Great equipment, excellent advice and PT from the staff, and because it's independant there are never crowds or queues for machines. I'd honestly drive across town for this kind of training environment!

Fantastic experience: All the strength equipment you could possibly need, a great gym for work outs. Never have to queue to use any equipment, no crowds, no obnoxious members - a great vibe to train in. Some times you can be the only one in the whole training area and feel like its your own private gym.

Fantastic experience: Simply Fit is a simple, clean and tidy gym with all your basic equipment plus more! It's a great place to get started on smashing your fitness goals no matter how big or small they are! I love how its an independent gym and that the staff are friendly and welcoming. I personally love training here as I can get through my workouts doing supersets without having to wait for equipment and space.

Fantastic experience: Nice and spacious gym with great strength gear ! There's also no crowds so you can actually use what you want to use. The cardio area has a pretty cool view as well. Staff are very welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable. Would recommend !
