Fantastic experience: The Jetts Birkenhead team are super friendly and very professional. Gia our personal trainer is so wonderful, very, very talented and professional and a great listener plus has an absolutely delightful personality Anuj is very professional and is very informative and helpful plus super delightful as well! I’m very happy with Jetts Birkenhead 10/10 P.S. If you want a personal trainer who is excellent at what she does you should ask for Gia because she is an amazing trainer, person and cares always about her clients wellbeing I swear she is made of elastic because she is sooo flexible

Fantastic experience: Coming from a busy gym City Fitness. Was such a relief. I wasn't being stared at or made to feel uncomfortable by teenagers at all. Jetts has a great atmosphere with no show pony's. Just people that want to work out in privacy and enjoy the time they have working on their body's. The staff are all so lovely and talented at what they do. The place is always spotless. The staff and other members are very friendly and evan check in to see how I am going. 11/10 gym. Very private. Negative experience: Has a giant monitor in the weight room SPECIFICALLY to play sponsored ads 24/7. I do not want to see the stupid space heater ad while im trying to do dumbell press every goddam day. Terrible establishment and whoever owns it should be ashamed.

Fantastic experience: Equipment and cleanliness are always well maintained, staff are super friendly and helpful, I've used other Jetts gyms, staff not so friendly, but Birkenhead staff are the exception.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I will be now be advising people to not join Jetts gym. After many years of membership they refused to waive the 2 week cancellation clause, despite me pausing my membership twice and not even having walked into the gym for 6 months now. Unbelievably bad customer experience, all for a measly $16.

Fantastic experience: Been my local gym for a while now, solid gym with solid employees. Class trainers and class advice always delivered with a smile. Anuj and the team welcome everyone with open arms and make the gym a place to look forward to at any time of the day.

Negative experience: When the lock for the bathroom is turned to red it's actually open and when it's green it's closed, contrary to the schematic norm of red being associated with locked and vice versa. I had to find out the hard way when someone walked in on me taking a shit. As funny as it sounds, it was unexpected, and unpleasant.

Negative experience: Please note that once you are on a minimum-term contract, it is very difficult to opt out. I had to relocate to a location where Jetts weren't available. Despite offering them evidence of my new employment, address, payslips, etc., ( I have the email correspondence as evidence) Jetts refused to terminate my contract. When it comes to the minimum term contract, it is pure business, and there is no humanitarian basis. Especially if you are planning for a long-term contract such as their 18-month one. You will have to pay the pending balance in the contract before you can cancel the contract. Be very careful before signing into it, and MAKE SURE YOU READ ALL THE SMALL PRINTS and CONSIDER ALL SCENARIOS. If Jetts really care about the mental health they should consider all the aspects of it and not just while remaining active by physical movements. Please read their philosophy here https://www.jetts.co.nz/philosophy/ and don't believe them as they don't have any goodwill for your mental health. The amount of pressure and stress they had given me during these difficult times were horrendous. 25/07/2024 - Update to the response received from Jetts after they completed the "Investigation" . The investigation did not help change anything as of yet. There is a GREY AREA when you get into the minimum contract with Jetts. Unless until you die, medically unfit (Medical certificate with start and end date for the medical condition required) or able to transfer membership to someone else, you are required to pay until the minimum term contract is completed. Please ensure if you relocate Jetts branch is available there too. Please don't make the mistake I made - I had to pay Jetts for weeks and weeks for nothing.

Positive experience: Definitely one of the much better jetts in Auckland. Everything is always tidy, it’s very spacious which is rare for jetts. New machines, good service from a young lady that works there she’s really nice.

Negative experience: too smelly due to volatile organic compounds (VOCs). I heard they bought new equipments not long ago. I wonder if it is potentially harmful to people.

