Our comment from Gimnasios Fitness about The Trusts Arena:
The Trusts Arena, located in Auckland, New Zealand, is a fantastic venue that caters to a variety of events ranging from concerts to sports matches. Users frequently praise its spacious and well-maintained facilities, which provide excellent views from all seating angles. The atmosphere is often described as electric, making it an enjoyable place for attendees.
Many visitors have noted the helpful and friendly staff, who contribute to a smooth experience. The venue also offers clean restrooms, ample food and drink options, and convenient parking, making it accessible for everyone.
However, some users have raised concerns about the organization during events, particularly regarding long queues for food and drinks, limited seating comfort, and insufficient ventilation during concerts. While the arena is ideal for sporting events and some concerts, others have reported issues with sound quality and crowd management.
Overall, The Trusts Arena is a valuable asset to the community, with the potential to host large-scale events effectively, though improvements in organization and facilities during busy periods could enhance the visitor experience.
The Trusts Arena: Opinions
Fantastic experience: The concert was set up great. And venue
Positive experience: Great facility, terrible parking
Positive experience: Snoop was awesum! LAB was so great. The parking was an issue though unfortunately.
Fantastic experience: Great facility
Negative experience: I suppose the trust arena are ok but they're parking leaves a lot to be desired I parked at the trust stadium nobody was there completely empty there was nothing going on but I got are parking Bill of 65 dollars for parking on an empty car park
Fantastic experience: Visited Trust Arena for the first time, found it to be an excellent facility, I used the indoor sprint track and then moved to the outside field track, awesome set up and a great public venue for sports, exercise and enjoying the surroundings. There is also vrry good play ground next to the field track. A good set of stairs are available that are great for stair work and exercise.
Negative experience: Absolutely terrible venue for UB40!! We waited over an hour to get food and drinks and missed the opening act. A main reason for this was because there was no large sign with food and drinks available and they only had A4 print outs once you reached the front of the line to pay so everyone was taking their time to read the menu. I told a staff member to hand out menus so people would know what they wanted to order before they reached the front of the line. Also why the heck were the lights left on during the concert?!? I’ve never been to a concert with the lights on!! There should be a petition to stop concerts at this venue as they are not equipped for them!
Negative experience: Here for UB40 10th October 2024 ... line for alcohol is a snake throughout the whole complex.. poorly organized and poorly run/executed, how many times do you come to an event and they don't have enough vending machines or alcohol tables. Very annoyed, unable to get a drink at a concert .. such a shame.
Positive experience: Great venue out West Auckland. Some really fantastic sports facilities and some really good concerts.
Fantastic experience: Amazing venue and staff
Positive experience: Helpful and friendly Carpark Attendents. Clean tidy facilities. Welcoming and pleasant Arena staff.
Fantastic experience: The Trusts Arena is an absolutely fantastic venue! Whether you're attending a sports event, concert, or exhibition, the atmosphere is always electric. The stadium is spacious, well-maintained, and the seating offers great views from every angle. The facilities are top-notch, from clean restrooms to plenty of food and drink options. The staff is friendly, efficient, and always ready to help, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Parking is well-organized, and getting in and out is hassle-free. The Trusts Arena truly sets the standard for world-class venues!

Thank you so much for your 5-star review! We're delighted to hear that you found our venue spacious and convenient for events. We strive to provide the best experience for our guests, and your positive feedback is truly appreciated.
Positive experience: Went for a kpop concert, which was epic on its own, the send-off after, however, was rushed, and they corralled over 100 people into a square box, so we couldn't actually talk to the members
Thank you for sharing your experience and for the 4-star review! We're so glad to hear that you enjoyed the P1Harmony concert. We apologise for the rushed send-off and the crowding situation. We'll make sure to let the event organisers know so they can improve the experience for future shows. We hope to see you again at future events!
Fantastic experience: Amazing match between Mystics and Stars. Right on!
It was a great game wasn't it? Glad you enjoyed it!

Fantastic experience: Awesome venue,we have a great time there.
Thank you for your review, Alex!
Fantastic experience: Sitting arrangements is easy to find , recently been for concert really enjoyed, sound system was excellent
Thank you for your review! We are so glad you enjoyed the concert.
