Negative experience: Right, I've been a Flex member for nearly 2 years and have trained at many Flex gyms in Hamilton and Auckland, and I have no complaints about the Flex franchise itself or other gyms. That's where the good part ends. However, I stay closer to Morrinsville Flex, and what can I say—probably a home gym would have better machines and dumbbells than this gym. Most dumbbell handles are bent to a point where you can't even grip them, and the legendary cable machine—Jesus, I wonder when it is going to break and injure someone's back. I mean, FLEX, come on, you really dropped the ball on the cable machine. I mean, it's a staple for every gym; at least have a look around other gyms, you might learn something. I hope these are not Flex standards because it feels like other Flex gyms got it unfair where they have to maintain the gym to such a high quality, and then we have FLEX FITNESS MORRINSVILLE.... Please change your machines.....

Fantastic experience: Good little clean gym. Steadily used all day with a warm friendly atmosphere including all abilities. Indoor and private outdoor training areas. Bookable sauna. A disabled toilet and shower area, toilet & shower with a third single toilet on its own. Even the staff are great. I've been a regular user for a few months undergoing rehabilitation, from being a wheelchair user and now to crutches. There hasn't been any problems with everything being on one level.