Positive experience: The Gym is maintained in a clean condition, on the other hand the people going there are not too interested keeping it clean though. I've seen many people not bothering to wipe the equipment after use

It is always quite busy in the mornings and at midday, but if you go at 7pm you can usually get to the machines and weights that you need. The receptionist is lovely and friendly when you chat to her. The gym is clean and the music really gets you pumped. :)

Negative experience: Terrible communication, they do not respond to voicemail messages at the club or their Head Office. Email communication regarding membership status or even to connect with their members is terrible. I do not recommend this club and I would be careful about selecting this franchise for a gym.

Positive experience: Good sized gym just quite out of date compared to some of the other Jetts out there definitely due for an upgrade. No where near as much kit as some of the competitors but that's the price of paying what you do.

Positive experience: Average gym with free weights till 40kg Barbells no more, cause no squat racks Open 24/7 for members, for non members just through staffed hours.

Negative experience: Read carefully not against any business. Fact is its Not safe for women as I see lot of unwanted members smoking and drinking outside the Jetts parking lot during unstaffed hours. My wife lost her bag while she was working out. Lost her expensive belongings like watch and everything. Staff gave us very usual reply that footage was not clear to identify who came in and took it from open lockers. Sad we had to cancel as did not feel safe as my wife was been followed till our home while she was leaving gym as well. Thank you but no thank you for not offering anything for trauma caused to us. Not good service guys not thinking customer in your heart of service.

Been going for 10 months now and haven't regretted it one bit! Also, Great Selection of Resistance/Weight machines and great weights that display weights in both Pounds and Kilograms... Perfect for people from overseas or for someone like me who might prefer one over the other. Highly Recommend Jetts Fitness to anyone who wants to find an affordable, cool little gym. Also, Memberships are flexible and you can choose the right plan that suits you best =D

Fantastic experience: i like the gym. Have you ever seen such a beautiful water fountain that when you saw it you could say a million words? The water was clearest thing in the world. You could even see through it as if it was a piece of glass. The water slid down smoothly as it felt, having no problems with the giant drop. Never before I have seen anything as magnificent as this scene. Through, it can seem a bit overwhelming; the view is one of the most breathtaking pictures I ever seen. Ultimately all water fountains can be beautiful and are often used as a focal point of many public parks, yards, and even private building landscapes. Located in down town Fort Pierce, Florida has a very large, considered outstanding water fountain just like this image. Regardless, this is an elegant photo of a fountain, which is not very useful to an everyday person’s perspective. This fountain is very relaxing in its sight and sound. As well as just being appealing in the freshness that this fountain provide. However, this type of fountain is not one from which we would take a large drink to quench our thirst. this fountain is left to the more crude but useful version of fountains known simply as the wishing fountain. As I look at the sky it is azure blue with white pillow clouds. I close my eyes and listen to the sound of the water fountain and let it bait me into that nowhere land that makes me feel as if I was totally alone, my mind goes unconscious to everything except for the rushing sound of the water. Slowly other sounds begin to filter through. I can hear the birds singing, the squirrels still chitterling a way as I continue to stare at the fountain with peace . It seems as if only seconds have passed but I know that it must been hours because I can no longer feel the warmth of the sun from just standing there watching the water fountain. Fantastic experience: Yeh, one of two gym memberships I have as everyone needs a 24/7 gym. Jetts birkenhead has been a home away from home and super handy when club physical is closed. Great staff and the members are relatively tidy and courteous.

Fantastic experience: Hello, I found this gym quite good actually. Though people call me Tiny Tim Sometimes :(, Or even SLIM JIM :(. I workout everyday now. growing muscles by the ton, protein bars by the second, and protein shakes by the millisecond. This gym really has changed me From Tiny Tim to the Big Boppa. People, I also agree with Harris's review. That water fountain really caught my eye. I saw a small spark of hope when i dove into the fountain drowning myself in to that H20. (WATER) Though i tried other ways to gain muscles when i was a tiny tim. I saw this magazine called Mr Muscles. It was huge just like my... I won't get into that. But it was too costly i had to send him money for a routine on how to get muscles. I JUST COULDN"T. I told him to send me the muscles instead. Thank you jetts for everything. I LOVE YOU ALL AND I LOVE THESE MUSCLES> PROTEIN SHAKES RULE!!!!!