Fantastic experience: It's a stadium with everything you need..an indoor gymnasium (basketball courts etc), event spaces you can book for conferences etc, golf shop, physio, fitness gym (great gym btw), outside track and grand stand with athletics facilities, an outdoor sportsfield (rugby etc), plenty of parking, and there is a kids playground, with a walkway and jetty since it's right next to the waterway (handy for people who just want a walk and aren't there for sports).
We appreciate your incredible review! Thank you so much :)
Positive experience: Conference facilities are good but hard to find your way around due to poor signage of conference rooms and the stairs.
Hi John, thanks for your feedback! We're glad you liked our conference facilities. Sorry to hear you had trouble finding your way around. We're working on improving our signage to make navigation easier for everyone.Hope to see you again soon!
Positive experience: We just used a smaller room off to tge side for a world vision conference. The teachers were catered for, from what was possibly onsite cateres. It was really good and a great venue with plenty of parking
Fantastic experience: Went here for Sonu Nigam concert, so easy to get to and no traffic problems.
Thanks Mona, we hope you enjoyed the concert!
Fantastic experience: We love coming to play on the playground. The grounds are immaculately maintained and there are always many people enjoying the track and fields
Thank you for your kind review, Cera!
Fantastic experience: Shubh
Fantastic experience: Good parking easy access
Thanks Bryan!
Positive experience: Decent area watched the Hex event
Fantastic experience: Went to incubus/live... Was very very hot inside no ventilation
Negative experience: Poor sound quality for the concert, staff went out of their way to help me park as I was on crutches
Fantastic experience: Love this arena. Be early to find parking space as this gets full
Fantastic experience: Best place to jog
Positive experience: Shortage of parking space in & around. Poor food cafe. Cafe operators don't understand the need for food & Beverages (options especially for kids & youngsters).
Negative experience: This place should not be a music venue. It is extremely hot inside with no cooling or ventilation, people were dripping in sweat. The admission line, bathroom line and bar lines were all stupidly long - much longer than any other concert I have ever been to. To top it all off, they ended up closing bathrooms during the evening and when the concert ended there was only one door open along the wall for every person in the venue to exit through. There were multiple doors open during the performance for people to go outside to the bathrooms and bar so I have no idea why they decided to leave just the one open when the show was ending. It caused a crushing rush of people trying to squeeze out, if there was fire then we would all be dead. Do no recommend, I do not think this place should be allowed to be a venue.
Positive experience: Fairly average venue for gigs. Great if you like the pub gig feel. Easy to find, and plenty of parking around the local area.
Positive experience: Went to see Kumar Shanus show.A very famous bollywood singer. Was very excited to see him in person. The people turned up in large numbers to watch his show. There was a huge crowd as he had a lot of fans. Parking was a big problem. Had to park further away from the stadium and walk. We waited patiently in the line and finally went in. Found our seats and was overwhelmed with the crowd and noise. The show was great. The songs and dances were good, too. But there was a greater problem as the screen was too small . We could not see the performance clearly as the screen was tiny and we were seated far in the middle area from the stage. I was very disappointed. They had a large screen but did not fully utilize it.
Fantastic experience: Great venue for concerts!
Negative experience: Your booze line is embarrassing. Sort it out. Waste of everyone’s time it’s so long. Shameful mismanagement
Fantastic experience: Live concert Atif Aslam
Positive experience: Great venue for a band but terrible bar set up for getting a drink
Positive experience: Attended the concert here. Needs to be there early to find parking. Lots of street parking available.
Positive experience: Was a good venue great bathrooms they were clean and tidy only bad thing was inside the venue there was no air-conditioning and it was so hot during the concert made it uncomfortable
Negative experience: First time visiting. Went for the Live and Incubus show. Queues to get in the doors were massive and slow moving (approx 30 mins, missed most of Midwave Breaks set) and the line for drinks was a 20 minute wait which got a hell of a lot longer for everyone that came after us (even during sets). Management need to have a word with themselves. Merch was a long wait, but went during the set and it was closer to a minute If any further gigs I want to see are at Trusts, I'll pay the airfare, accommodation and go to Wolfbrook in Christchurch. They know how to run a decent gig - very short waits for drinks, merch and getting into the venue.
Fantastic experience: Good access + exits to the Arena wheelchair access as well.Great view of upper + floor levels from side of stage VIP Incubus.Easy access to get in + out for ciggy/Vape break.
Thanks for your review, Jeremy!
Fantastic experience: I visited this place the first time last week. But I was really impressed by the amount of space, parking convenience, and hygiene at the premise. I would strongly recommend this event centre if you really holding big events like music concerts or exhibition.
Thank you for your awesome review, Chintan! We truly appreciate your positive feedback. :)
Negative experience: Just seen incubus and live. The venue: the bad! People stuck in wrong ques and relied on security to get people in the right ques, as ticket didnt say which gate. Vip lane sign was on right but we arrived was actually on left que. Huge ques for drinks, very limited options. Some of the ques wait time was over 45mins. Absolutely disgusting. No taps or water at the venue with one guy passing out at the concert due heat and no water exhaustion. Measured the sound at 115 db. Most people complained the sound was too loud and incubus had lots of sound feedback from microphone or mixing at times was wrong. We qued from 530. Gate opens at 6. And when got in band had already started. I paid to see all three bands. So not we’ll managed to miss 10mins due to congestion and signage issues. The good. Plenty of parking in surrounding area. Below average venue.
Negative experience: Was really disappointed with my experience at the Trust arena. We saw Incubus and Live. The audio and lighting was awful and felt cheap. The security was also terrible as we were being aggressively shoved and pushed by a group of girls and the security refused my request for help. Not impressed and will not be coming to a concert here again. The poor set up felt like a real injustice to some awesome bands.
Positive experience: A good facility, just unfortunate that it can cause issues with traffic flow when events are being held. They really need to consider having an underground walkway for pedestrians to avoid the current stop/start paddle system employed by traffic management staff resulting in traffic gridlock. Last evening traffic was backed up on the NW motorway from before Royal Road to exit Lincoln Road. Maybe use motorway overhead gantries to warn of major events, there is limited value in placing portable trailer signs just before the stadium when it is too late for motorists to take alternative routes. Of course there will always be some level of disruption but with better planning and management it could be reduced.
Positive experience: I attended 'Live + Incubus' the 4-4-24. The concert and organisation was pretty good, it felt safe and the stuff was friendly. However is the first time I attended a concert and felt really suffocated because of lack of ventilation. It was extremely hot, no ventilation at all. I have attended concerts in other stadiums and I have felt cold because of good air conditioning. Also because of this I started feeling a headache and most of the stuff didn't know there was a lady helping with first aid kit at the entrance. The music and sound was amazing!
Positive experience: Some pictures or what it is like for the concert and basically a big empty floor with seating in the stands. Think a standard basketball court. The big issue is that there is only one bar in the GA section. ridiculous Long lines, I was in line for about eight or nine songs. I highly recommend getting your drink on before you arrive. It also got pretty hot in there.
Fantastic experience: West is best! Home to all sorts of events happening in the West. Easy access from the motorway and facilities are relatively new. A real asset to the city and the community out west! Hosts many international concerts for foreign superstars! Underrated venue.
Fantastic experience: A location for sports concert's fire works displays Diwali and much more and a great place to hire for private functions or public events and has held the world cup games also
Thanks for your awesome review, Stuart!
Positive experience: Easy access to/from motorway. Five indoor basketball courts. Heaps of parking. Lots of seating across two levels, but sadly two courts do not have full viewing so only “seating” is standing/sitting courtside. Staff are helpful and friendly. Mobile basketball hoops so versatile floor space for concerts and other events. Has gym and private community-booked rooms onsite too.
Positive experience: My husband and I attended Japan Day 2024 yesterday afternoon, 25/2/2024. Parking there was a huge problem on that day as one of the public car parks was padlocked with two security officers safeguarded and redirected cars to park somewhere else. Another car park was only designated for event organisers and stall hirers and mobility license holders. Upon arrival of The Trust Arena, we entered the venue from the entrance “General Entry”. There were lots of people eating their yummy Japanese food at the entrance which showed that there would be even more people attending the event. When we entered the arena, we saw huge amount of people, both local residents and tourists were all queuing up for complimentary gifts and lining up in front of different food stalls for their meals. We were so glad that we were given some lovely Japanese souvenirs after filling in a questionnaire about travelling to Japan. As the ventilation system at the arena was very poor, the smoke and exhaust fumes emitted from the cooking of some food inside the arena really made us suffocated. Moreover, there were no air conditioning systems in the whole arena which really made everyone in the arena sweat like a dog in the middle of summer here at Auckland. Apart from poor ventilation and lack of air conditioning system, we still recommend you to attend Japan Day next year.
Positive experience: Have had a lot of fun going here for roller skating and derby practice.
Positive experience: Ok place for concert
Positive experience: Need more food options when organizing a show. Atif Aslam show was a hit. Price of simple food items were way too high
Fantastic experience: Great Place For Volleyball. One thing I like about it is when we arrive the volleyball net is already set up.
Fantastic experience: Great food, ambience. Quirky place
Fantastic experience: It is an excellent facility for many sports combined with an excellent gym. Definitely, five star thu and thru with excellent seating and visibility for basketball etc
Positive experience: Watched 2 awesome games of rugby league, Aotearoa Maori Whine Toa & Tane Vs Auckland Man & Woman was good to see the blue strip its been a while since they played.
Fantastic experience: So many uses great place
Fantastic experience: Nice running tracks and clean stadium. Has a small kids playground which looks pretty nice.
Fantastic experience: Awesome venue. Was working at the Golden lights festival! Great space!
Fantastic experience: Very big and spacious place, I was here for an event and amazed at the space onsite.
Fantastic experience: Had a stand at the Chinese expo, and it was well organized, and the facilities was great. There was just enough parking and loading and offloading stuff was ver simple
Fantastic experience: Attended a prizegiving, and it was a great space to watch the students receive their awards. Great acoustics.
Negative experience: I took my family there for the cook Island show case. The following are the letdowns from our experience. *Carpark - no parking available for the general public, we were manage to find a parking near the netball court, 5 minutes walk with a 8month old baby. * Entrance - only 3 main doors were in use for exit and entry during the show, not enough if the whole venue is going to emergency evacuation. *Bag search and conditions of entry - Security confiscated all our drinks include the baby snacks. Apparently, the organisers and the venue agreed for all these to be allowed inside but it was never pass it on to the gate staff . It was allowed after I contact the organisers and some people came back to claim their drinks. *Security - (red badge) were a bit rough, no welcome/customer service, they just stand there and said open "your bag ". *Main foyer - a very small place for 1500 guests to move around include the expo as well. You come out of the toilet and everyone is looking at you. Not much privacy there. *Main Arena - please invest into some comfortable seats for the seating blocks (grandstand) get sore bum if you seat for a long time. Overall - we bought tickets for both days we didn't bother going on the second day due to the above let downs.
Positive experience: It's a great arena to hold concerts/celebrations. There are definitely plenty of seats. My experience is only soured by the coordinator of my event so I hope it doesn't happen to any of you. Be sure to take care of yourselves while lining up for long times because there isn't much cover from the sun or rain.
Positive experience: Went for diwali function and a huge wedding. Space can be decorated and organized to tailor to diverse range of events. Parking is sometimes an issue.
Positive experience: Attended a few events here. Not a bad venue. If attending events/concerts here, be aware that there is limited protection (if any) from the elements when waiting outside. Also, the restrooms need a bit of attention.
Positive experience: Great Arena clean and spacious
Fantastic experience: 国宝级篮球场打球的人都很有素质我很喜欢

Fantastic experience: Went to netsky. Great stout and atmosphere
Fantastic experience: Best place for basketball! Come join me on weekends . Full court! Haha
Positive experience: Felt like i was in a warehouse. But it's fine depending on the event
Fantastic experience: The place was really good for concert venues, just done attending Franklin Graham's "God Love's You" tour.
Positive experience: Went to see a comedy show. Not a great venue for that. And we never got to the front of the food and beverage line...
Fantastic experience: I love this place. Good side of west auckland. Would recommend. The stadium and arena are spot on.
Fantastic experience: Great place for events large and small. Plenty of parking and easy access to motorways and transport.
Fantastic experience: Very likeable place was therefore a basket ball tournament. They ran the tournament very well
Fantastic experience: Good indoor place for basket ball, gym, lots of parking and big ground for sports
Fantastic experience: Great outdoor venue!
Fantastic experience: Attended Special Childrens Christmas Party, Awesome Set up, Great Fun by all. Lots of Parking Onsite and Offsite.
Fantastic experience: Was really good we enjoyed it even tho the weather was holding up rain
Fantastic experience: Great place for gigs as long as there's no raining. Can easily see the stage from far back.
Positive experience: Great venue, but soooooo cold in there. We were all freezing and they'd ran out of hot chocolate by 9am.
